My second visit here, unfortunately! I encountered an insulting and unhelpful front desk person who told me that they would not be able to help me for several months. They also have a mandatory "teeth cleaning", before any exam - even if you have had your teeth cleaned recently. It's all about money and not customer care with these people. I've been a patient of Timberline Dental for eight years and I've never had anything less than stellar service. I (luckily) don't require anything other than normal cleans, and Jenn is the best. She's so friendly and gentle, getting my teeth cleaned is like just having a chat with a friend. Jenn has helped me took control of my dental routine to have the best health I possibly can. Just moved to Williams 4 months ago and needed to set up a new dentist contact. Passed Timberline Dental office many times so since it was so close to my home, I thought I'd give them a try. Very happy! Front Desk, technician and Dr. Brandon so nice. Luckily no problem with my tooth so my husband and I will be back for our teeth cleaning. I had an appt with Timberline dental as a new patient. My appt was at 3pm and several appt reminders requested me there 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. I arrived on time, and began completing pages of paperwork. The last few pages clearly outlined their attendance and tardy policies which included charges and needing to reschedule for being late 10 minutes and beyond. I completed my paperwork and remained seated in the waiting area until 3:20. My appt was at 3, I was there at 2:45. I watched as others entered after me and were taken back before me. I heard all about staff member's sons going for driving tests, parallel parking mishaps, laughter, more laughter and lots of conversation. At 3:21, I approached the receptionist and stated that my appt was at 3 and it was now 3:21, asking if it would be much longer as I had more on my schedule following this appt. She shouted to someone in the back, asking her if she had grabbed my chart to which a girl replied yes. She asked why she had not called me back yet and immediately, the door opened and two women in scrubs were standing there. They did not warmly welcome, nor did they say anything. They appeared annoyed that their conversation had been interrupted and just stared at me. One technician waved me over to step up to a machine I had never seen before and asked me to place my head on the chin rest and bite the clip at the head post. She then backed away a safe distance and immediately began scanning me without placing any type of lead protection on my thyroid or torso. She then asked me to sit down and finally tried to be personal by asking me how my day was. I told her it started off great but that it was now behind schedule. She didn't apologize, but asked me to sit down and placed lead on me. I asked her what the initial scan was and she said it was the first phase of a series of xrays. I then asked her why she had not provided me any type of protection for the first scan and she replied "because it was just a little bit of radiation." I replied that even a little bit of radiation is unsafe- which she proved by stepping far back and out of reach herself. She seemed annoyed by my questions and rudely asked if I wanted to talk to a doctor since "it appeared I wasn't going to let her get any work done." Excuse me? I work in health care and I understand the importance of professionalism in explaining what you are doing and why you are doing it. Not only for the patient's comfort, but to allow them the autonomy of choice. Not only did she have poor communication skills, but she was angered by me attempting to be treated with clarity and professionalism as I have been accustomed with my previous dentist. After she snapped at me for the third time I asked her yes, to please speak with the doctor and she rushed away with attitude as she threw down what was in her hands. The vibe was so high school and stuffy in there and I was already running late for my next appt so I just got up and went to the front desk to request my appt and new patient file to be cancelled. As I was doing so, I could hear the technician pleading her case to someone behind the wall. She was not summoning the doctor as she had suggested, she was pleading a case of he said she said to who knows who. Not only was I taken back late, there was no apology or kindness to make up for it, rather annoyed staff who don't understand the importance of humanity in patient care. The office offers an open floor plan, and voices are pretty audible there so unfortunately HIPPA policies were broken on first visit. No problem, happy to take my business to a practice that practices what they preach, with some professionalism and dusted waiting rooms sprinkled in. read more

Timberline Dental is one of the best dental offices I've been to in my life. The atmosphere is professional yet laid back and everyone makes an effort to get to know you and inform you about what is going on. My wife is not a fan of going to the dentist and yet she has fallen in love with this dental office. It will be hard or us to find an office in Phoenix when we move. We have had teeth cleanings, cavities filled, root canals and crowns here. They have all been successful and the doctors have made sure to follow up with us. Dr. Dawn is so professional and cares for each one of her clients and Dr. Brandon is a great dentist who makes you laugh as well... The Dental Hygienist makes you aware of what you should do better but not in a condescending way. The assistants are skilled and often quite funny. Santana is who I've been with most and she is hilarious and very kind. You should go here. read more

I was visiting Flagstaff from Los Angeles for the holidays and had a terrible ache in my wisdom tooth. I found Dr. Brandon's office through my insurance and gave him a call Monday morning. His staff fit me in same day AND within an hour! SUPER ACCOMMODATING! Dr. Brandon took the time to thoroughly explain all the available options and had his staff show me all the maximum potential costs before I had an anything done. I ended up having the tooth pulled with ease and haven't looked back since (it even came out cheaper than he quoted). Dr. Brandon is an awesome (and handsome) dentist! Terrible service they just keep making me reschedule my appointment or try to cancel them they don't want to do any work

When I went there for a checkup, they told me I had 3 cavities, I needed a deep cleaning and some other stuff and the bill came to over $4,000. I decided to get a second opinion so went to another dentist and they told me I had NO cavities, and it would be under 2000. So either they are incompetent or they were scamming me. I moved to Flagstaff a few years ago and was cringing at the idea of finding a new dentist and hygienist. Dentist offices are already not my favorite place to be. I found Timberline Dental and I've never questioned my decision. The staff is incredibly pleasant. Dr. Brandon is super detail oriented, kind, and doesn't encourage you to go through unnecessarily expensive and/or painful procedures for his gain. My favorite hygienist is Ashley. Finding a gentle yet thorough hygienist has always been a challenge for me, but she's absolutely incredible. Not to mention, she's super personable. I had a tooth chip while on holidays. The dental staff fit me in and sorted out my tooth by 11am. Everyone was polite and professional.

Took my son there, after doing about $300 worth of out of pocket dental work, at the next appointment I was told he had 10 more cavities. I told them I did not believe them, and took him to a different dentist in Flagstaff. I did not tell the new dentist anything about what Timberline told me, and the new dentist said my son's teeth were very healthy and he only needed a cleaning. NEVER go to Timberline!!!!! read more
