The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and fresh and the locals seem to love it too! Came here on a Monday around noon. It was a little tricky to find since Google maps instructed us to the parking lot on the hill behind the cafe, but it wasn't hard to correct the mistake. The restaurant is by the water, close to a playground for kids and had some nice outdoor seating options. I ordered the sun-dried tomato panini sandwich (I recommend adding some protein like chicken or bacon to it) and my partner ordered the chicken pesto panini sandwich (which I loved!). The homemade slaw was a nice compliment to the grilled sandwiches (their slaw is on the sweeter side). Not pictured are the drinks & sweet treats we very much enjoyed: -creamy chai latte -white hot chocolate (5 stars!) -chocolate chip cookie (drool) -nanaimo bar (I believe they are gluten free? The staff are local and friendly, and the sitting area is nice. While not huge it is big enough for the small town of Bancroft and there are tables outside.
