We live in California and just bought a lovely house in Eugene...- which we literally could not…read morehave done without Kelly. She not only educated us on the market and the area, she literally represented us every step of the way. She visited several houses for us and provided us with detailed videos of her walk-through, plus her educated opinion, which made us feel confident enough to purchase a house without ever going to Eugene ourselves until after the deal was done! Kelly was always quick to respond, kind, professional, and willing to patiently answer every one of my questions. I also appreciated that her descriptions of the houses were always objective, unless we asked her for her opinion, in which case she'd always offer her smart and honest input. We are extremely happy with the house and how easy, smooth and enjoyable the whole process was. If you are looking for a realtor in Eugene, go with Kelly. You'll be in the best hands!

She helped us sharpen our critical thinking skills as it related to placing offers and negotiating and she helped us narrow our focus so we ended up with a home that really met our needs and was within our budget. She was straight forward, knowledgeable, a great communicator, and also really funny. I'm so glad we are finished looking for a home but at the same time I also miss perusing them with Kelly! I cannot recommend her enough!

I just moved in and had such an amazing experience, i had to write a review asap!…read more Before move: From the start Jenny has been great. She was really prompt and forthright when i contacted via craigslist about the room and would check in every few days (in a sweet and not annoying manner mind you) about my interest, how my moving process was going etc. She was transparent and genuine and i never felt like i was being misled or asking too many questions. She very much focused on my feeling safe and a right fit for the place and current roommates than trying to hustle me into a contract. As i would be moving site unseen from out of state, i really appreciated this. I've never had such a caring and hands-on landlord-tenant experience before this let alone before signing a contract and moving in! Moving in: this was a breeze AND since i was coming from out of state, Jenny offered to pick me up from the airport, take me to run errands all before signing my contract! When signing paperwork, she pro-rated my rent as i moved mid-month though i had said i would pay for the full month as a guarantee for my spot. She even fixed and lent me her new bike without my asking as she knew i wouldnt have any transportation moving here. Also there was a delay in my stuff being shipped and they lent me a sleeping bag and offered an air mattress. Also her daughter was sweet enough to offer showing me around Eugene and going to the store if i needed anything. All of this really shows you how much they care about their tenants and treat us all like family. If you have a problem, the expectation is to go to them and collectively find a solution. I can't wait to develop this relationship further! The place: it's even better than the pictures! Everything is brand new and in mint condition, house is well-maintained and they are closeby and on hand to come fix or lend you anything as needed. All of their properties are in a GREAT neighbourhood - this location is hard to beat. I really feel like I've moved into a community and warm environment - not just a place to store my things. I am incredibly happy with my decision and would give more stars if possible!

The people at Bell are very friendly, but that doesn't mean they have any idea what they're doing…read more I've been renting from Bell for a year now, and it has been little other than hassle after hassle. We had to change our mailing address twice because Bell didn't tell the post office that there were three apartments at this address instead of one; I had to visit the post office myself more than five times to get the issue sorted out. In the winter, a pipe above our bathroom broke, and despite multiple calls and reminders, it took Bell three weeks to actually fix the problem- and of course, the maintenance men never cleaned up the piles of moldy ceiling that they left scattered across the sink. When my roommate moved to Medford, I had to visit their office three times to sign documents; the third time, my property manager called me in, but left before I arrived - luckily, one of the secretaries was able to find the documents for me. Most recently, our ten-year-old washing machine broke, the maintenance man came to fix it, and proclaimed it all better - however, the broken parts had not been replaced, and the problem persisted for another five days before they could return and actually fix the problem. In addition, it seems impossible to get into direct contact with either a property manager or the maintenance department head- they all take voicemails and call you back at their leisure, making it very difficult to solve any sort of problem. Don't get me wrong - Bell isn't all bad. Their secretarial staff is pleasant, helpful and understanding. Indeed, all of their staff is cheerful. But if a problem happens, you can expect to not have it solved if you don't pester them about it. Seeing as how Bell has a stranglehold on the Campus-area rental scene, it may be difficult to avoid them, but if you have the opportunity, save yourself a headache and rent from someone else.

They are slumlords taking advantage of people. Makes me absolutely sick.
