We are disappointed with the treatment they offered us. We move out of one of their buildings four months ago and still haven't received our deposit. We left the apartment in perfect condition, never missed a payment and the least we expected was respectful treatment. We have gone in person several times but they never have an answer. It's embarrassing to be in this situation, especially when it's our hard-earn money. They deserve less than one star. read more

I recently looked at an apartment managed by time square. I was told unit would probably accept pets but would confirm with landlord. If the answer turned about to be no my app fee would be refunded. So I proceeded with submitting one. After not returning my calls to follow up I find the same unit listed on Zillow for $250 a month higher and listed as no pets accepted. Fee has not been retuned and they probably ran a hard credit check, just to disappear. read more

TL;DR: This was one of the worst rental experiences I've ever had. Not only was my apartment filled with bugs, the leasing agent was dishonest with me about the terms of my lease -- which ended up costing me a lot of money. Their apartments may be cute at first glance, but you should stay away from this company. Now for the long version... The apartment was cute and in a great location. That's where the good news stopped. When I moved in, it clearly hadn't been cleaned; there was dirt, dust, and hair everywhere. Worse, the apartment was overrun with cockroaches and termites. Each day, I killed multiple cockroaches -- and was forced to cover my bed with a separate sheet because when I came home, it'd be covered in dead termites. I had to call Times Square Properties multiple times before they sent people out to "fix it." And it solved nothing. I hired private exterminators to aid in the issue; one said fighting the cockroaches was "an exercise in futility" because of the condition of the house. The other said the TSP workers had nothing to get rid of the termites. The other big issue was mold and MUSHROOMS growing in my bathroom. When I alerted TSP of this issue, they simply painted over the mold (not really a smart way to solve the problem). Throughout my entire time living there, communication with TSP was horrible and slow; I had to send multiple emails and make multiple phone calls before I heard back about anything. By the time they finally decided to tent the house (for the termites), I'd already given them a 30-day notice I'd be breaking my lease. I couldn't handle the bugs anymore. I asked TSP what the penalties would be, since, shadily they're not specified in the lease. They told me that as long as someone else moved into my apartment immediately, I wouldn't have to pay any penalties. Well, that was a big lie. Someone moved into my apartment within days, but a few weeks later, I received a notice that TSP was holding my security deposit for breaking the lease. Within the confines of the law, they have the right to do that -- but I couldn't believe they hadn't told me that when I specifically asked what the penalties were. It was yet another example of them being evasive and treating their tenants terribly. I was shocked and angry -- and am writing this so that every else stays far, far away from this company. read more

I had been patiently searching for the right apartment for a few months and when I came across time square properties Ray helped me find the perfect place! Super friendly, and took his time answering all my questions and showing me multiple locations until I found the perfect one. I had been looking for a few places and went to multiple company's to rent, and time square properties was by far hands down the absolute best! You get a bang for your buck! Great value. "If they don't like you, they don't do s**t for you" - neighbor Man they weren't playing! If you like a sugar coated property management company then THIS is the one for you. Don't bother reaching out for a single thing unless it involves... well nothing. A year now I have rented from this company snd it had been a year of living hell. Coming from someone who does not complain, I deem it necessary to share my experience with this company to hopefully save you time, money, and a horrendous living night mare. The timing has been perfect for this company to screw someone over more now than ever. Since January I have called Code Enforcement repeatedly daily to try and schedule a walk through of this property in hopes of getting them to act on the nightmarish rodent infestation. But I have been informed every single time that they can't do anything because of COVID (but yet we can go out to bars and get drunk right? Absolute BS) The entire building is INFESTED to the extent of me having to throw away my entire wardrobe 3x's (including linens and three beds), sleep is something of the past because you can't help but hear the rodents running in the walls in the ceiling. You can feel them in the flooring, hear them in your cabinets, in the drawers in the kitchen. Imagine going to grab a shirt from the closet and as you go to pull it off the hanger you feel something jump around inside of it. Everyday for a year straight. I have reached out one every way possible stressing the severity of this issue but all I receive in return is a slap in the face. I do %99 of the repairs around this place and am happy to do them but this is one that is beyond me. I message Chet the property manager, he reads the message but yet doesn't even have the decency to respond . I call the maintenance number (absolutely pointless remind you) I never hear back. I had to leave for 2.5 weeks when I first moved in due to severity of the rodent infestation, along with my heart condition that is triggered by anxiety, which could lead to my having yet another heart attack. but couldn't afford to continue to pay for. Hotel room. All for NOTHING AT ALL to be done in the time that I was gone. I ended up having to set up traps inside the crawl space under my porch and catch some of them myself. 13 is how many I have killed . 13!! And yet the sounds continue. The nightmare continues. December last year I had to move my fridge and my stove into my front porch because they were nested inside of the appliances. Leaving no way at all to cook. I make the calls, I send the messages, NOTHING! It's been 5 months now. I reached out to everyone including the mayor regarding this issue, and got no where at all. Finally I was able to file a complaint through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Consumer Services Bureau of Mediation & Enforcement, And finally after all this time I was able to make progress. They contacted this property management company and gave them 30 days in order to even address the issue, but yet they failed to even respond. After 30 days. So What's the outcome? I receive a non-renewal that they tip-toed onto my porch and posted on my door. They have told many people that they Purposely dodge me. Which makes no sense to me at all whatsoever. It's redundant. I've never done anything wrong to these people, they're not the ones living in this hell, and that's the problem here.These people need to be shut down, the treatment is absolutely preposterous, the neglect is inhumane. I encourage you to NEVER rent from this company, EVER. I honestly would rather live on the streets, than rent from these people ever again. read more

I can't say enough good things about this management company. The office staff is helpful, the maintenance team makes timely repairs and fixes things the right way. The buildings are kept clean and noise is never an issue. I am from Saint Pete and I have lived downtown for almost 10 years and this is the best experience I've ever had. I recommend them to everyone. read more
