On Saturday, I was heading northbound along Highway 7. I needed to use a washroom, as I had been out and about at this stage for three hours and my bladder needed attention. I saw this Tim Hortons on the right and said yes to stopping by. I found a parking spot steps away from the main entrance, which faces Highway 7. I used my umbrella as I walked over. The washrooms are straight ahead when you walk into the cafe. There are two single stalls. I took the first stall, which caters to any gender. The other one is similar, but is built for accessibility. The woman behind me used that one. The stall that I used was clean. No issues. My bladder was happy. I went to check out the baked goods. I saw that there was one lemon blueberry tart left in the display. I had to have it. I got a cheerful woman who fetched this tart for me. Got it! I am still new to how the Tims app works. I learned that I could have my Tims rewards QR code coupled with enabling a payment method. I now have it set to withdraw money from my Tims gift card whenever I have the Tims rewards QR code up. It's the little eureka moments that keep me content and current. The woman asked how I was going to pay. I said with my Tims gift card. I had the QR code scanned. It worked! I got points collected and I paid all at once. Yay! She fetched my tart and placed it in a paper bag. I thanked her and wished her a great day. She reciprocated. I looked at the merchandise before I headed back to my car. I liked the pink beverage flask with a cute bear dangling from it. Adorable! I had my lemon blueberry tart in my car. It was so good. It was flaky with the perfect blueberry filling and lemon flavour. I wish it were on the menu all the time. I'd be a regular TImmy's customer! I drove south along McCowan Road and made a right turn on Alton Towers Circle. I then made a couple of left turns to get to the drive-thru. The drive-thru has two lanes that converge. The right lane wasn't operational when I was there. I pulled up the speaker. I let the woman know that I had an order under my name. At first, it sounded like she couldn't find it. I rattled off the order number. She found it. She said that I could drive up to the second window. There was steady business at around 6:30 pm on a Wednesday evening. I will say that it took a while for the lineup at the drive-thru to move. I ended up putting my car in parked mode with one car ahead of me. I hit the drive-thru at 6:34 pm. I left at 6:46 pm. A twelve-minute wait isn't horrible. However, if you're hungry, it feels like an eternity! Despite the wait, I got the nicest woman at the window who greeted me by my first name. She said that she'd get my grilled cheese melt. She handed it over wrapped in paper. It was toasty warm and I could feel how crispy it was. I was excited! She let me know that she was getting my Timbits. I like getting the assorted and having flavours randomly decided by a complete stranger. I appreciated her communication style. I got my box of TImbits. I wished this woman a wonderful evening. I could tell that she appreciated it. It was nice to see her face light up. She reciprocated. I put my goodies in my insulated bag and headed home. I then had dinner. I love the grilled cheese melt so much. Maybe it's the bread that was toasted. It does have sesame seeds, which was different. I loved the melty cheese with the crisped-up bread. I welcomed the discount. The Timbits were yummy. I got four different flavours. My favourite these days is the one with lemon filling in it. So good! The only caution that I have coming here is the parking lot. It's not a grid, so expect weird angles with cars coming at you without a ton of warning. I liked visiting this Timmy's.
