After I told her that I would like the doctor to call me back because we are in the middle of a pandemic and I expect my kids' pediatrician to know this type of information, she put me on hold and asked a nurse, who gave a couple of suggestions. By the way, the answer is Walgreens -- they give shots to those under 18, so most parents have been taking their kids there.

My local hospital was a 5 minute walk from my house and if…read moreI wanted to stay in network I had world renowned hospital only a 15 minute car ride (with traffic). I was incredibly spoiled. I was born with some health issues and have anxiety issues that regularly needed care so I had the pleasure (? lol) of getting treatment often. Shortly after moving to Maine, I got COVID which turned into long COVID, which left me with permanent health issues needing my PCP to refer me out to different specialists. Because of the health issues, I've also had to visit the ER and even have emergency surgery. This hospital is about a 30 min drive (going Maine's speed limits and no traffic). I have never met nicer people than the ones that work here. Yes, EVERYONE, has an off day but the most I've seen of someone having an off day is they aren't chatty but hyper focused on the task at hand - which is perfectly fine by me. The ER staff are phenomenal. Cardiology, Neurology and the PCPs are all incredibly- can't forget Urgent Care!! Also great and convenient. They are up-to-date on not common health issues and incredibly knowledgeable. The surgical team - holy moly. They banished my anxiety pre-surgery by just being human. They answered questions, smiled and joked with me, kept my husband up to date with everything and did an amazing job. I'd prefer to never need surgery again, but I'm glad to know that if I do - I am in incredible hands.

The massage was one of the best I've ever had, & I've experienced massages with at least 6 therapists over the years. My problem areas were addressed and relieved. It was very relaxing.
