I purchased a 2017 Yukon Denali from Tim Short Ford of Hazard and had it delivered to my home in Georgia. I was reassured by my sales representative vehicle was in very good condition. At delivery, the vehicle already displayed a "Service Suspension" warning. Within approximately 30 days of purchase, the transmission failed and required major repairs. Since then, I have also been faced with additional suspension-related issues and other costly repairs. I contacted the dealership several times to discuss these concerns and provided information about the problems. I hoped the dealership would work with me toward a reasonable resolution, especially given how soon the issues appeared after purchase. Unfortunately, I did not receive the level of assistance or follow-up I expected. I understand the vehicle was sold as-is, but customers should be aware that my experience involved significant repair expenses shortly after purchase and a disappointing response when I sought help. I recommend that anyone considering a purchase obtain an independent inspection and thoroughlyreview the vehicle before completing the sale. This review reflects my personal experience. read more

Had my vehicle there for almost 3 weeks with check engine light on. Had a camshaft position sensor light on and it was under warrant. they said it threw 2 things, the battery and camshaft sensor and it was probably the battery and they cancelled the check engine light and it has not come back on. I took my vehicle home after paying 431 dollars for a battery and the next day the light came back on. So i know they cheated me by buying this battery and not changing the camshaft sensor. I went to another place and had the machine put on it and guess what, it was the cam shaft sensor so i will never buy another vehicle from them and will not take my vehicle back there. I do not recommend this company anymore and me and my husband (RIP) were faithful customers. read more

This dealer KNOWING Created Serious Risk of Injury or Death by selling a vehicle that they themselves were AFRAID to drive summary..... Today ,,Over the Phone I purchased a 2007 Ford Escape for 4700 dollars plus fees to be delivered to my home. The vehicle was paid for in full. A short while later the salesman named Wes called me back and stated that the drivers were unavailable do to some insurance issue??? ? huh ? and that I would need to come and pick the vehicle up. When I got there Wes the salesman met me outside and handed me the key and asked me if I would like to test drive it before I signed the papers. So with my wife beside me I went to test drive it. I never got out of the parking lot because I KNEW the vehicle was unsafe for public road use . When I parked it , I looked underneath and saw that the rear frame was rotted in several places and the rear axle was not properly connected and falling out.. Then the Salesman tried the bait and switch move. I asked to speak to the manager and he refused to even apologize my my inconvenience. Since I left this dealer today the vehicle has been lowered in price but the public is still being preyed upon. Again this vehicle will Kill someone by means of mechanical failure all in the name of profit. Tomorrow I will be initiating a Criminal Complaint of Wonton Endangerment in the first degree with the Perry County Sheriffs Office and I have absolute proof at this moment that they don't care about the dangers they are creating by selling a car unfit to drive because the car is still for sale . They just lowered the price by about 1500 dollars I will also be initiating a formal complaint with the state to revoke this dealers license in an effort to further protect the public. I will testify under oath the facts I have have stated and I hope that if you have had a problem with his dealer that you also act in good faith to protect your community. My husband and I called about a car at 930 am their time (we are out of state.) We worked all morning to get my car ready for trade in and even sent pictures for it to be traded in. We spoke to them about delivery to our home in 2 days. We worked with finance regarding what monthly payment we wanted. After them pulling my credit they called with a Rate and I asked if I could call them back after discussing with my husband. We called back after 5 minutes of discussion and they said that the man in finance I spoke with was out of the office. We waited about an hour and called back again and they said they had sold it. What a load. You have the audacity y to pull my credit and affect my credit score and then sell it to someone else? Terrible sales and customer service. Incredibly disappointed and angry that we wasted our time and it cost me points on my credit score. Do not go here. They aren't honest. read more

Only reason they got one star is because I'm forced to give at least one before posting. The worst experience I have ever had with any Ford Service center. My truck was broken into while in their possession. I had dropped it off with them for the night to get my front brakes replaced, returned the next day to pick it up and my door handle was broken, they got it fixed but I had to pay for it. At this point I was unaware that the dealership had a break in. It wasn't until about a week later after bringing my truck home, I noticed my toolbox lock was busted and various tools were gone totaling about $1500-1800. I then called the dealership, which I had to do a couple times before I was informed that someone had stolen from multiple vehicles on the premises and the guy had been caught. I have called dozens of times since and gone in trying to get information about the case with nothing in return. If someone at Tim short sees this, please be aware that I have also sent a copy of this review to The Ford Motor Company so they can hear about how you run your businesses. Purchased a used vehicle here in January after searching several dealerships. After correspondence with the salesman via phone and text. Made several inquiries as to condition of the vehicle before agreeing to purchase and have delivered. I was guaranteed by salesman no dings, dents, or scratches. I was unable to drive the 2 hours to dealership to assess vehicle because my vehicle at that time needed a transfer case. The vehicle was delivered on a Saturday in the snow, was covered in road salt and we were unable to see the true condition. The following day I had to go out of state due to my mother being ill. We did not see the dents and scratches until we were in Louisiana and had washed the vehicle. Called the dealership and spoke to the manager Chris who said he would take care of it. I did not return to Tennessee for more than 3 months after burying my mother. When we contacted Chris he said he would call his guy and setup a time and day to have the vehicle brought in, Never heard from him again. He won't answer or return our calls. Don't buy from this dealer, they are very dishonest. Tried to contact the owner and was told by the receptionist that she didn't have any contact information for the owner, didn't believe that for a second. If you have an owner that doesn't care, you will have sales and managers that don't care. read more
