They have a couple of very interesting displays of colored stones, including a good selection of rainbow sapphire jewelry (want a bracelet displaying all the colors sapphire comes in? How about a ring? earrings? a pin, perhaps?), a couple of other interesting stones (blue zircons; morganite) and a case on the wall with turquoise in blue or orange tones and carved vases made of multicolored jade from Taiwan. Owner is very personable and apparently owns a part share of a cutting service in Thailand; he can tell you all about where the different kinds of gems come from. Some pearls; he didn't have any South Sea black ones out but apparently he does them. Also stocks men's jewelry and watches. All jewelry repairs done in-house. Not your standard run-of-the-mill designs; we visited a more standard jewelry shop afterwards and it really suffered by comparison. Prices reasonable for what you're getting.

In practice, this is what you should know before you make the mistake of walking in through their doors: AAA will NOT accept many types of items you bring to them--no clothes, no vinyl records, no luggage, no goose calls, no sewing machines, no electronics older than 2023 as just some examples--and those items they do accept, they give you 1/3 VALUE BASED ON THE LOWEST "SOLD" LISTING THEY CAN FIND ON E-BAY. Let me put that into context for you: If you had an item worth $200-- Say, a 43" flat-screen TV (2023 or newer)--Then, at most, AAA PAWN would give you $60 for it, but even then that's wishful thinking , because they'll find an Ebay listing for that same TV sold on EBay for $150, and you'll be getting 1/3 of $150. So they'll give you $50 for this hypothetical TV, then turn around and list it for $150-$200. If you are looking for a quick way to sell guns or jewelry, THAT IS THE ONLY REASON you'd ever bother with a pawn shop. Otherwise, SELL YOUR ITEMS ON FB MARKETPLACE or on Ebay.
