He said he would check on it and get back with me. Now for the good part: I called him a week later, and he said he had proof that he replaced the rear shocks: according to his records, he ordered and received the parts, and they are no longer in the shop. That proved he replaced them. He refused to accept responsibility or listen to reason. I do not think he will be in business very long. I had the dealership change the shocks. SLOPPY WORK: We have…read moreused Green Oak Tire (GOT) for our passenger vehicle's tires previously and always had a positive experience. We LOVE supporting mom and pops. So, of course we turned to them again when we needed new spring/summer tires. Hubby talked DIRECTLY to the tech who did the work beforehand. When we got home, hubby noticed that one of the 4 inner rings that goes on the snow tires (which GOT removed as part of the work) was missing so he called and asked where it was. No response although a day later the answer became obvious when we took my car to an event and hubby noticed something was 'off'. So on a hot, humid day in a parking lot that wasn't really set up for car repair, he jacked up the car, pulled the tire off and voila, there was the missing ring from the snow tires, exactly where it should NOT be. He didn't have the appropriate equipment to remedy this situation on the spot, which never should've happened, so we had to wait until the following day where he had to use a torch and some tools in our driveway to get the ring off. Also, the new tires were improperly inflated by GOT. Manager Kaleb's response to such incompetence has made us lose confidence in GOT, a local business we once entrusted our vehicles too. Sadly we will NOT be back. We were not offered any credits for our inconvenience or the work WE had tp perform to fix THEIR mistakes.
