However, it is far too small, and most times it's hard to find a seat. It's also remarkably busy for such a tiny store, and there's often a four- or five-person line at the drink counter. Pro tip: Drive the extra few kilometres down to Mapleview and visit the Starbucks in the big box plaza with Wal-Mart. It's huge, empty, and worth the trip.

Today in particular was amazing because one of their staff went above and beyond. Bekah is a total rockstar. I ordered a skinny peppermint mocha but they were out of one particular part of that drink so she came up with another formula for me, even running the number of peppermint pumps by me, to get the same flavors. As if that wasn't enough, she also checked how to spell my name! Seems like a small thing but this is genuinely the first time I've had my name spelled correctly on a coffee cup. It was super exciting for me! Wishing I lived closer to this Starbucks so I could be a regular. I've been coming here for 40 years. It's always been a must visit every time we come to Muskoka…read more But what has happened to this beloved bakery??!! The quality of the food has plummeted! The scones were dry. The tarts were soggy and the filling tasted like it came out of can. I ask one of my Muskoka neighbors about it and was told that they moved the operations to a factory bakery in Barrie and freeze all the bakery items. They put a few loaves of scones in the locate bakery's old oven to make it smell like it's baked there not NOTHING is baked there anymore. I'm so saddened by this. If the owner reads this, PLEASE return to the old recipes and bake onsite again.

The pizza buns and bagels are to die for. Daily specials make their already reasonable prices unbeatable. Don't even try to compare these guys to a grocery store's bakery. I go out of my way every week to buy bread, buns, etc here. Thankful we have such a great local bakery!!
