One stressed out wanna be chef (Me) on the mountain needed a bit of help with a Thanksgiving feast for Kings. Busy Bee Catering swooped in and saved the day with their "Sides-Giving" offerings fit for royalty! Their fluffy mashed potatoes and gravy were divine. Their chicken apple sausage stuffing was a show stopper, as was the relish tray (as big as a trough for my goats), roasted vegetables and Fall harvest salad topped with sinfully delicious candied pecans. I feel like getting married again so Busy Bee Catering can handle the food. Thank you so much! You'll be seeing me and my hungry tummy again SOON!

They were amazing to work with and so calm and wise to keep this MOTG relaxed to enjoy the events. The quotes were more reasonable than others and food/flavor/freshness/presentation not compromised. I had wanted our son to go with the PDX caterer and Jan & Dani were definitely the best choice. You can't go wrong with them. We also used them at Alpine Events for our rehersal dinner with 52 people and the dinner was fabulous and the event space so lovely and personal for our gathering. Jan & Dani even decorated with the runners/candles/banner and flowers that we dropped off while at the rehersal. I can't say enough about them! Janey

The food was sooooo good. Guests are still raving about it. And they did a fantastic job of both set up and clean up afterwards. They trucked everything all the way to the upper Hood River Valley without any mishaps or loss of quality. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Fantastic food and a great staff of servers. I will not hesitate to recommend them for an event big or small. I have currently been ordering meals from Heather and crew during the Covid 19 pandemic. They have opened their hearts and mad cooking skills to feed those of us who prefer not to cook. A short list of favorites include their chicken wings, thai noodle salad, her cedar planked salmon, veggie trays. cheese charcuterie spread ... oh her devil eggs, and her lox and meatballs and those little puff pastry doodads and pork loin and oh jeez, all of it. Originally we were looking for something along the lines of pasta and salad but then we found Sugar's! My family is big on meat as my dad is a meat cutter as well as my wife. We thought that Sugar's BBQ would fit in perfectly. The great thing about Sugar's is you get to customize your menu. They have many types of meats and side for you to choose from to make your meal perfect for you! Once we got closer to the date Sugar's BBQ check in with us to make sure how many people we were expecting, the time for when we wanted to serve food and also how we wanted to lay out the buffet lines. On the day of the wedding Sugar's BBQ was early and they set up in a timely fashion! The food was AMAZING! We had left overs as well that we took with us on our honeymoon. Overall Sugar's Barbecue did a great job and we absolutely loved it.

Everything from the towel size to the clear bag listed online made getting through security easy and helped us get a prime spot. The concert itself was great. Lighting, sound and the vibe of everything was fantastic. We were disappointed with the vegetarian options available for purchase inside the concert venue. An overpriced baked potato and a store brand veggie burger felt subpar compared to other food options. Unfortunately, we could not bring food from all of the pubs and bars into the concert venue so it made it a little difficult. You really have to enter 2 hours before the concert to get a good spot, meaning you are there during dinner. That being said, the concert was great. The location is fun to walk around and includes a golf course, outdoor dining, and lots of little pubs and secret spots. The food is typical for McMenamins and the art both inside and outside makes it a unique Portland experience. My favorite part of all McMenamins sites is the history for the location. The local historical society was selling a book for $5 that told the history of the site, including its days as a poor house, a jail, and lots of other stories of the past. I would love to go on a historical tour, but for now to stroll the book and walk around the property was a treat. The lines were long because of the concert to get drinks everywhere so we opted for cold brew coffee on nitro at the little coffee cart inside the main lodge. We sipped our coffee and walked around and it was lovely. By

Very good, but it was $16.25 for a 9oz pour...it should be good. The small Caesar with Grilled Chicken was ok. But again, $16.00 is too expensive. I did look further and saw that the Cheeseburger, with Fries and a Pickle Spear is $25.00. No way. My server was Adam. I hope this is a short term gig for him as he was non-existent...which is what I expected. His lack of attentiveness to me was horrendous. I will not return to any McMenamins, as I stated at the beginning, service is slow, food is okay and it has become too expensive.

I recently got to experience the professionalism and expert services of Catering Beyond Borders as…read morethey were hired by my sister and her husband for their wedding in early 2019. Their entire operation was clearly well organized, planned, and detailed. Every individual employee I interacted with was respectful, friendly, helpful, and professional. I was thoroughly impressed that no detail was ignored. An example: The dinner tables each had a set of decorations involving a mirror. Catering Beyond Borders had window cleaner, paper towels, and rubber gloves for each employee to wear while handling and wiping down the mirrors, in order to be absolutely certain that every mirror was spotless for the display. I know this sounds like a small thing, but I feel it is attention to all of these small details that added up to a superb event. The wedding planner, Esther, was a fantastic organizer and coordinator. Any time one of us had a question, she had the answer. When necessary she would not hesitate to delegate tasks to someone else on the team. She was also exceptionally calm and collected throughout the entire process. The lead bartender, Kyla, was knowledgeable, professional, and flexible with the provided beverages. We had a unique scenario for a few of the kegs as they had a different type of connector than the industry standard, and she took it all in stride and there were no problems. I have been a bartender for a number of years in my past and I was thoroughly impressed with Kyla and the other bartender's efficiency and professionalism behind the bar. I did not personally get a chance to meet the head of the kitchen staff, but I did witness him constantly communicating with his team and keeping everyone on schedule. The food itself was also wonderful and there was plenty to go around - many other guests mentioned to me that they also sincerely enjoyed the food. To reiterate, I am completely and thoroughly impressed with the entire Catering Beyond Borders organization and their professional skill and talent for catering and coordinating my sister's wedding. I am not yet married, but I can say with certainty that when I do and am planning a wedding, Catering Beyond Borders will be the my first call for catering and coordinating services. Thank you!
