Dr Bui has been our family dentist for over 25 years. He actually listens to our issues and tells us what causes the issue, then develops a treatment plan. His office staff is professional and welcoming. They are also very knowledge regarding insurance benefits and payment options to achieve our goal of a perfect smile. Dr Bui is very compassionate to his patients. He will do anything within his power to reduce the amount of pain a patient will feel which was a great relief to me, as I needed extensive repair and reconstruction. Dr. Bui is like no other dentist I've ever known. He has such passion for his work and takes great pride in the happiness of his patients. Dr. Bui goes beyond general dentistry, I liken him to an artist. He is very precise in the color and shape of your teeth as well as the fit and comfort level felt by his patients. Its been years since I been to a dentist but Im glad my wife twisted my arm to see Dr Bui. It's difficult to find a great dentist that will listen to your concerns and not tale offense. I recently visited Dr. Bui for the first time. He did a thorough exam and then put together a comprehensive treatment plan to assure my overall dental health. He gave me options and explained everything in terms I understood. He did an excellent cleaning personally himself and removed tarter and other build up previous people missed. He has the most modern equipment and his assistant made me very comfortable and relaxed. I had badly receeded sensitive painful gums and like a sculpture he added a protective surface over the gumline and it looks natural and you can't even tell he did anything. He also does very advanced oral beautification procedures and the before and after photos in his book are amazing yet natural looking I highly recommend you give him a try. I've been going to Dr. Bui for years now. He always calms my fears (I'm a nervous nellie) and he does incredible work. He doesn't recommend anything other than what you need, unlike some. Seriously, the best dentist I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. I never knew dentists could be this awesome until I met Dr. Bui. He really knows his stuff and he explains everything to you step by step so that you feel 100% comfortable. Last I heard, he got nominated for Best Cosmetic Dentist for Channel 13's "Best of LA" show. Yeah, he's THAT good. I've seen some of the cosmetic work he's done (veneers and crowns) and it's incredible. He's transformed some really unattractive smiles into the most gorgeous I've seen. It's proof he knows what he's doing. I went in for a deep cleaning and wisdom teeth extraction. He has two offices, one in Garden Grove and one in Newport. I've never been to the one in GG but the Newport office is so chic and modern (it is NB, after all). The chairs are so comfortable, I'd fall asleep if he wasn't yanking my teeth out. The assistants are really helpful as well. He was very gentle and would always ask me if I was doing OK. I like that he uses the most modern technologies/advancements. It shows me he's still up-to-date in dental developments. The man sitting in the room next to me said it best, "I feel like I have money when I'm here!" What surprised me the most was he followed up our appointment with a phone call to see how I was doing and make sure I wasn't in any pain. I think it's this type of compassion for his patients that got him nominated for Best of LA. I mean, how often do you see this kind of treatment anymore? I truly highly recommend Dr. Bui to anyone who's looking for a quality dentist. I'm telling you now, it's important to get a good dentist. I didn't know before and went to just any ol' dentist; now I have an infection stemming from my root canal that I have to get fixed. A waste of my time, a waste of my money and just a plain nuisance. A local general dentist referred me to Dr. Bui for my cosmetic dental treatment and from the beginning, I knew and felt comfortable that I would be receiving top care. I have been going to Dr. Bui for a few years now and I am happy with his service. He is passionate about his work (sometimes he is so into his work that he forgets to eat lunch) and he takes time to care for his patients. Previous dentists always told me that there was something wrong with my teeth every time when I saw them. Dr. Bui is one of the Best TALKER, and that's all he's good for!! If you just come in his Newport Beach office then you will be impress of the modern office setting, and most of all Dr. Bui himself. He loves to talk, he can talk for hours...until your ears fall off...I have to say he's a very charming man, he has the talent/skill of making his sales very convincing and sincere. I was the fool that fell for that.....that's why I'm here to give this review, if I have a choice I would give a -5 not 1 Star!! If any good review, trust me it would be from his friends, Not patients. He will show you how nice his cosmetic veneer look, but his work is far from the looks. I ended up going to so many specialists to repair the damage he caused. All I can say is Dr. Bui is worst than a car salesman, at least car salesman only sell you bad car, but you still have your health.
