Our 2nd daughter started shortly after she was born in 2014 and is still there in a pre-K class. Our experience here has been amazing. Our older daughter never complained about going to school, she made lots friends, some of whom she continues to see outside of LGA and finished kindergarten knowing how to read and fully prepared for 1st grade in public school. Our younger daughter looks forward to going school every day and is having similar experience that her sister had. Through the years that we have been coming to LGA, we have gotten to know the owner/director, Miss Angela, and several of the teachers and administrative staff. It is clearly no accident that LGA is as successful as it is. Miss Angela is always there and takes a very hands on approach with every aspect of the school. Any time we have had a problem or concern, Miss Angela was extremely attentive and responsive in addressing our needs. All of the teachers that both of our girls have had took a genuine interest in their well being. They greet the children with a welcoming smile in the morning and they stay on top of their game in meeting the children's needs throughout the day. The administrative staff is courteous and professional and come across as warm and caring to the children - and they seem to know every child's name...very impressive.

I can't tell you a thing about the curriculum (although from the look of the crowd I'm sure it's…read moresome provocative form of free association meets not so free tuition) but last night we went to see a young relative perform in Wardlaw's Spring musical Into The Woods. Rarely, have I witnessed a production so elaborate this side of Broadway. The costumes alone were exquisite and Judging from the logjam of six figure German SUVs lining the parking lot I immediately stopped wondering where such funding could have possibly come from. Considering my own public high school production of M*A*S*H featured Army Surplus Store remnants for costumes and props I shudder to think what Wardlaw's prom may look like... Maybe Justin Timberlake and Beyonce performing live on a levitating platform of pure platinum. Like the bumper sticker says... My other car is a Ferrari. Times they sure have changed. A great show.

My son has learned about so many different cultures and foods. When I am on campus...I feel like I am home. I am forever grateful to everyone at WH for my son's journey...it really takes a village...I'm fortunate to add to mine each year.

Our family was defrauded by Cedar Hill Prep…read more We were promised small class sizes and first-class facilities. When our child started school, it was apparent that they had repurposed an old storage room, and that the student:teacher ratio was far worse than advertised. When we complained about the state of the classroom, rather than do the right thing and hire additional staff, the school administration expelled our child from the school on zero days' notice, despite having no documented behavioral or academic issues of any kind. During the expulsion meeting, the administration admitted to being unable to hire additional staff and _intentionally_ overbooking the class sizes during registration. The founder of this school is obsessed with metrics. If your child represents a threat to one of those metrics (be it student-teacher ratio, standardized test scores, etc.) then they will absolutely throw your child under the bus to make the school look better. Be warned.
