I needed my right axle, both front shocks, transmission/engine mount, transmission seal, starter…read moreand radiator fan replaced. After getting my shocks replaced I started hearing a noise coming from the right front tire, I brought this up two or three times to the mechanics, well he didn't actually inspect anything just drove it around, then told me the shocks were settling, which I did not believe was accurate. Finally yesterday afternoon I took it and got an inspection done at Firestone and the mechanic at Firestone indicated they did not think the transmission mount was replaced or the other strut was replaced either and he did not push my axle in all the way. Firestone told me my car is extremely unsafe and to be very careful when taking right turns. I sent the reports over to the mechanics to which he initially would not address the issues. Please avoid! I paid for services that were not completed. The mechanic in question was Yandres. Now mind you, they did finally come out and fix the issues but it was only after I threatened legal action. Seems to me like the mechanic was pocketing my money and not replacing parts. It never should have gotten to this point, they should've done what they needed to do and it would've been fine.

I would hear the rattling for a few minutes till the vehicle warmed up, then it went away. The 2nd time it happened, the transmission had difficulty leaving park and going into reverse. I called the Lincoln dealership in Savannah as the owner of this mobile service made it clear, he was not interested in continuing our relationship based on previous interaction. JC Lewis Lincoln said the transmission was 2 QUARTS LOW on transmission fluid and that the procedure for post startup and lubricating the planetary gears didn't seem to be followed, which I can confirm, the vehicle was NOT driven per the Lincoln dealership requirements. It is now obvious to me, that the Lincoln Procedure for transmission fluid flush was NOT followed and it is probable that the tech did not know what was required and by extension is NOT CERTIFIED to work on a Lincoln. I am fortunate to catch this HUGE and unacceptable mistake and have it rectified before severe consequences. CAUTION: BUYER BEWARE.

Broke down on the side of I-95 in my 39-foot-long RV towing a full-size bronco. When Good Sam failed to find a provider in the first two hours, we searched and found Tim's Towing. Originally thought we'd need a dolly tow based on the profuse amount of black smoke coming from our rear axle when we pulled over, but instead they dispatched Chris to assess our situation. He quickly identified an air leak causing our brakes to lock down, hence the black smoke! Once we built up enough air to free the brakes, he guided us to an old weigh station nearby so we could await a mobile mechanic. While I'm sure they would have towed us anywhere we wanted to go, they didn't provide that as the only option. Instead, they got us to a safe place to await a mobile mechanic, assured us they could tow us safely if needed, and refused to charge us to get us off the road. The next day Chris even texted when he realized the RV had been moved from the weigh station to make sure we had made it safely home. Couldn't ask for better service and we certainly felt like we were more than just an invoice. Highly recommend this company! read more

Today SPD received a call from a young lady who resides In Atlanta Ga. who said her car had been towed by and unknown company as she was attempting to pay another company to tow it to a mechanic. Before entering the vehicle as stolen I began to check with local tow companies. A phone call to Tims Towing led me to Mr. Dale who told me he had received a previous call from the car owner. Mr. Dale said if you can Get the picture of the tow truck from the doorbell camera he would use is 20 years of experience to locate it . Well the car owner sent me a photo and I sent it to Mr. Dale and I'm less than 3min he responded with the name of the company and the vehicles whereabouts was uncovered. I had an outstanding experience with Tim's Towing, and I couldn't be happier with their service. My car had a flat tire in Savannah, GA, and I needed to be back in Jacksonville, FL that same evening. I called Tim's Towing, and the phone receptionists were incredibly helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. They quoted me a fair price for the flat-bed and gave me an estimate of when the truck would arrive, which was 1.5 to 2 hours. The flat-bed truck arrived on-time, and the driver, Mike, was a friendly, professional, and went out of his way to make sure that I felt comfortable during the ride. Tim ' s Towing is awesome. I've had to use them at least 5 or 6 times in the last 6 months and I've always received good quality service. Their drivers are polite and clean which is a plus with me especially since I'm a female and had to ride with them. They are very respectful. As a mother I'd feel safe calling Tim ' s and allowing my daughter to ride alone with one of his employees. Their response time is also the fastest out of all the towing companies I've used in Savannah. I'm working on a VIP membership at the rate I'm going!!! Last night we needed a tow for our Mercedes' RV and were given Tim's towing number. They were very pleasant and helpful on the phone and got a tow truck on the road to get us in a very short time.
