It looks like cheese might have once been on the bread, but later removed. It was truly the most perplexing. I love to support local restaurants but this isn't the first disappointment from them (last time we were told we didn't read the menu correctly despite doing exactly that), and this time just sealed the deal that we will be unable to return unless there is new management and a better cook.
