I did a partial kitchen reno and needed to match the existing quartz counters that Mona's team installed last time. Ran into a problem: they didn't have any remnants in that color, and I'd have to purchase a whole slab just to match a little section. Mona came to the rescue! She offered me a remnant of a different color that she promised matches really really closely the original color. And since the new section was to be installed across from the old one (not contiguous), it would be very hard to tell. Sure enough, it worked out perfectly and Mona saved me a lot of money by finding a creative solution. Just like last time, I was doing this long distance without seeing anything in person. With contractors there is always drama or miscommunications, especially if you are not there to supervise. Not with Mona. Her reliability, attention to detail, and smart problem-solving in every project, no matter how small, give me total peace of mind. And the prices are still very reasonable, even years later! I'm not a welder. I don't do welding. But a family member of mine who I have not spoken to in…read moresome time but happens to share the same name of mine did business with these crooks. It all began a few months ago. I was doing laundry around 8am getting ready to head for work when my dog started barking like a mad lad. My cell phone buzzes and opens up to my security cameras as someone or something had illegally trespassed onto my property. I see two large men wearing all black beating and kicking my front door from my cameras. Since we have had numerous B&E's in my town I grabbed my legally owned pistol and headed for the door. Turns out it was two constables. One wearing a Boston Police windbreaker (illegal for constables to wear police shit like that to a job). They immediately started trying to gain entry to my house (I have it on video from two camera angles with audio) and were trying to intimidate me into accepting papers from them and paying New Bedford Welding Supply. I was shocked because I work in the public safety sector and not the Welding and construction sector and until that moment had no idea of this companies existence. The constables were extremely rude and though they had the correct name they were several towns away and obviously had the wrong person as I don't own a construction company. I immediately called New Bedford Welding supply and asked to speak to the Manager or owner. A man who refused to share his name identified himself as the owner. He laughed and thought it was funny. He thought it was funny they broke my door, he thought it was funny they hit the wrong house and laughed when I said I was in fear for my life as I thought I was going to get robbed. He even accused me of being a deadbeat for lack of payment. He laughed as he told me he just googled the name on the slip and I came up first. What type of idiot does something like that? He then hung up on me like a piece of garbage. The Constables fled and hung out in my driveway for a while illegally trespassing. I called the local police but they were gone by the time they showed up. and New Bedford Welding Supply has stopped answering phone calls. They never gave me an apology for the severe emotional trauma they put me through and have yet to repair my door that the constables kicked that they sent to the WRONG HOUSE. It's funny how it turns out after contacting my relative's company the bill the idiot thugs were sent to serve papers on or collect was paid a month prior and he told me the Constables broke his screen door. If one person reading this decides not to give you any money then it is a victory for me. 1 Star because these people literally sent armed men to the wrong house to try to harass me into paying a bill that I had nothing to do with what so ever. I guess the saying is right. Nothing good has ever come out of New Bedford.
