They bring them on community trips, they run a coffee shack three times a week, they bake for events, and the kids there learn that community is most important. I would recommend looking at iea for anyone who needs both intensive reading education and life skills. But those are not the only things they offer they offer education children. There is music education, art education, physical education and health along with clubs that support children's interests. Intensive education academy is truly amazing. .

The end result is that enrollment has suffered and that students who, in years past, would have not qualified academically are now welcomed with their parent's open checkbooks.

The intent was to create a school to prepare boys and girls for college. The original school opened on Main Street in 1803, and eventually became the public high school for Colchester. In 1962, the number of students outgrew the original building, and the school was moved to a new building next to the elementary school. In 1993, a new school was built on Norwich Avenue, and is currently in use. The town of Colchester opens the school for various organizations throughout the year, and I have been honored to speak at various leadership and training sessions there over the years. Even being 23 years old, the school is very modern looking, and in pristine shape. A recent technological upgrade has replaced all the numerous computer towers with thin clients, a major cost savings for the town. It's a beautiful school, and I am happy that Colchester has such a facility in which to educate the future of their town.

The owner (Ms. Barbara) is very flexible and patient. We are very pleased and will be staying for the long run. My kids are confident in their work and we haven't had any issues in their school work. As a parent we want the best for our kids and this center goes above and beyond. Best of all, when a student is done with their work at this center. Ms. Barbara will directly walk them out and personally give you feedback on how your child performed that day and what he/she did well and what areas to improve in. My kids adore Ms. Barbara and look forward going into the center to learn and do their class work! I can see that her best interest is for her students to achieve and that's what we ultimately want for our children. I definitely recommend this kumon center to anyone that wants to have their kids succeed in schoolwork, build confidence and have fun learning.
