Not good. Desperately I sought help to repair what was wrong. They are Rexton and I bought them at Costco and so help was about 200 miles away... Then I called Wendy and Bobbi at Beltone in Rockport and they said come on in. Even thought they are Beltone and not Rexton specialists, and I was not a current patient/customer. they had my hearing aid cleaned and working again and out the door in about 15 minutes. And here's the kicker - they REFUSED to take any payment. My wife and I are moving fulltime to Midcoast next year. I have found the audiology practice which will keep me listening for the rest of my life!

Dr. Jardine did extensive testing and gathered thorough information from me. He spent a good deal of time with me, educated me about tinnitus in an understandable way and is kind and thoroughly engaged. I have hope for the first time that my tinnitus can be managed with the hearing aids, designed to address my particular issues, that I now wear. "We do this all the time". Two full months later and multiple phone calls to check on status of hearing aids and they never returned multiple calls. Finally received a bill for the exam as "it was not covered by insurance" and they did not work with my Aetna medicare insurance. They did send my records of the visit to my PCP and from my doctor learned that Audiology Center would not work with Aetna. Disgusting that they would not even tell me directly....

We went back into her office and she proceeded to conduct a hearing test on me. Sure enough, just like the other two places, she told me that I was a good candidate for hearing aids. After talking for a little bit I decided to go home and think about it for a little while. After about 3 weeks of going back in and asking a ton of questions I decided to take them up on their offer of a free trial period. I'm glad I did. What a difference.
