If I didn't get her when I phoned she usually called me back by the next day. Once I got my puppy, Kris was always there to get me through some questions I had. I keep in touch with another family that bought their puppy through Fall Mist Ranch as well. That family talks to Kris on a daily basis and has also visited the ranch a couple times as well. I understand that every situation is different and I'm sorry to hear your puppy came to his or her new home sick. But, I will not second guess my purchase of a dog through Fall Mist Ranch and possibly one in the future!

Cackle was quick to help me cancel and reorder with the correct breeds. Shipping: The chicks shipped on June 3rd, and delivered to my local USPS in California by the following afternoon- much quicker than I expected, thankfully! What arrived: There was a heat pack in the box, along with some sort of green nutritional chunks. Cackle sent one extra chick for each breed I ordered, which really eased my mind. Chick's condition: All arrived alive!! One looked fatigued upon arrival, yet by day 3 she was healthy and running around with the rest of them. They are 3 weeks old now, and all are still thriving, no casualties. Overall a fantastic experience with Cackle. One small downside was the amount of pasty butt during the first week. While Cackle is not accountable for this, I was not prepared for the amount of pasty butt I'd have to deal with, likely due to the stress and temperature changes these babies experienced during shipping affecting their stool. About three quarters of them got pasty butt, and I spent between 1-2 hours cleaning them off for the first 4/5 days. I suppose this is something to be mindful of if you're planning on ordering chicks online as well. It's manageable, just a bit time consuming for the first few days. Thank you Cackle Hatchery!! We ordered 15 Guinea keets…read more Upon arrival, we found 19 were shipped. 6 were already dead, three more died before we got home (20 minute drive) and two more will not make it. These keets were put into one side of an oversized divided box with no heat pack. There was no damage to the box and the birds were dry so the USPS did their job. The surviving birds were all huddled together on top the dead ones and were cold to the touch. I called them and they really couldn't care less and offered a "partial refund" but weren't able to tell me how much it will be. For a company that has been in business for as long as they claim, they sure failed on this delivery. Do better Cackle!!! Update..... all dead less than 18 hours later

Not only was one of the workers rude but they also had a betta fish in a vase without any filtration system or heater. I've had betta fish in the past and know they require a minimum of 5 gallons for a tank, a heater, and a filter. They also had a reptile that was emaciated. I could not give them my business with good conscience as they are improperly caring for their animals.
