I walked-in to have links taken from my watch band. There was one customer in front of me but I was helped immediately and quoted a price while the owner was finishing the watch he was working on. Soon after, one side of the band was released from the watch to determine three links needed be removed--my watch fits perfectly! In addition I was shown a micro adjustment I could make to my watch. The owner and young lady at the front desk are pleasant and the owner was very knowledgeable about my watch and brand. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this shop. If you are questioning having a lux watch adjusted outside of an AD. Don't hesitate going here! read more

Then I got home and realized it was a little tight, but came back this morning before work to have one link put back in and he did it with no questions or issues and was really quick as well. Went to 2 other places trying to get the battery replaced in my Bulova watch. Neither place could get the back off, and they wanted to charge me double their quoted price because of the 'expensive' battery in the Bulova. The gentleman at Time Shoppe replaced the battery in less than 5 minutes, and set the time and date to boot, at a very reasonable price. He was courteous and personable. read more

I went there for a watch battery. I brought in a old watch I wanted the battery for but the guy told me that the battery was in there too long and it had leaked all over inside. So I had my current watch with me (that also needed a battery) and had them replace the battery in it The guy changed it fast and a great price! As I was paying, he told me he could fix my old watch by taking out the parts that are damaged from the battery leaking and replacing them. He told me if I wanted to do that it would cost me $60. Have gotten my watch battery changed a few times here. They carry a small selection of watches which are quite pricy! They have a decent price on fixing and changing watch batteries. Especially since they are one of the few places to take care if Fossil and other unique watches. It's expensive to have them remove links from watch bands. And they do keep weird hours. Owner could be friendlier but is overall great at what he does especially if you don't want to drive up to Omaha or pay the outrageous jewelry store prices. read more

I LOVE coming here for all my watch problems. The man who owns and runs the store knows his stuff extensively! He is amazing with repairs and other types of fixes. I always go here for battery replacements; which are very inexpensive and fast (ie: $7-8, compared to one time I went to a kiosk in Gateway Mall for a battery change. Great shop. Knowledgable staff. Local. Need I say more? I was in the market for a new watch and had pretty particular ideas of what I wanted (which did not include The shop's primary supplier; Seiko). One day, I decided to stop by and ask a few questions. The owner is extremely knowledgable as is the staff. I was able to tell them EXACTLY what I was looking for and he found the perfect watch and band for me. Yes, the selection is a bit limited and the prices are not as low as you will find online. But, I was SO blown-away by the knowledge I gained and the service I received. If you are looking for a cheap discount store with a huge variety, this is not for you. If, however, you are looking for a great LOCAL shop with knowledgable staff, this is the best one I have come across in Lincoln. read more

The Time Shoppe sold me a watch band that broke the third time I wore it. They did not offer to make it right. They replaced the crystal on a watch that had belonged to my now-deceased father. It was of great sentimental value to me. The repair was not done right, and the bezel and the crystal fell off the watch while I was running errands. When I returned to the Time Shoppe, they suggested I contact the manufacturer of the watch to find a replacement bezel. The Time Shoppe took no responsibility for the watch no longer being functional. They didn't even offer a refund, condolences or an apology. I sat in my car and wept. Do not trust a watch you care anything about to this shop. read more

I have used Time Shoppe twice now, and will not be going back. Once to fix a broken date wheel and second for a crystal replacement on a dive watch. Both times, the man was uninterested in helping me, and reacted like I was wasting his time. When I picked up the dive watch, the timing bezel would not even turn. I was told to "try to turn it in my spare time and it would free up." He obviously didn't know how the watch is supposed to work. Diving bezels turn very easily. The bracelet clasp also no longer worked smoothly and was hard to open. I only assume he took that apart while working on the rest of the watch. It should have been right before he told me it was ready. Unfortunately, there are not many options in Lincoln, but I will be going to Omaha now for any repairs. He might be able to do battery changes okay (which I think anyone can do, frankly) but I wouldn't trust him for any actual repairs. And now I have a watch that needs fixing for more than it originally did. read more

I'm surprised by the previous posts as I have found Dave to be a true craftsman. He is so busy that he doesn't have time to small talk with customers, but that doesn't make him aloof. He gives an honest quote so a person has the opportunity to opt out of repair. He changes batteries, removes links etc. while you wait and there is usually a line. I'm a regular over there since I have a watch fetish. read more
