I got a nice haircut but eh was it worth the price? Not really. I am kind of finding a new hair place and i thought i would try this place out. It is very nice and clean and i really liked my hair stylist. She was very comfortable. I think it made me feel funny for the tip. I have always tipped 20 percent at my old hair place for the ridiculous amounts they charged me. The hair stylist held out the iPad with the three options 20%, 25%, 30%. It was awkward and i was going to tip 15% but that didn't leave me a choice. My last salon went through a price "refresh" and i was always willing to go along with it. I understand the cost of living but unfortunately nobody seems to understand i dont get my money refreshed. Nice salon if you have the money read more

Hair color appoint with Claire. I've never had to write this type of review, however I hope it will be helpful to Claire as well to future clients. My hair was light brown with a little copper and small amount of gray roots showing. I wanted to warm it up with same color. I sent photos per Claire's request and mention roots were show some gray. When I arrived I showed photos again and tried to share my concerns , however everything went south. She wouldn't let me get a word in and talk and talk about her knowledge of color. I should have gotten up and left, do to her carrying on about her knowledge and no interest in letting me talk, however I did say over and over no red at all I wanted what had in color. (I'm fully aware color may be off, due to what product brand she was using) Color brand was a challenge for her to talk about. My hair is now cranberry with hot bright roots!!! I never ever wanted any red in my hair. When mention my roots were hot bright red that she didn't use brown as you need to cover a gray root, her behavior was so unprofessional and rude. Also mention the cranberry hair color which is awful and not even close to what I text and photos I had not to mention the color that my hair was. Claire does not know color and is immature as well as unprofessional. I ask her to correct it. I was told to make an appointment and she'd due a complementary fix ! Excuse me know professional would let anyone leave with an error that they made. She does own anything. Finally ended up telling me to go to another salon!! Claire doesn't realize she my rent the chair in the salon, however her action and behavior reflection the salon and the type of stylist they rent too, Her immature and unprofessional behavior and unwillness to own her errors as well of not letting her clients get a word in only hurts her. Hopefully this review will enlighten Claire to learn about integrity -professionalism- manors- to continue learning about hair color, showing respect to her clients - stop talking above them - owning her errors. Hopefully my review will open her eyes. read more

Stylist Shelby Jordan is amazing at color. She touched up my dark roots and refreshed the blonde to the perfect bright tone that I was looking for. It was my first time working with her but I I'm impressed that she was able to lighten my roots and get everything the same tone. Book her, you won't be disappointed. read more

The decor and atmosphere of this salon is the best I have ever seen - just look at those pictures. It's tucked back from the sidewalk a little bit and has the cutest storefront and patio, too. They have an easy online booking system for some of the stylists and it will text or email you reminders, which is great. Parking is easy on the side streets. I have seen Alexis for years and she always just GETS IT. She is super skilled and all-around great person. I highly recommend her. I have gotten approximately 1.2 million compliments on my latest haircut so she's definitely doing something right. read more

Kathy gets my haircut and color right every time and really takes her time. You can tell she has a lot of experience and has been educated extremely well. Diana does the best waxes in Milwaukee. I've never felt more confident about my brows until she shaped them perfectly! She has an amazing attitude towards her work and is so willing to accommodate her schedule for her clients. read more

Jaime at Honeycomb is fantastic! She'll listen to what kind of look you're going for, advise you on whether or not it's actually going to work with your hair (a must for someone like who doesn't really know a thing about hair), and absolutely deliver. She knows what she's talking about, and knows what she's doing! The space is awesome - "shabby chic," without being shabby at all. If I could give this salon 6 stars I would and they'd stand for A-L-E-X-I-S!!! While I'm sure all the stylists are great, she is the reason I write this review. I have always been pleased with her cuts! She is always on time and fun to talk to. I really look forward to my monthly visit! Once I was late and she was able to give me a cut anyway without making it seem like I inconvenienced her although I'm sure it messed up get day a bit. Melody has been my hairstylist at Honeycomb Salon for several months now and she does a good job at at cutting and styling my difficult-to-manage, thin and wavy, shoulder-length hair. She delivers on everything that I ask for and at a modest price. Location of the Salon is convenient too -- it's right across from Bayshore Mall. Jamie is a goddess! I had such a great time at Honeycomb because of her. She listened to exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond on my hair. My hair looked gorgeous and felt soft. I cannot recommend Honeycomb (especially Jamie) enough. I went in for a balayage and cut and I came out so pleased. I'm so happy I went there and I will definitely be going back. This is a very nice salon in Whitefish Bay. Jamie is my long time stylist but all of the ladies who work here are extremely talented and passionate about their craft. This is a salon filled with so much talent and truly the best of the best. I've been coming here since they opened and seeing Cheane. She's incredible with my hair. She knows what I want and is already thinking it before I even tell her. I like to change things up frequently and I love that she's cool with it. She's so relaxed and easy going. A few months in, my favorite esthetician Diana came on board and is just incredible with brows, makeup, lashes, waxing... you name it. She is THE BEST! I'm not sure why there aren't more reviews for Honeycomb on here! I was a little nervous making my appointment because there weren't too many here, but I'm so glad that I did it! First, I was able to schedule a cut and color for the very next day when I booked, which was great because I tend to put off doing these types of things. That was the first good sign. When I went in for my appointment I was greeted warmly by the staff and enjoyed a coffee from them while I admired the lovely decor and atmosphere of the salon on one of the cozy couches. Ashley, who did my hair, came out promptly and took time to talk to me about what I was looking for, and my regular routine. I have to really credit her for listening to my very vague ideas about cut and balayage colors, and encouraging me with my ideas. She also took the reigns and chose a tone of blonde that looks great with my natural hair color and skin. The cut itself also does really nice things for my face, even though she was able to keep a lot of the length! She continued to give me opportunities for input throughout the process as well! I've already booked a follow-up appointment, and am so delighted to have discovered the Honeycomb and Ashley! read more
