Jeff was extremely dedicated to my watch repair. Day hand had detached from dial and was loose inside the watch. Sent it in via USPS with a prepaid return label and box. Jeff soon contacted me after receiving it and was working on it after it arrived. Given the number of watches and repairs outstanding, little did I expect frequent updates via phone and text. In the end, the watch came back to me far better than it went out. I'm totally satisfied with the repair and the amazing "price". My top praise goes out to Jeff for maintaining his high standard of integrity, honesty, and above all dedication to his workmanship. Stopped by the other day for a battery for a watch. The store is convenient to me and the staff are great. They were busy so they took my watch and gave me a ticket, said it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. So I left and ran an errand. I returned and it was ready , no issues at all great price. Extremely Pleased. Brought in a somewhat unique watch that was my Uncle's. This watch has two clock faces that rotate within the exterior case, and it was dead. This watch needed two different batteries, which require that the crystal, the crown and one watch face be removed to access each battery. This was the second shop I brought the watch to, the first (a long time repair shop in town) wouldn't touch it. I needed to fix my wife's watch and had been to numerous locations. Apparently the watch needs a special battery. Even the major jewelry store I bought the watch at was no help. The sales associate immediately recognized the watch and knew exactly what I needed. Their price was reasonable and they were able to help me. While I was there I also had my own watch resized and the sales associate did it in 2 minutes and charged me $8.00. I also did some Christmas shopping and found a new beautiful watch for my wife. I had been looking for this particular watch maker and they had a large selection. Again the sales associate was helpful and knowledgeable. They have excellent service and warranty. I walked into Times @ Hand with a brand new Squale 20 ATMOS Militaire. A $650 automatic dive watch that had never been worn. I asked the owner if he could regulate the watch (because it was running about +20 seconds per day), change the hands to a different style (which I provided), and conduct a water resistance test to ensure it maintained its 200m water resistance after their work was done. He said they could do all that and it would take about a week. The watch was done about 10 days later. The hands looked great and the watch runs at -1 second a day! The owner said he had to carry my watch around in his pocket for a few days and continuously adjust the watch (kinda weird). I am not sure why he doesn't buy a watch regulation machine for $100-200. He said they ran the water resistance test and everything was fine. So good so far! When I got home I realized that the caseback was put on upside down and it had deep scratches on it from the caseback tool. I contacted the owner to see if he could buff out the deep scratches. He said he didn't have the tools but he offered to "make it right". We talked about a replacement caseback. I did the research and it is a $75 replacement part. I decided not to pursue this any further. Times @ Hand is fantastic for what it is. Go there and get your affordable watches fixed, batteries changed, and straps switched out. Go there to buy affordable watches. But do not expect a white glove treatment of your fine timepieces. The owner is great and the staff is friendly, but just walk in knowing you are not dealing with a licensed service center. Do not expect perfection or anything close to it. It is a "Mom and Pop Shop" with all that that entails. With that being said, the owner is willing to do anything to make his customers happy. That's why I give Times @ Hand 4 stars. All in all, I will be a repeat customer, but I will be choosy about the services I seek from this business. read more

Went in for a battery replacement for my watch. They put in a different battery than watch indicates and face went dark. I was told, "The face melted" and asked if I wanted a replacement or the money for a new watch. The watch was a gift so I requested a replacement. It has been 2 weeks and I stopped by the store and found out the owner is trying to replace my new watch by buying a used on from EBAY.
