We were at the airport and just wanted a quick bite, nothing to much or that involved table service. We passed by a few times and then just decided on a savory pastry and bagel from Tim Hortons, plus a few Tim Bits (donut holes). There were only two people working at the time and service was a little slow (they seemed to be bickering at times) but we eventually got the the front, placed our orders, and picked it up in a few minutes. Tim Hortons is pretty consistent, so you know what you're going to get without breaking the bank.

In the arrivals section of the airport near section 20 at the arrivals exit. Great seating - clean, many seats, and charging at every table

This is for the Tim Hortons located outside Arrivals (after you go through customs and baggage claim and then hand your customs paper to the border police). When I first saw this spot, I didn't think anything of it because I was in a rush to get out of the airport so I could check in to my hotel. The second time I saw this spot was during an unfortunate circumstance when I had to fly on the next flight out of the airport (the next day). With no place to stay, this place became my savior. I ordered the chicken with bacon strips, lettuce, and tomatoes in a baguette. My friend ordered the same thing without the bacon. She got a Boston creme doughnut and I got a glazed chocolate doughnut. It was lovely. The area has seats so you can charge your phone and also do some work on your laptop (with the free airport wifi) while you eat. The sandwich was made right on the spot so it was warm/hot. I didn't try the coffee so don't come at me. The doughnuts were reliable just like they always were. The space is relatively well-kept, which is awesome. Not dirty. Not a ton of people sleeping on benches in this area. As I am writing this, I am sitting here right now experiencing all of this. So I must say, I am grateful for this establishment. This is a really great spot for when it's practically midnight or anytime after 10 PM and you have nowhere to go/have a delay/have a canceled flight until the next day. This is the spot for you. The food is decent and reliable for a time like this.

This is located in the domestic section of the airport. We placed our order at 1122, got my coffee right away and sat to wait for our food. Steady stream of customers and orders were coming up for them. After 10 minutes I went up to inquire as I was waiting to catch the attention of the server, a management person walked up, ignored me and told the server to get her a coffee ! I finally got the attention of one of the server who took my bill and spoke to the cashier. She told the person preparing the order who said she didn't see the order. Eventually she called our number 95 handed me the sandwich and immediately turned away ( still missing the order of chili ). I had to catch the attention of the first server and asked him about the chili. He ended leaving his station and prepared the chili for me. Total time 22 minutes from the time we placed the order ! This is unacceptable in a place like this where everyone is in a hurry to catch their flight. The food was tasty but the speed of the delivery is beyond poor.

Great food, coffee, donuts and all those things you expect to be delicious and perfect when hitting up any Tim Horton's location. I am always so thankful when we come across one during our travels. This particular location had a really great group of employees.

It's not hard to find. It's located by a Starbucks just past gate 75. The line was pretty long when we arrived. The doughnut selection was pretty scarce. They weren't listed in English so I had to point and describe which doughnuts I wanted. The service was good and place was really busy. The maple cream filled doughnut was delicious!

Being a Canadian living in the U.S., whenever I get a chance to return to the place where I grew up, anyone can get their Starbucks and Peet's coffee, so I always make a point to have my Tim Horton's coffee every chance I get. Once upon a time, Duncan Donuts (and its coffee) restaurants were omnipresent, but now it has been replaced by Tim Horton's chain (a former NHL player). Second Cup is basically Canadian version of Starbucks, I'd go from time to time, but for me, Tim Horton feels more like home as the number of Van Houtte Café seems to have dwindled since I left for the U.S. Tim Horton coffee make me like I'm home, and it has a very casual feel to it - which makes me feel really warm.

Tim Horton's is killing it those morning Starbucks right across the way is almost empty!

Stopped here for a quick breakfast before catching my flight. It was crazy busy making the Starbucks across the way look like a graveyard. The crowds can't be wrong and they were not. My Egg Muffin clone was excellent and the coffee was adequate. Honestly the staff didn't have time to be overly friendly they were totally slammed with business. The area was mostly clean but the sheer number of people eating was outpacing the ability for the worker to keep things perfect. I think they did a great job considering the environment.

    Perfect for a layover!

I've been to several Tim Hortons over the years, and this one has the same formula -- good coffee and acceptable donuts.

The app was pointing to this nearby place and little did I know it's sort of like a Quebecois A&W that keeps late hours. It appears that this is a newer store to replace an older one. There is an outdoor terrace, a spacious ordering area, and a very nice dining room for this genre, complete with a crazy inscription (to an American) on the wall saying "Salut, mes p'tites frites." What? "Greetings, my little fries?" There was a fair bit of selection on Lafleur's menu. However, I wasn't looking for a hamburger. I settled on a chicken sandwich combination, but upgraded the fries to onion rings, perhaps as an excuse to say "rondelles d'oignon." Realistically, it's because I eat them so infrequently and wasn't expecting to converse with anyone. Everything tasted fairly good. I received good counter service at Lafleur. The personnel could tell I was not from the area nor familiar with their offerings. What is it with fast food and coffeehouse service in suburban areas of Quebec? It's reliably polite and up to the task! There can be marginal service at enough fast food places in the States, especially if a grittier locale. The prices were fine after being converted to U.S. currency, but the hefty sales taxes push it up. The Canadian government doesn't discriminate and even corrals us foreigners into paying for their national health care system through sales taxes. If transiting on fast and wide Cote-de-Liesse or wanting to get a bite outside the airport property, Lafleur ought to work. It won't be a haven for vegetarians and vegans, though. I think that, for fast food, eating one's food on the outdoor terrace and watching the traffic whizz by on a temperate day might actually be enjoyable.

It's a brick structure on a corner in an industrial area, which most airports tend to have adjacent to them, complete with trucks that might require that you put your car in reverse to allow them to make their sweeping turns. That said, who would be eating here? That would be employees of the many businesses in this industrial area, truckers, people staying at hotels along Cote-de-Liesse that don't offer much in the way of food, and people who happen to drive by when hungry. In my case, I had been planespotting at the airport's Jacques de Lesseps Park in the evening and, as I worked back toward the ramps to the 20, I saw Jumbo's and hadn't eaten. Why hassle with Montreal crowds when I've got this place right in my face? I had a club sandwich with fries as well as a soft drink. Jumbo's personnel are very friendly, be they the cashier or the owner. The prices appeared to be fair, but it's typically those crazy socialistic Canadian taxes that can make the tab look higher. That could have come into play! You'll notice something unusual about the place, especially if not at peak hours. Inside, it's huge, with all these booths befitting a big cafeteria-like diner. Then, there's a fair amount of parking. In industrial areas outside of Montreal, the streets are very wide ... and there aren't even too many cars on them. Here, the dining room and the parking lot are probably sized to accommodate peak breakfast and lunch crowds. Another hint on how to find Jumbo's - if you see the fairly nice Holiday Inn Express at about Cote-de-Liesse and 55th, it's just down the street and within walking distance from that hotel.
