I had a knee replacement and chose Tim Soder Physical Therapy for physical therapy. I'm very glad I did. Everyone was welcoming, from the front desk to the physical therapists, PTAs and staff. When I started my knee was very stiff and I did not have the endurance I had before the surgery. By the time I was discharged from physical therapy, my endurance was back to pre surgery levels and my knee was much less stiff. I'm able to do all the things I enjoyed before my knee replacement. My spouse had physical therapy at three other places, and never had the great experience I had at Tim Soder Physical Therapy. This place is awesome every person who works here is super friendly , knowledgeable & so helpful. I have been coming here for a couple months now for herniated disc ,scoliosis & persistent pain overall. I feel that I have become stronger already & that I will only go up from here. After spending time with another local physical therapy clinic my orthopedic surgeon redirected me to Tim Soder. At that first clinic I wasn't happy with the treatment or the physical environment. The therapist was not providing the movements my orthopedic surgeon recommended and the office/therapy room seem to always be in chaos with clutter everywhere, patients and therapist getting in one anothers way and everyone talking over each other. It was anything but therapuetic! Tim Soder's Therapy is just the opposite. The environment here is clean, calm, and very relaxing, with plenty of room to move around. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. Brian is an awesome hands on therapist and although my therapy can be painful at times, I always feel better after seeing him. I just wish I could take him home with me! I am also grateful for Cierra, Owen and Emily. They are especially patient and respectful of my injury, my exwrcises, and my healing process. There are several other staff members (actually everyone) who make me feel special although I can't remember their names. But I cannot forget Kayla and Lauren who are the official greeters when I walk thru the door. They are always there with a bright smile and a good morning salute. Nicole, front desk receptionist, was always very helpful and organized when doing my schedule. Im on call so that makes it difficult to set plans, but she was patient and figured out how to make it work so I could get back to being healthy and active. Broderwick is the best therapist ever! Second time I have used Tim Soder's facility. 5 yrs ago I had suffered a tricep injury that had to be reattached. My surgeon recommended Tim Soder. This injury was very traumatic and very concerning to me. Did not know what to expect. Calvin Wang was my therapist. Calvin was very professional and worked diligently to rehab my tricep. When all was said and done, I regained 100% function in my arm. Never would I have thought this could have been possible. Current time: Sustained a back injury resulting in surgery. The insurance company had sent me to a different facility. I requested TSPT. This was approved. Once again, I requested Calvin. If you have an injury, take it from someone with injury experience, you can't go wrong with Calvin. All of the team members were excellent. Always felt comfortable there. Only con with the facility. This time around, it seems as if they no longer do a one on one. Maybe this is a new philosophy. If you have a specific therapist that you trust 100%, you should be working solely with them. read more

I've been to several different physical therapy factories on town and thus one is not much different. Ido like the therapists and the facility is clean and well managed. If there was one thing I could say that would give a fifth star, it would be to accept less clients. I don't know if its a scheduling deal or just too many people but a little more one on one time would separate this therapy factory from all the others. read more

There are two locations located in the city : Southwest and Henderson. I had treated at the Henderson office, off of Horizon Ridge Pkwy and Eastern. Having to work in a doctor's office, I've observed other physical therapy places (i.e. how they answer phones, answer our questions, handle our patients, etc) and I don't think anyone can compare to the quality of care Tim Soder Physical Therapy offers and provides. Being treated for a recent MVA, I've felt comfortable, professionalism and sincerity from ALL the staff! The athletic trainers / techs are helpful throughout the therapeutic exercises. They stick with the individuals until they feel they can exercise on their own. They take their time in showing each step or exercise and are very careful with each individuals' capabilities. The therapists are also so great! They provide treatment with comfort and relief. They also show their vast knowledge in the human body and what treatments they are doing. The front desk, trainers, techs and therapists are all so friendly, caring and funny! I can't be thankful enough for the help they have provided. Physical therapy is a slow, but sure process in getting better and Tim Soder PT makes an easier place to do that. read more

