I stopped in for a tea, and was pleased to be offered a loose-leaf cream earl grey. The cranberry and pistachio biscotti was very fresh and a perfect pair for the tea... So yummy. I should note, I never ask for soy milk in small towns (was laughed at one too many times in the past), but a gentleman that came in after me (looked even more "out of town" than I did ;) asked for it... And the women serving, proudly announced she did have soy milk. Impressive. Wish I had some friends up here (hehe) - this place seems like a perfect Saturday night venue to grab a glass of wine and listen to live music :)

What I got was a thick slice of fresh bread toasted lightly with lavender butter and honey. Heavenly! The lavender was very subtle and nice proportion of butter and drizzled liquid honey that soaked into the crispy bread. It was topped with icing sugar, soft serve vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries and whipped cream (not sure if this was made with real cream, we didn't end up eating this part). My only complaint was that there wasn't enough soft serve ice cream on such a large cake. We tried to finish this master piece, however it was just too big for the two of us. I would recommend that you try this place out, they have a patio set up in front of the store I think with 4 picnic tables, and two garbage cans close to the area to get rid of your plates and spoons. There were two people working there, and you can tell they really like what they did, they were very patient with the customers in front of us, who were asking several questions about allergies (as they should). The staff were knowledgeable when it came to the products sold at this little stand along store. The line moves pretty fast, and you could see how much the other patrons were enjoying their orders as well.
