Genuinely nice building, and a cut above your average mall. Plenty of upscale shopping, clean and well kept, and it makes for a pleasant escape from the chaos of the streets outside, even if the area itself is thoroughly touristy. I headed down to the basement for the Whole Foods, which is where my one real complaint lives: I cannot believe people do their regular grocery shopping here. The prices are sky high. This is "grab a fancy snack because you're already in the building" territory, not "do your weekly shop" territory. Your wallet will feel the difference. Worth knowing if you're looking for it today: this got renamed the Deutsche Bank Center back in 2021, though the shops and that pricey Whole Foods are all still there. Nice place to wander. Just maybe eat before you visit the grocery store. read more

I can't get used to the new name. Deutsche Bank took over the long-term lease from Time Warner, and the building was renamed the Deutsche Bank Center last year. Even Time Warner changed its name to Warner Media after it was acquired by AT&T, so I guess I have to get used to it like most things I hate. I just think Time Warner has a certain snap to its name and the mass media cachet that a multinational bank simply doesn't. The Shops at Columbus Circle are gratefully still here, especially to people who actually buy stuff, although some of the shops have left like Amazon Books. Thomas Keller's Per Se is still there though it's as unattainable as it's always been. Whole Foods has also survived in the basement because presumably the filthy rich owners of the luxurious residential units above still need a convenient place for their domestics to get their groceries. Jamie W. and I are just grateful the public restrooms are kept in immaculate condition. This is a great place to come shopping. The bathrooms are usually clean. Nice shops to choose from if you are hungry. It is worth noting depending on the time of year the wait time will be longer at certain stores. read more

Beautiful! First of all, clean bathrooms in Manhattan. Second of all, it's so spacious and high end. No matter how crowded it gets, you never feel overwhelmed or claustrophobic. The often have cool sculptures. I believe at the time I'm writing this, they are from Botero. It's worth the trip and a nice escape from the hectic crowds outside by Columbus Circle. read more

I always love coming here. You might asked why? I like the diversified high end store Boss, amazonbooks, Coach,art of shaving just to name a few. I also love the Whole-foods it's best one in Nyc. The produce. Selection is amazing clean and delish. The cook food is clean with many differently ethnic foods to try. (Love the soups) plus I have the Whole food App to experience fantastic discounts. But anyway Time Warmer Center is lovely. It spacious , clean and not really crowed. Best place to hang out with friends/family or to kill time if the weather is bad for Central Park. Where I would come after work to shop, grab a snack, or eat dinner. It's also beautiful during the holidays with its lights! They have a lot of big stores like J.Crew, H&M, Sephora, Cole Haan, William Sonoma, Swarovski, Coach, Michael Kors, Loccitane, Jo Malone, Sugarfina, sometimes Moleskin.. so many that I can't even remember them all. They have Whole Foods in the basement with a pretty good ramen restaurant. Bouchon Bakery is on the 3rd floor (love their macarons!) They also have bathrooms! Finding a bathroom in the city, especially near Central Park, is always a struggle. read more

One of the best views in New York is from the Time Warner Building. It's Columbus Circle location captures beautifully the contrast between the lush green of Central Park and the towering skyscrapers synonymous with the city. The best free views are from the public space on the 4th floor or, if you feel like splashing out, the Mandarin Oriental has insane views from both its park view rooms and public areas. It's expensive but we treated ourselves to afternoon tea in The Aviary NYC, the Mandarin Oriental bar, on the 35th floor of the hotel and the bird's eye views of Central Park and Columbus Circle took our breath away. read more

