Clean, friendly, modern, fast. Always stop here on my way to Pittsburgh. Cool coffee taps inside as well!

Horrible management. If you really need coffee and a donut, try anywhere else. Slow service and rude employees. I'll never go back.

This shop is located in downtown Meadville right on Chestnut Street and close to Diamond Park Square. The shop itself is both cute and spacious. It has a display case full of pastries, a counter to order from, and plenty of seating. Towards the back are bathrooms and a small area for children to color. You can also see a roaster through some plexiglass. I wasn't sure if they actually used it, but it was still cool to see it there. For my coffee on this morning I went with one of their specialty lattes, a hot BNB, while my wife went with an iced mocha. The menu described mine as sweet cream butter and brown sugar melted together to make an extra rich, extra creamy, mildly sweet latte. As my drinks were being made, the fluffernutter scone also caught my attention, so I purchased it after the fact. It was still the first thing that I ate, though, and I thought it was pretty good. The marshmallow was on top, and while it was sticky, it was a nice addition to the somewhat indulgent peanut butter scone underneath it. The scone definitely packed a large peanut butter punch, although it was on the drier side, even for a scone. After that I was able to try my coffee and thought that it was pretty flavorful. The coffee itself was bold and came through strong and beautifully. The butter and brown sugar flavors were a bit muddled, though. If anything, the extra creaminess, which almost felt like a silky cream, was probably the biggest contribution from the butter. My wife did enjoy hers, especially the chocolate and coffee flavors coming through. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. I love that Meadville has this charming coffee shop, and I will be back for both coffee and baked goods.

The first two things you'll notice is the excellent mid-century design of the sign outside (some are inside too - keep an eye out) and the exceptionally friendly greeting upon your arrival. There's no self check outs or disgruntled big box store "greeters" here; just genuine local folk who are happy to see you (even us out of towners). For how small the store is there is a wide variety of just about everything you need and then some things that you don't "need" but certainly want, like the donuts. I visited over the holiday and couldn't resist the clearance holiday socks. Who knew?! I found many items that I was having trouble locating at larger, more prominent grocery stores. If you're shopping for tofu you'll be out of luck, but I am willing to overlook that due to the overall charm and convenience. Shopping just isn't like this everywhere anymore. Do yourself a favor and pick up as many groceries as you can all while shopping small and local.
