From the start, the process felt rushed and careless and Rylie had a nasty attitude. The extensions were installed with excessive tension, improper placement, and zero concern for the health of the natural hair. Within days, my daughter experienced intense scalp pain, breakage, and noticeable hair loss. Instead of enhancing her hair, this service destroyed it. She now has uneven patches, weakened strands, and damage that will take months--if not longer--to recover from. Her suite is in the Phenix Salon Suites on 76th street, just south of Olive Garden. She has her own private space, which is awesome. It's nice to not have the hustle and bustle of an active salon going on around you sometimes! Occasionally, she will have 2 clients in the room at the same time, for instance, while a color is processing on one and the other is getting a haircut, but this doesn't happen regularly. She always has an assortment of beverages available, she has great music playing through the bluetooth, and is forever in a great mood. I always have a great time in her chair and look forward to seeing her. She gives a great head massage when she washes your hair, and I swear I've almost fallen asleep more than once! Prices are reasonable and about what I would expect for the services that I need. She only does hair, so no manis or pedis or aesthetician work, but you will still feel great and definitely look great walking out. The salon decided to upcharge me because I have textured, natural curly hair. Oh and they topped that off by saying my styling was a new " level" so instead of the base $35 cut it was now $65 plus the $20-40 upcharge because I don't have soft, straight European hair. Let's not forget the color that ran another $65 plus texture upcharge. Never again