Have been visiting this shopping center for years, probably since it opened to the public. Throughout the years a few stores have changed and the biggest perk of this center is having Wholefoods in the lower level of the building. This can be a one-stop shop if you're shopping for specific items, may it be house ware, clothes, make-up or groceries. It is always bustling with locals as well as tourists. During the winter holidays they have star light displays that change color as well as lined trees decorated with clear lights. On selected Mondays, during Christmas, there are Broadway performers doing skits of their shows that are family friendly. In past years, they've had a section of the 2nd or 3rd floors available for master card holders, where you can lounge, have a sip, snack or charging stations free of charge. They also provide MC holders with gifts at the customer service desk. There is no shortage of bathrooms, as there are two areas on the 2nd and 3rd floors as well as smaller bathrooms inside Wholefoods. The shops here are limited but is a mini shopping mall in this area, which includes a gargantuan Whole Foods supermarket on the lower level. So many stores to check out here! Most of them are on the fancier side, but there's for sure something for everyone here. Not only that but the building itself is just gorgeous, as there are huge windows that overlook central park. Go to the top floor, where the cafe is, and just admire the view. It's a great place to go if it's raining, snowing, too cold, etc. and you just need a break. Sugarfina is in here as well- one of my favs in NYC! read more

I like this shopping center. It has beautiful stores, Williams-Sonoma, Kors, JCrew, Coach , Ted Baker, Boss, ... a huge Whole Foods occupies the bottom floor. there is some kind of event going on the day I visited, there was red carpet and ropes... On each side after entering, there are 2 huge statues of Adam and Eve, commissioned by the owner from a Colombian artist. My favorite would be the restaurant floor!! Time Warner Center is a shopping mall AKA the shoppes of Columbus Circle.It is four stories. On the ground floor is a complete Whole Foods market. On the main floor are various high end shoppes I have seen in other cities including my own. I stopped inside the Coach store since they carry the full collection here. However, as I have learned from my previous shopping experiences-the Coach at Ross Park Mall can get anything I see there if I wish to purchase and save tax. Other stores I visited were Diptyque, and Ted Baker. There are many shoppes we have at Ross Park Mall. Time did not permit me to check out the restaurants but for the most part it is your typical upscale mall. I was only able to check out two of the floors. It is worthwhile to look around for a visit. Oriental statues greet you as you pass on either side of the escalator taking you downstairs. It is also bordered by NY's Mandarin Oriental Hotel. read more

One of my favorite home away from homes. The Time Warner Building at Columbus Circle is the epitome of high class NY. This shopping center boasts three floors of high end shops including Cole Haan, Coach, and Hugo Boss. Downstairs is the WholeFoods that I always go to for their breakfast buffet. The entire mall really gives the sense of luxury, of beautiful sights to just take in. The entire outside fascade is made of see-thro glass, which only adds to the feeling of modernity. Whenever I'm up here in the vicinity I'm just drawn to this place, mostly to window shop but occassionally even I'll splurge on a new blazer. Just a really nice place to stop in amidst the chaos that is Manhattan. read more

What a perfect place for this location. At the southwest corner of Central park stands two tall blue glass towers with a 3 floor shopping mall and a facade made entirely of glass that allows those inside to appreciate the beauty that is NYC. The shopping area isn't huge, but they do have a standard array of middle of the line stores as well as a few eateries. For the holidays, they put up some very nice hanging star-like decorations in the lobby with high ceilings. It's a must visit in New York given it's location at Columbus circle and also proximity to Lincoln Center. read more

A nice shopping mall in the middle of Manhattan! That is pretty much what it is, if ignore the super high end condos, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Wholefoods and plethora of incredibly high end restaurants. The stores are pretty high end. Kind of like an indoor Madison Avenue: Thomas Pink Diptyque J Crew Sephora LK Bennett Michael Korrs Stewart Weitzman To name a few. H&M seems out of place, but it's there. When I'm in NYC these days I stay in the residences here. Its a great location and close to many things & people I want to see. This facility is amazing. Ive rarely bought anything here because I'm overwhelmed by the number and variety of stores on the floors, but its great fun to go and wander around. Its also not very busy a lot of the time, which is surprising in NYC. You can easily find a hostess gift here if you need one. Or drop into Whole Foods and pick up a muffin for breakfast if you like. Or of course Bouchon Bakery. Yummy things come out of this place. There are world class restaurants here, and world class shopping. And its on the subway. One place really does have it all. There are 4 floors of shops and restaurants and there are apartments that are accessible through a separate entrance. The building is kept nicely and the stores are nice to walk through. read more

