While on vacation my husband and I pulled into the parking lot 20 minutes before they were to close. We got out of the car and proceeded to walk to the door when I noticed an employee ,in uniform, and her friend, not in uniform, run to the door and lock it and then laugh at us and shut off the lights. Brandee the "manager" is completely unprofessional and incompetent at her job. I was told to pull around and that they would bring my food out to me bc they were waiting on eggs to cook. 16 minutes later my food finally came out just for me to have to go back in to retrieve missing items. once I got home I realized our order was incorrect. called down to the store, they asked if I would like to come back so they could make my order right. the "manager" proceeded to hold the receipt in my face and tell me I got what I paid for and I corrected her and told her but that's not what I ordered. she told me if I wanted what I ordered that I would have to repay for it. And that it's my fault for not checking that they rang it in properly. Don't waste your time there, they either don't have what you want or aren't willing to do their job correctly. read more

Originally, we were going to order the pretzel turkey bagel sandwich, but they were either out or don't have it anymore. Yet it is on the menu, then we order their "new" Turkey black pepper bacon sandwich. The menu shows it comes on Ciabatta bread... we ordered 2 of them. When we got home, we found Panini's with 2 very thin pieces of turkey, a few crumbles of bacon and all but green tomatoes. Not exactly what we had expected. I also have stopped several mornings to get some oatmeal and they are always "just sold out" at 8:30 in the morning. I am a pretty frequent flyer at Tim's but am thinking I will drive a few miles up the hill to go to see if they have what they advertise. read more

This place gets two stars not because the coffee was bad or the quality of the donuts was lacking, but because the staff made me feel HELLA awkward. So here is the story in short, it's is ridiculous and funny at the same time. So my parents live in Meadville and I haven't been back to visit them in a long, long time. I'm in town visiting and on a deadline to finish some stories, so I look up coffee shops in the area where I can go to do some editing. I see there is a Tim Horton's downtown so I head over there to get some work done over a large cup of coffee. Now the coffee isn't bad. It was a hot day so I got it iced with cream. Definitely not as strong as Starbucks, but still packed a decent punch. So I'm sitting there, alone at a table, going over my writing, immersed in my own thoughts, when one of the staff appears in front of me with a donut and a note with some of the staff's phone numbers on it. This note was hilarious, it listed names with phone numbers in parentheses then at the bottom it said: "Single? If so, call us." I could have sworn that people stopped giving out notes in middle school, but apparently in Meadville young women in their 20's still pass them out. Now I tried to play it cool, to keep on working, but at this point I was feeling kinda awkward. It's kind of a bummer, because this seems like it woulda been a good place to get work done while I am in town for a couple weeks, but now I have to find a new coffee shop where I will feel less uncomfortable. I ordered a double toasted Asiago bagel (because their toaster is terrible) it was actually cold and uncooked through. Also for some reason this place puts on about an inch thick of cream cheese. Every time I have to scrape off 75% of it. They're wasting money. I cant imagine who uses that much cream cheese. read more

Currently trapped in their drive-through line after making the unfortunate decision to grab a quick cup of coffee. I see from the reviews now that I'm not the only person who has made this mistake. There is no quick here. And as others have said, once you realize that your coffee stop is going to take approximately 6 years it's too late, you're stuck. They also had no cookies or donuts at 6 pm. Should shut this place down. We were on our way home from Disney when we stopped. I waited longer for this coffee than for anything at Disney. read more

I'm convinced it's a corporate thing because I've been to several other Tim's , and it's always the same answer, Sorry . This is getting old. Why advertise them if you're not making them. Anyway, I give at least three stars because their products and coffee are good. And the free WiFi helps. The restaurants are always clean. So to sum up. Coffee and donuts were ok. The staff was friendly. Thankfully just passing thru the area. One of the local patrons (older guy in fox racing hat) was extremely rude to the staff and other patrons. If this guy acting this was in one of my establishments I would have tossed him out. It would improve your overall rates and the city. read more

Great coffee and food but the way the store is managed you will be lucky if they have what you want available. Never went to a place where they are continually out of something I and they just simply say "we don't have anymore". Drive through is even worst considering there is no way to get out of line once you discover that they are out of your item. You have to stay in line and follow along in drive through until you go pass the window. The staff tries hard but you can see that they are instructed to operate that way. Too bad read more

