Gasniers hasn't changed much over the years, they've been in Shirley for years although only changed location when the new Sainsburys was built. The staff are not particularly friendly or welcoming. We popped in at Christmas to buy a shopping trolley and didn't receive much assistance at all. One lady can be blunt to the point of rudeness. They are usually fast to serve however and I've never really found a fault with their shoe repairs.

They charge very fairly, the job was to fix my fan and it was done in less than 24hrs and my laptop now works like a dream. I had a secondary, completely separate problem which they diagnosed and sorted for free, despite it taking an hour of their time. They went above and beyond basically servicing my laptop for nothing and just going the extra mile to help me out. My laptop is super old, used and abused and most "chain/branded" places would have written it off or ripped me off, but this small independent company helped in any way they could. It's a standard very much lost these days and so I cannot express how happy it has made me that they were so great.
