Then, with Charlie in finance. Again, very quick and uneventful in the finance office that made it a breeze. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. Finding one that is honest, as well, makes it like searching for the holy grail. Corinth Exhaust is somewhat of a misnomer since this business started out specializing in replacing mufflers and exhaust systems which is still a specialty. In addition, they now do all sorts of general automobile maintenance and repair including the difficult stuff with electronic sensors and check engine lights. I've found Gerald Wegmann, owner and proprietor, to meet all the qualifications I listed above and I recommend him highly as do many other Corinthians if you ask around. The major complaint that you'll hear is it sometimes takes a little while to get to your job. I didn't list anything about being quick, you can't always have everything.

A friend and I went riding in my 4WD and at the time it had street tires on it. I made loops in an…read moreunplanted field. It wasn't muddy but in the dark I didn't see a mud hole and slipped off into it. Without mud tires I couldn't do much to get out of it. I made a call to Hammond Wrecker to see if they could pull me out. They assured me they could and then quoted me a price. We agreed to the deal over the phone and they would be out within 20 minutes. Well, the mud hole was a little bigger than I realized, as the wrecker became stuck. We took turn about pulling each other out a little bit at a time. The driver gave up and called another wrecker to come get us both. The next wrecker came in and began working on the other truck and after about 20 minutes of struggling the second wrecker blew his engine. Of course they have to call a third wrecker to the scene. This third one was a diesel burning monster. It took very little effort on its part to snatch all of us out of the predicament. When it came time to settle the bill, the owner just shook his head and said, "I told you over the phone it would be $25.00 and I'm going to stand by that". They may have changed the policy after that encounter. I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again if I need help.