So far I have only been there once, and I was extremely impressed by everyone there and their facility & how clean it was and how they have tons of equipment in perfect condition. I'd say i felt like I was in a spa/gym with a personal trainer. Seriously though, I am super picky as I have had terrible care before at the hands of other medical professionals or have had to deal with a great dr. that had a horrible staff and front office workers etc. And so I did some research and saw this place had great reviews and so I chose this place and am 100% content now. The physical therapist I saw was Calvin and he was so easy going and made me feel like I was at a place that knew what they were doing and were gonna try and fix me up. He spent a lot of time during my initial exam making sure he knew exactly what was wrong with me before we started excercises and then when we were done and he had one of the PTAs takeover to show me some excercises and stuff, Calvin was still attentive and watching, and asking how I was doing every so often which I definitely appreciated. I'm gonna be honest, I have a rule where I never trust any assistants or people that dont have more than 10yrs experience and that is not including on the job training lol..which is one of the main reasons I chose this place as Tim Soder and Calvin both have more than 10yrs experience according to my research..lol..(sorry guys, I had to investigate!!)however; I did allow Calvin's PTA to takeover and show me excercises and he was great. Very knowledgeable and good at his job. I will have no issues with any of the PTAs there if they all are attentive and check up on me like they all did on my first visit, and I'm sure they will continue to do so. It was just an all around great experience. Oh! I almost forgot to mention how impressed I was with the girls that work the front office! They are the most professional medical staff I've seen in a while. Seriously. Very attentive also, extremely friendly, made conversation here and there, gave me little updates about whatever they were doing with my paperwork or referrals etc., it's just little things that shouldn't be a rarity but is these days, and it was nice to see Tim Soder and Calvin cared enough about their patients to not just hire the first person that applied or a friend with bad customer service skills..LOL..clearly I've had way too many bad experiences ELSEWHERE. This place is AWESOME and I cant wait for my next appointment! Oh! They also have a pool there, I cant wait to use it for therapy. I will post an update as to how I feel about this place after I have several visits here or in a month. But so far, I'd reccomend you all to try this place if you are needing PT, or just need a nice gym that's not packed with pointers of excercises by actual professionals! read more

I just finished 2 months with Tim a Soder PT. I am a retired RN, and had an injury on a recent trip. I was unable to walk correctly, get out of a chair, walk up stairs and walk any distance! Before going to Tim Soder for physical therapy I had gone to another therapy place for 4 months after having bicep and rotator cuff surgery, and my progress was far from where my surgeon and I thought it should be. Three times a week for 4 months, the therapist had me doing only 5 exercises, stretched my arm, and I was out of there in 30 mins. It was extremely frustrating watching other patients, who were much older than me, doing so many more exercises than I was, and watching their progression each week. My surgeon and I had both agreed that changing therapist would be beneficial, so he had sent me to Soder. They were able to fit me into their schedule immediately, and after my evaluation, they had me stay, workout, and doing exercises that had not even been introduced to me by the last place. Needless to say, I became extremely emotional realizing that my progress would've been extremely better if not completed if I only had only known about Soder sooner. I have only been to Soder for 4 sessions so far and EVERYONE, from the physical therapist, the assistant therapists, and massage therapist have ALL equally showed their support each time I've been there, and it has been even more inspirational watching them interact with other patients, and having other patients becoming inspiring to me. I've been a gym rat since I was 15 yrs old, and now in my 40's, I've been working at one of the busiest pools on the strip for the last 9yrs. eight hours a day, five days a week, which has literally been my workout and kept has me in optimum condition even in my off season, so not being able to work 1/2 my season has taken more of an emotional toll on me than anything else. Everyone their "gets" my mentality and understands how helpless this has made me feel, and without it being said by them, it's an issue that is also worked on as a part of my therapy there by each staff member, which makes me incredibly grateful. Great place to help recover from surgery and preventive physical therapy. I highly recommend this Tim Soder Physical Therapy for all your needs. The physical therapists (especially Jessica) care how you are recovering and make you feel welcome. My first visit was for evaluation with PT. I started exercise for my torn rotator cuff same day with PT Assistant. The PTA would set/start the machine and walk away to the desk or other clients or to chat with co-workers. I had no idea if I was doing the exercises with correct form or not. I told them I was having difficulty doing some of the exercises right away. By my 3rd visit my neck muscles were super sore. I did the exercises I could, Then had message therapy and ice. By the 4th visit I was having headaches so bad I couldn't sleep. I had been complaining all along. I researched for myself at this point and found that bad form creates the condition. Of course. Made sense. Needless to say find a Physical Therapy group that supervises your treatment more closely. read more

