This was a wonderful experience all around! My family rented the Aloha Moonwalk for our son's birthday party, along with the bubble machine and ride-on bouncy horses. Everything was a huge hit and soooooo much fun! At no additional charge, Time to Play generously gave us extension cords and some extra gear (including cones to make an obstacle course for the ride-on horses). We paid only $200 for the moonwalk, as we chose to pick it up and set it up ourselves. Set-up was quick and easy, and the printed instructions they provided were super helpful. Time to Play does not clean or sanitize their equipment. I rented from them for my sons grad party and the obstacle course came dirty with grass, dirty bandaids, lei flowers, and sand all through out it. The middle school I work for also used them for a party and all the blow up stuff also came in dirty. One piece even looked like their was blood on it. I called to complain and all they did was give me $100 off which only covered the fees for the delivery and credit card use. This company will tack on almost $100 worth of fees on top of the price for the rental. read more

Rented a few table top games from Time to Play for Yelp's Greatest Show on Earth. They were fantastic to work with--from responding to emails promptly, to the flexible scheduling in terms of picking them up and returning them, it made one part of a very stressful week VERY easy! If you're hosting a event I would highly recommend giving them a looksee. They rent out tables, chairs, moonwalks, rock walls, tents, DUNK TANKS (!!!) etc etc. Loads to use for events. I've never rented games like that before so I have no price comparison but I found the prices really affordable, especially when you take into account the exciting touch they added to the night. Love that they were classic carnival games too--like milk toss and big mouth clown, added a bit of old timey fun that I really wanted to bring to the evening. If you're looking for little extras they've got those too--bubble machines, fog machines, guitar hero, and airbrush tattoos, etc etc. Just looking at their catalog gives me loads of ideas for things to do at upcoming events. Another bonus? They're not terribly far from my house, which means it's super easy to pick up and drop off. WHOOP WHOOP. Looking forward to getting to use them again! read more

I rented a tent, tables and chairs, some linens, a cotton candy machine and a HUGE water slide- pricing was just as expected, delivery and pick up were communicated in advance and were very professional and efficient. Watch out for this company. I was given a contract for a moonwalk for $160. When I asked about a different moonwalk I was sent a new contract for $40 more. When I asked why did the price go up, I was told they are all $200. I sent them a picture of their website that showed it said $160. The response was, the quote is being cancelled and to have a good day. What a terrible way to do business! This person wouldn't honor the advertised price and was rude about it. If you are going to use this company, be very weary of their prices. It seems as though they can change at anytime. read more

The set up team worked very hard and diligently to place our tent and bouncer precisely where we wanted it. They were kind and efficient. Prices were reasonable. Update: still no response. They do not honor their own contracts. They have kept money that they did perform any service for. Under their own contract 75% should have been returned and they refuse to now answer. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone! read more

Horrible customer service. They did not arrive at the time I was told. My guests were at the party before Time to Play arrived to set up. They said we would be compensated then took the full amount off of my credit card. I expressed my concerns to the owner the next business day and he did nothing to rectify the issue. I will never do business with this company again. read more

Unfortunately I hate to give them only 1 Star because of 1 party and the way it was handled. I have used Time to Play for years and even brought them in to my kids school for a year end event the last 2 years there. We have a large end of the summer party and this year it was bigger than ever. It started off by then showing up late which was only 30 minutes before guests arrived. I had to call the owner twice to find out where they were. That probably would have been ok if we only rented 1 item from them but that wasn't the case. We rented carnival game, 2 inflatables, a rock climbing wall, wax hands. When they arrived they weren't able to get the rock climbing wall up because they said they needed jumper cables which they didn't have. At this point now, guests are arriving. We got them jumper cables and they started scrambling to put up the 2 inflatables. As they were doing that they put the carnival games in the middle of the street so cars could t get by. Then they set up the wax hands and finally finished the set up 30 minutes AFTER the party started. When I asked what happened they said that they were short staffed. Ok...well that shouldn't be a customers problem but now it is because it affected MY guests. We paid extra to have 2 attendants for the wax hands and they only sent one but we still paid for 2. We tried to call on Monday morning to discuss this with the owner and he didn't return our call. Again, we called back the following day and he wouldn't take our call or return our call. Sadly, I have to say that if he just would have taken or returned our calls and resolved this I would have probably looked at this as a 1 time problem and rented through them again. However, after 7 years of renting through them I have moved on and found a new rental vendor. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. Apparently they rent out budget moving trucks in addition to party supplies. We had booked a truck a couple weeks before we needed it, received a confirmation and thought we were all set. My husband flew to Mi from out of state, took an uber to time to play and the doors were locked when he got there. Our appointment time to get the truck was at 1 pm and he arrived a few minutes before then. He saw some trucks but no one was able to give us the truck we reserved. He noticed someone was in the building and when he finaly got the mans attention to come and unlock the door, the man said only his boss takss care of those rentals. The employee said he will text his boss and then he got in his car and left. My husband was left at this place after an already long day with no truck or help. We had people set to help us load our things from our storage unit to the truck and this completely screwed up everyones day. It has been one week since I called all of the numbers listed and nobody has called me back. We will never use them for any rental service and strongly urge people to look elsewhere read more