And they have nice stores from street to posh you can choose to go on a shopping frenzy or just simply hate all the shoppers inside the store. This small mall is great to hang out in on a rainy day. They have a variety of stores (lots of high end), but they also have a sephora, c wonder, h&m and other fair-priced stores. You can end up here for over an hour just window-shopping. The entire place is well decorated and VERY clean, which I love. Definitely take someone from out of NY to view this pretty mall. Well I work in the buidling so I am kind of bias but this place rocks. TWC is home to many divisions of Time Warner including the corporate offices and the NY bureau of CNN. Most visitors will be looking for either the Mandarin Oriental Hotel or more likely the shops at Columbus Circle which is filled with many high end stores and upscale restaurants. I am a huge fan of Whole Foods and my favorite restaurant in the building is Landmarc where the burger and French onion soup are the best! read more

As we finished our tour of Central Park, we arrived at the Time Warner Center to get a quick bite and relax in a beautiful in-door space. Upon arrival, we walked in and were impressed with this gorgeous mall. This is the first mall that I have been into in NY. Shopping in SOHO or on 5th Ave or Madison on the Upper East Side, all the stores are located on the street. As we broused throughout the mall, we saw great shops such as the Tourneau Watch Store, Hugo Boss, etc. and fabulous restaurants such as the Bouchon Bakery, Per Se, A Voce, and the Porterhouse Steakhouse. As we went to the upper floors of the mall, we admired the beautiful views of Columbus Circle.....the Sun was just setting, so the views were more pronounced as you could see the NY lights around Central Park and the Circle come on. It was very romantic ........another memorable NY moment. read more

It's a very nice building with good views of Central Park, but it mostly consists of high end stores and very expensive restaurants. They used to have a Borders and Samsung anchor stores, but they closed down. The Whole Foods Market down stairs is big but can be very crowded at times. read more

This review is dedicated to their restrooms. I can't use public restrooms unless they meet the following criteria: 1. No smell of #1 (I understand that people do #2 and it will smell for a bit but if it smells like pee-pee that means someone's not cleaning the bathroom right.) 2. No stains on the toilet seat. (Self-explanatory). 3. No "missing." (I'm a woman, chances are if we're using the same restroom then so are you. I get the whole hovering thing, I was taught to do it too. So avoid the dripping, it's disgusting, get a better stand, spread your legs further apart, you know the way you did it last night *wink wink* if that doesn't work then 1. you're wack, 2. clean up after yourself!!!!!) 4. There needs to be TP. 5. There needs to be soap. 6. Hand dryers are better than paper towels... but I need paper towels to turn off the water (if it's not automatic) and to open the door. If there is an automatic faucet then refer to #4. This mall's bathroom meets my criteria and that makes me happy. If you have to go, go here. read more

NYC real estate is a rare commodity. It's perhaps a once in a lifetime opportunity when a big parcel of prime real estate becomes available. So what did the developers of Time Warner Center do with this opportunity? They built a Las Vegas casino mall. What % of NYC can afford to shop here? Less than 1%? Fantastic fuckin' idea. Here's a great idea for the renovated South Street Seaport. Let's make it the world's biggest marketplace for caviar! The MTA rail car depot on the West Side that they were going to use (stupldly) for a Jets football stadium would make for a great spot to dock yachts. Just make sure to allow for rentals so wealthy tourists aren't left out! Don't get me wrong. It's nice they've got some great restaurants/bars in here (and Bouchon Bakery!) but it's not like Thomas Keller or Randy Gerber would've been locked out of NY real estate if it weren't for this development. I'm fine with Whole Foods, Borders, and the Samsung showroom too but they could have found other real estate. Like the architecture. Like the views. But if you're going to build a fuckin' casino mall (or 'forum' as they like to call them), at least build in some blackjack and poker tables.... read more