I have been to physical therapy before in another state, so I knew what to expect heading into therapy. Unfortunately, nothing was right about this facility. I wanted someone to take my back problems (a herniated disc) seriously and work hard with me to correct them. I am young, and I was willing to put in the effort, but no one really seemed to have the desire to spend any time working with me. While I understand that no one is going to be at my side every moment that I am in therapy, I expect more than ten minutes (literally) of time with an actual therapist if I am going to be in the facility for an hour and a half. For the vast majority of my 7 visits to this facility I was left to my own devices, doing simple things that I could be doing and home (calf raises, riding a bike, etc.). And, the stretches that I was asked to do (not by the therapists, but by techs, who are not educated in PT) were not explained to me, so I did not know how I should be correctly stretching to avoid injuring myself further or actually potentially help myself heal (my massage therapist had to actually explain their stretches to me when I went to see her - I was doing most of them wrong). Between stretches, I had to proactively go find a tech and ask what to do next, because they were always busy talking among themselves, watching TV, or otherwise entertaining themselves. It is also pretty important that, if you're working in a PT facility, you have an actual education and degree in PT. Tim Soder has an abundance of techs (ie, "assistants" who are on-the-job trained) doing the majority of his work. Because I had concerns with the way my therapy was being handled, I have consulted a number of therapists who have confirmed that this is not how a therapy business should be run, and professionals in this business don't have a lot of respect for those who hire techs without therapy degrees to work with their patients. In summary, most of the staff members I encountered were very nice, but I would not recommend this place if you're looking for a great professional environment to help you get back on your feet quickly from an injury. read more

To be perfectly honest, I was not expecting a positive outcome out of Physical Therapy (PT) based on my overwhelmingly negative previous experience several years back. I thought that most PT practices were slacking it, as I did not see the science behind it, nor did I find a practice with credible health professionals with the professional ethics and integrity, at least at the several practices I had previously tried. As far as Tim Soder is concerned, however, I was impressed as soon as I set my foot in their extremely clean and well kept-up facility. Starting from the office, Chelsea and Nicole at the front office always go above and beyond to assist with scheduling and all the accompanying bureaucracy. They are always courteous, professional, respectful, and fun to interact. My initial diagnostic appointment was with Calvin, one of the owners, who is an extremely knowledgeable medical professional with the best bedside manners. He is very caring and patient; takes the time to answer questions in an intelligible manner; educates you; and involves you in the healing process as a partner! I feel like I am empowered when I am informed and when I actively participate in the process. Otherwise, it feels like I am a passive recipient with no power. The entire team at this practice indeed visibly care about your healing. I feel very comfortable going around and asking questions. Especially, when I do the assigned exercises, I want to ensure that I am doing everything right, instead of passively repeating the sets! Thus, I would like to acknowledge all the team members--Lizzy, David, Sierra, Alex, Carlos, and others whose names I cannot recall (apologies you guys!). Thus far, I have completed 8 sessions and I can feel the improvement. They never push anyone to do things hastily so that they can see more patients! I am really grateful to have found Tim Soder's PT! The professionalism and dedication are constant and consistent; it is in the air! The place is always squeaky clean and feels upscale and inviting! In choosing a physical therapy clinic, I had many choices within a short driving distance. After hearing great things about Tim Soder's clinics, I found that his Henderson clinic is only 12 miles from my home. All along my intent was to try it out the first time and then decide between another one even closer to home. Prior to treatment I visited the clinic to fill out paperwork and test the driving distance. Already, I became apprehensive about the driving time. I hit traffic and the 12 mile drive took 25 minutes. Factor in the round trip plus the time spent in treatment and it started to seem out of hand for my tight schedule. When I drove there for my first scheduled appointment, I decided to just come right out and let them know it wasn't going to work for me. The way Calvin and the staff handled me convinced me to stay. I received quality attention and care from educated professionals. Rob has certification in "dry needling" known to reactivate dormant muscles.
