Our two year old son has been at Goddards for 5 months. We have been very happy with the school and…read moreteachers. The school is clean, safe and provides many activities for the children's development. We have worked primarily with Miss Tia, Miss Denise and Miss Tanya who have been absolutely wonderful and caring. They were instrumental in helping our son overcome separation anxiety when he started and have all been very supportive. Our son has become very attached to all of them.

Not a school that I recommend. My 2 children went through…read morethis school. My oldest was there for 3 years and youngest for 2. My older one did fine, no problems. The teachers and directors were always super sweet to us. But when my younger son was 2 years old the school had no idea how to handle age appropriate negative behaviors. Some 2 year olds can be challenging but instead of trying to help, they instead tried everything to get us to leave the school and transfer him out. I would pick him up every day and his diaper and pants would be soaked and I would ask "how come no one changed him?" And consistently I would get the answer "he refused." Ummm a 2 year old refused to change their diaper and you are ok with that? Same thing with food. He would not be given his lunch but everything was thrown out daily. Their attitude towards us changed completely. No more sweet, helpful teachers and directors. It was just a very uncaring situation when a child becomes a little challenging. But if your child follows all their rules and never gives any problem (like my older one), they will do fine. We switched my younger one to Joni's down the street (I was hesitant because the building was older and cramped and I hadn't known much about that school). But I am so thankful for the switch. He did amazing and he thrived there with their love.

Any time I want to talk to them, they respond to me within the day if not sooner. They are very transparent about what they do there. The teachers - amazing. My kids love them. We have been with BAL for a few years now and I could not imagine sending them anywhere else. They are up to date on current practices and are constantly learning more to provide the best for my kids. We toured a couple places in the area and this one was quickly at the top of our list for many reasons. First - the staff. When it comes down to it, you want to make sure your kids are happy, healthy, and safe. The teachers are so warm, kind, and gentle. They were willing to work with our existing schedules while also providing tips. Second - the environment. We loved that the infant room wasn't harshly bright and there wasn't any over stimulating toys. The school focused on a Montessori approach that my oldest is absolutely thriving with. Third - the responsiveness. You're are never left waiting. The teachers and staff are so quick to reply and implement. It's such a wonderful feeling to know they are on top of things. Any questions, whether it's about your child's sleep or you have something related to finance, they make you a top priority.

I was told by the director she was concerned about our question about wanting to know the price and how they compare to facilities in the area. She didn't think it would be a good fit- mind you never meeting me, my daughter, or knowing any information about us. She proceeded to say she will have the assistant director email me the packet. It's Tuesday, it has yet to be sent. My husband sent an email with how we were treated and concerns. The director called me, I was not on my phone so my husband called her back. She was rude to him and me on the phone. I would never have my daughter watched by her.

The kids had fun feeding the farm animals. I will have to admit I had fun too. There are all sorts of farm animals, such as chickens, cats, dogs, goats, horses, bunnies, pigs and more. I am a cat person and I enjoy looking for the barn cats. The place is pretty clean for a farm and the kids enjoy the tractor ride. All the employees were nice and friendly. If you're planning a fun kids party, this is a great place for them.

First visit, I got there around 4:40 and they were closing at 5; it was a short trip because I just wanted to get some eggs. The employee said they were closing soon and so was the petting zoo when I first walked in; I mentioned I was going to be quick and just wanted to get some eggs. I didn't know they had a petting zoo so I made a plan to go back again another time. The store was your typical farm stand, they had eggs, honey, cookies, apparel, and various of other knick knacks. They were having a sale, buy one dozens eggs ($7) and get one dozen free. The chickens were laying too many eggs and they wanted to get rid of as many as possible. The second time, I got in earlier in the day and purchased petting zoo tickets; $8 per person over 2 years old/under 80 years old and for an additional $2, you can purchase feed. I highly recommend getting the feed, the animals loved it. The petting zoo was bigger than I thought. There's even a playground with benches and picnic tables. The place seemed clean and the animals seem well taken care of. We saw pigs, llamas (my favorite), sheep, goats, alpacas, peacocks, cows, ponies (another favorite), donkeys, bunnies, chickens, and a black cat.Inside the shop, there were baby chicks, birds, and guinea pigs. There were signs explaining what type of animals, facts, and their story/names throughout. They also offer pony and tractor rides for an additional fee. There's a huge pavilion with picnic tables; you can bring your own food in. Also, there is an Airbnb onsite and people book their weddings there. There are many events hosted there as well; children programs and summer camps are popular ones. My kids and I had a blast petting and feeding the animals. I highly recommend!
