After it was taken over by weeds and dug up by our schnauzer a few too many times, it was time to do it right. Cody came out for an estimate and design consultation. He is such a great guy who explains how it all works, gives you a reasonable number of options (helpful for me to not have information overload), and gets things moving. And for the work itself, these guys work hard and nonstop when the job begins. They show up on time and work full speed from morning until evening to get the job done. They build the patios in ways that work for Colorado weather, and they actually specialize in pavers, instead of a landscape company that doesn't do these types of patios nonstop. Paver patios are not cheap, but they're also not something you should do on your own unless you absolutely know what you're doing. If you're looking at redoing your outdoor space or patio, you should absolutely give these guys a look.

Our assigned project manager, Jeremy, was friendly and very professional, had insurance and license info ready at hand when asked, produced a reasonable quote, and did great follow up. The work crew, Freddy and Rigo, were absolutely fabulous.... Neatly and properly dressed, super courtesy while quietly working with the least amount of noise possible, never yelling or blasting music or slamming things around, and they were industrious throughout the day despite the 100 degree heat. These guys were very respectful of the property, demonstrated attention to detail in their work: measuring twice, using levels to make the wall perfect, were careful when moving equipment and product, and when using tools/machinery. They also cleaned up the job site... cleaner than when they first arrived! They didn't damage any plants, and left not a trace of their presence. With other companies and contractors, I have found water bottle caps, candy wrappers, cigarette butts, trampled flowers, bark kicked out on sidewalks, manufacturer stickers/labels laying around from products used or installed, nails or stains left on various surfaces; but this crew of Little Guy Pavers was just the opposite, and just excellent! I put on my shoes headed outside and the poo was stuck to the ice, I had a great idea to spray it with water, that was dumb before I new it it was a pond of crap water with frozen crap still stuck, i happened to be wearing my cons and boy was it slick. You guessed it I landed flat on my back in the crap water. I couldn't stand up cause it was a sheet of ice. So I laid on my belly and waded through the crap water, forget this I got on my phone and found Tony's landscaping, he actually anwered his phone, I told him my problem and he was at my house the next day on time. Juan and his coworker, both very polite, did a fine job, working steadily and hard for at least 90 minutes to get it all cleared out and hauled off. They're even better at landscaping than clearing. The night before they emailed me and said they now had to come in the afternoon instead which wouldn't work since I couldn't be home and work. Then we rescheduled for the following week and the crew once again never showed up for the appointment. I called and they said they had once again moved me to the afternoon without letting me know which I was not able to be here for. Steve said he would try to move other appointments to get us in and never called me back to confirm so I had to end up just canceling. Steve and Carmen were very apologetic and nice about it but it was truly unacceptable service. I tried being patient but to not show up several times for other jobs is highly unprofessional and I would not recommend this company.

Josh had great…read moresuggestions on how to freshen up our outdoor space to both look good and be budget-conscious since we're planning to sell. He was also very communicative about getting our project scheduled (BONUS: he was able to get us started sooner than originally planned). His crew is some of the nicest people too. My son was running a fever for the few days they were working on our yard and they asked about how he was doing each day (one gentleman even asked if he could pray over him which was so unexpected and nice). They are considerate of your space. At the end of each work day, they sweep up and consolidate their tools to one area so it doesn't feel like you're in a construction zone. The finished product is very polished and well done. When there were things I wanted adjusted or trimmed a little bit more, Josh was very agreeable and happy to oblige. And yes, I was that high maintenance client who had a request to add more flagstone AFTER they were done and they were so great to get a team out the next day to make that little addition. And how often does a project come in under budget?? Was nice to see that they are very precise in what they do. After the project is done, Josh takes measurements of the actual work and adjusts to actuals which made our project come in a little under budget (yay!). I would happily work with them again!

HIs team of landscapers were early, worked hard during sun and rain, and they took time to clean the sidewalks and streets every night before leaving. The estimate was well written and Joshua kept us up-to-date every day on the progress. We had old grass removed, and old cottonwood tree and roots removed, rocks cleaned and weed barrier replaced, bushes replaced, sprinklers replaced and metal edging added. The final product was better then we could have imagined. Denver Tree and Landscape is an outstanding business because of Joshua and his great team of employees. We are excited for him to work on the back yard projects soon. Thank you for what you did for our front yard!!!
