Considering about 10 of us showed up all at the same time, our food was prepared quickly and perfectly. It's a small-ish cafe style restaurant specializing in sandwiches and smoothies. Lot's of amazing choices to choose from for whatever you may be looking for. I personally had the poached egg sandwich and it was amazing. Right next door is a bike shop which I think they're in cahoots with. It would seem it's a great spot to stop by if you're biking or cross country skiing in the area. Great Lunch Spot!!

Not your typical dark and dank Starbucks with the banging and clanging echoing around you and grumpy people lining up for their caffeine fix. Instead it had a peaceful vibe with beautiful interior design and kind of 80s-inspired IKEA art that isn't offensive all all, ever. The counter had nice pleasant ladies behind it that couldn't speak much English, making it exactly what I was looking for: Local flavour. I ordered a cappuccino and butter croissant and boy oh boy was that good! That was the best croissant I've ever had! Just amazing and I get them fairly often. This was a clear standout with texture and flavour. And the coffee was great too. Looking around, I noticed everyone was settled in and comfortable in their spots. There were a couple retired gents reading the paper, as the line at the counter built somewhat with people who needed to get in and get out. The seating is fabulous! There are cushions and comfy spots everywhere, so nice! And in the back there was another large room that was somewhat secluded from the ordering area by the front. As I was enjoying my coffee, I noticed others having their breakfast which looked amazing from what I could see so I headed back to the counter. I was so happy with what I ordered! As we poured over the display cases of baked pastries, cakes, and chocolate bonbons, a steady stream of locals picked up their breakfasts and treats. "Everything here is good!" one said. And it surely was -- the croissants and pastries are fresh and flakey; the desserts rich; the chocolates bonbons are incredible flavour explosions with complex layers of flavour -- passionfruit, cassis, and raspberry amongst our favourites. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality you're getting. This place is already earmarked for our next trip!

We also shared a raspberry chocolate pastry which was okay. Maybe better if it was toasted but it wasn't offered as an option. My mocha cappuccino was deep in flavor and cocoa powder, not syrup, was used. Even with the almond milk it was still rich and the milk to coffee ratio was just right. The americano was a good cup. Interior is clean, modern and cozy. Seating is generous and spacious. Their counter is nice and centered. Our barista was efficient and friendly. Would recommend this in the downtown area, about 1.25 miles away from old Quebec.