HORRIBLE service. The drive thru is a nightmare! I timed how long it took me to go through the drive thru on a Saturday morning at about 8am. 20 MINUTES AND 15 SECONDS! I was at a dead standstill for most of this. Now, I know what you're thinking, why not just get out of the line. BECAUSE YOU CAN'T! They have cement curbs along both sides so once you are in line you cannot get out. You are stuck there. They also regularly run out of popular items. Avoid this Tim Hortons at all costs. The staff was friendly albeit not too quick - the young lady at the register seemed a little slow. Ambiance was chain-pleasant and it seemed like a nice place to sit and drink a coffee. This would have been a 3-star restaurant if not for the horrible, horrible food. Maybe it's all Tim Horton's, maybe it's just this one, since I've only been to one other Tim Horton's before and all I have is a vague recollection of extreme disappointment. We were told to go to Tim Horton's for coffee from a number of Pittsburgh-planted Canadians while in PA and so we did. Damn Canadians. I ordered a straight latte. What I got was a horrendous latte - ironically it would have made a delicious cup of coffee. For those of you unfamiliar with a latte, it's 1-3 shots of strong espresso served with a good dose of steamed milk and an inch or so of milk froth at the top. This was unquestionably a cup of medium-strength drip coffee served with a heavy dose of cream and absolutely no froth. I would think that the nice, but slow, girl at the register just messed up my order and gave me a cup of coffee, except for the price, the fact that we watched the person behind the counter pretend to froth the milk and the fact that my friend ordered a regular cup of coffee so we could compare. The 'actual' coffee he ordered was repulsive, probably the worst I've ever tasted. We also tried a number of donuts and bagels, since this was our first time at a Tim Horton's and we wanted to see what it was like. The cheddar bagel was flavorless and full of artificial coloring. Like the rest donuts, they had a strange cakey texture without the chewy exterior and super-fine interior you'd expect of a regular bagel. I'm pretty sure they were just made of cake batter with less sugar. The actual donuts seemed more or less identical to the bagels - cakey with a dry texture and a fine crumb instead of fluffy or airy. Most notable was the sour cream donut. Usually sour cream as an ingredient denotes a moist texture and just a hint of sour flavor offset by sweetness. The engineers at TH's really don't understand the point of this, and instead made a cakey donut with a powerful and rather repulsive punch of spoiled milk flavor. I am 98% positive the blueberry bagel and the blueberry donut are made with exactly the same batter. A fan of unique ice cream flavors, (my favorite is avocado or lemon basil from Capo Giro in Philly) I was excited to try the strawberry basil ice cream. It tasted like artificial strawberry ice cream mixed with dried oregano that has been stored in the pantry for ten years. Awful. The lemon poppyseed tasted like kitchen cleaner. Everything was fine and dandy until I came to the counter, I checked out with my dad, and low and behold deep, and I mean DEEP, spoons. Stopped here on our way back from Florida, first Tim Horton's stop on our way back up to Buffalo. The staff was super friendly which was much appreciated after a long day in the car. Being from Buffalo I have not been able to cure my taste for coffee anywhere but Tim Hortons. As I was traveling North from North Carolina with a Canadian, we had to stop once she saw the Tim Horton's sign on Rte 79. I'm a vegetarian so I never expect much at chain restaurants: got a grilled cheese panini with tomato. Staff at the register asked did I want a combo meal for $5.+ (forget exact amount). Sure, why not? Combo is any panini plus kettle chips (heated, though I don't know why) and a drink (hot black tea for me). Sandwich and chips were ordinary, tea was pretty good. My Canadian friend tried to order a sandwich without meat on a croissant which became an exercise in patience as she had to explain several times her "special order" request. After removing the bacon (!) from her croissant she could eat her lunch. She got a coffee which she enjoyed. Restroom was clean. Floor and tables were dirty. Observed other customer/staff interactions, Most were cordial however when a black woman entered she was not served for several minutes even though she was only customer. (Staff appeared to be white, as did other customers). One staff member went so far as to call out that she would wait on her but that she "was off the clock" as she continued to work in the food prep area. The customer replied that was ok as she didn't know quite what she wanted. She was able to place her order eventually when another staff member appeared from the back. Overall a disappointing experience which I won't repeat. read more

Love this place! Better than Starbucks in my opinion...their iced coffee is the bomb.

I went here with my son last night, and I was beyond disappointed. The ice cream was great, don't get me wrong. Also the employees were very nice. But what made this experience terrible for my son and I were the spoons. They were the worst spoons I have ever put in my mouth. It was practically a plastic soup ladle. The groove in the spoon was so deep that I couldn't fit my upper lip down in there to get all the ice cream. I was so angry that I couldn't eat my ice with a normal spoon.
