Selecting tile can be difficult. Finding the right color and tile design to go with cabinets, counters, wall covers etc. can be daunting. We went in with a kitchen cabinet door and at first did some browsing. Joe, the owner offered help and first listened to what we were trying to do. Joe and Rachel have supplied tiles for a myriad of projects and that experience enabled him to readily offer us 5 or 6 viable options many of which we wouldn't have found or considered. Joe helped explain tradeoffs, make comparisons and even was blunt in saying, "Jerry you're not going to like what I say but" - telling me some of my ideas were not good and explaining why. I respect that candor. They have a sister business that does installation. They were just doing an installation of a tile we were considering for another client and Joe sent me a video so that I could see this tile in a similar project. This place may seem inauspicious from the outside, but they offer a wide variety of tiles and the professional help and consultation is outstanding. read more

I stopped by the LaFauci showroom based on a tip from a FaceBook neighborhood group, and after seeing her incredible work and her recommendations for our home, I was completely hooked. She was so helpful with everything, melding the two visions my husband and I had for renovating, adding on to, and updating our home with ease. Our friends and family have raved about all of the tile she suggested - especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. But most importantly, Rachael and the whole team at LaFauci were so enthusiastic and kind. When I dashed over in a last minute panic, worried that we had messed up how the kitchen tile would work with the new countertops we selected, Rachael quickly found a solution for us (different colored grout), and recommended a wall paint color that pulled everything together effortlessly. This is a GREAT store. They have so many different styles to suit anyone's taste, but the best part of our experience with LaFauci was the customer service. We worked with Christina, who let us browse the store. Once we picked out a few styles we liked, she helped us put together a beautiful set of floor and wall tiles for our bathroom. We weren't really thinking about price when we picked out our tiles, even though we had a tight budget. In the end, we found out our design was outside our budget, but with minor modifications, both Christina and Joe LaFauci helped us buy the tiles we wanted AND stay within our budget. They also mentioned that they inspect every tile before selling it to the customer. This ensures that there are no defects that might lead to cracking during installation or years down the road. I started a home renovation project nearly 1 year ago. Spent a small fortune at the Design Center with my interior decorator in tow buying tile. Picked tile that was beautiful, expensive and came with a 6-8 week lead time for delivery. Fast forward to last week when my contractor called to say that no tile was chosen for a hallway/pantry. He told me to go to Home Depot and find something. I did actually go to The Home Depot just in case.... but a quickly left. I have purchased from Roma tile many times in the past. I have been hap with the product, but did not want to deal with their (lack of) customer service. I went to YELP and searched for tile. - and the rest is history. 1 week, beautiful tile, excellent customer service (Stephanie) and the owner (Joe) is customer service oriented as well. My only regret is that I did not go there BEFORE I went to The Design Center. If I have the courage to undertake renovating the other half of the house I will absolutely begin the project with LaFauci Tile and Marble. read more

After reading the Yelp reviews I happened into LaFauci Tile during a pass through Watertown. The selection is wonderful. There is no searching through dreck to find the good stuff. All of their tiles are beautiful. We were renovating an apartment kitchen and bath for a rental unit. I have a propensity to decorate everything as if it were my own and I put together some tiles for the kitchen and bath of my dreams. Then I talked to Larissa and told her my conundrum. This is for a rental and I want to keep the price down and think about safety and longevity. She immediately saw my vision and replaced some of the higher priced tiles with beautiful, but less expensive options. After reading reviews on Yelp, we decided to check out LaFauci Tile and Marble is our 3 year quest to find tile for our backsplash in our remodeled kitchen. I've been to many tile stores and whenever I would request advice, the common response was well, whatever you like..no guidance at all. Determined to succeed this time, I sent LaFauci an email, explaining my frustration, mentioned my kitchen cabinet color and the name of my granite. Christine got back to me promptly and told me no problem, she could find a solution for me. Yes, she did! She is awesome, so nice, easy to work with and showed me, then my husband this awesome hand made 2x9" tile that we loved. A few weeks or so later it came in and Saverio and his man ( I apologize for forgetting his name) installed the tile, then the next day another wonderful fellow (again, my mind escapes me on his name) did the grout and caulking. We now have a beautiful FINISHED kitchen! The whole team was great to work with and cleaned up each day after they finished. We highly recommend this team! read more

It wasn't a particularly big job he did for me, but his extremely helpful attitude and willingness to please was well beyond the norm. I had just finished a costly installation of a countertop by a big box store, and there were some small pieces of the job that needed remnant pieces. Late in the afternoon on a Saturday Joe measured out a couple of pieces of granite for me, custom cut them, and charged a very meager sum for the work. Made me feel real guilty about having gone to big-box land, and reminded me of the little extras you get from working with a local, family business - not to mention the satisfaction that comes with shopping local. Next tile, counter or marble job I do, I'll go to LaFauci first and give the remnant business to HD. read more

My mother can be difficult and joe showed amazing patience. The variety in the store was great and my mother was thrilled with the final product.
