They were scheduled to come out at 8 am this morning. We have had this appointment since they did not appear the previous week. Today, they were a no-show no-call. We called at 9:16 am and were told the guy was meeting with a supplier and then would be here. We called back an hour later and asked to speak with the owner. Kimberly raised her voice so much so I could not comprehend what she was saying. Then she hung up on me. After calling back to leave a voicemail for Richard Anderson, the owner. Kimberly then called back 3 times.We answered the 4th call, she disputed the fact that she yelled at us which indicated that she listened to the voicemail. Then she hung up again while I was trying to explain the issue. No one bothered to call and tell us that no one was showing up. We have to make preparations in order for contractors to do their work and make sure we are here. People need to take time off work and move their schedules. Ultimately, our time was not respected. The employees are typically great under most circumstances. However, Kimberly just totally surprised us with her behavior.

I was out on the road when the ac went down. Every ac company was booked for a solid week or more before anyone could come out to the house. Then I called Ricks Comfort solutions. They said they could get someone out the next day, but to my surprise they called me back shortly after I had gotten off the phone and they had pulled some one off of another job and he would be out shortly. His name was Manny and he went above and beyond and was very informative and knowledgeable about everything and was a huge help. Theres nothing like being on the road and your family at home with out ac in the middle of this summer heat. So thanks again to Ricks Comfort Solutions and Manny for there excellent service.

Then a week later, I accessed their chat function on their website requesting contact, and a short time later received a text saying they would be in contact shortly. It's now 5 days since I had received their SMS message and I still have not received a reply. Apparently they have too much business and can't be bothered with contacting me." I received this response on my Google review from Privett: Response from the owner 13 minutes ago "Obviously we weren't interested in hearing your sales pitch about how you can make our business so much better. You went through a chat function that responds automatically which we quit paying for months ago, so we aren't sure why it even responded. If you being contacted by us so you could try and sell us your product or service was so important than you could have made the effort to come into the office or been smart enough to pick up a telephone and give us a call and try to set up a meeting. People like you who sit behind the protection of a computer screen and give a business a review based off wether we engage with your sales pitch is pathetic and spineless. We have been in business for over 25 years and worked hard for our reputation and the reviews that we recieve. Its unfortunate for people like you to leave a 1 star review for something like that. You can take your review and shove it." To anyone taking time to read this review, here is my response to the negative reply to my review from Privett Electric LLC. My email was sent from their site, stating I live in Causey, NM and asked if they serviced the area, and if so I would like to see about an estimate for new lines running to a silo and barn area, as well as additional outlets at the house. NEVER did I try and "sell" them anything. If I had sent my email from my own email client I would have supplied a screenshot to let everyone see exactly what I had sent. I challenge Privett to upload a screen shot of my email to them. To Privett: Don't try and Photoshop it either, upload the exact email I sent you. Regarding not coming to their office or calling them: Privett Electric (https://www.privettelectrichvac.com/) provides a chat function on their site (see screen shots) and still does as I write this response. They also still provide a simple form on their website if you scroll down to the bottom of their home page to email them. If they only want you to call and can't be bothered enough to respond to email, then remove the form. And in response to coming to their office, I live over 30 miles away so that isn't exactly convenient for me, hence why in my email I asked if they covered my area. And it's totally on them for having a chat/sms option on their website that they "quit paying for months ago." They need to have their web designer remove it if that's the case. And this is directly to Privett regarding your response: You could have responded by apologizing for not returning my email in a timely manner and that you actually don't monitor the chat/sms function on your site because you no longer pay for the service, then requested that I please contact you by phone for a possible estimate, etc. I could have then updated my review to state that fact. However, you chose to attack me and wrongly state I was trying to sell you something by providing a "sales pitch". You either have me mixed up with someone else or just completely fabricated what I sent you in an email. On top of that, you called me pathetic and spineless. As a former veteran and retired police officer, trust me when I say I would have no problem telling you in person that you have very poor customer service. I won't resort to name calling as you have, but I do hope anyone looking for any electrical work in the Portales area reads this entire review to make an educated decision before choosing an electrician, as there are as I have now found great alternatives.

    Does anyone know how to report a business to the Better Business Bureau?…read more Warning: Avoid Zia Mechanical Services (a plumber) at all costs. Seriously, people NEED to know about this. I don't want anyone else to go through this. -Charges ridiculous amounts in interests -Pressures you to pay extra in cash at his property, not offering a Zelle/Venmo/anything else besides checks which we don't have -Refuses payments when you try to pay -Then threatens to put a lien on your house and charge extra fees if you don't pay "by the end of the day" -Tries to get you to leave the cash in the mail box promising a receipt "later through email" He gave us an estimate in writing and we paid him $1000 up front, but he told us we could pay the remainder the following month. Nowhere in the estimate did we have anything about a due date or extra fees, nor did he mention it in person. I even have a text from him saying we could pay it in equal amounts over 12 months with no interest. I got another invoice with an additional $390 interest fee one month after service was rendered. I tried to pay him the original amount and he told me to get off his property, refusing payment. He pressured me for a few hours to pay him the additional undisclosed fee by the end of the day or he would put a lien on my property in the morning. Finally I agreed. When I showed up to pay, he SAID HE WASN'T HOME and we could deal with it tomorrow. This was less than an hour after his threats. Finally he told me to leave the cash in his mailbox and told me he would email me the receipt later. When I refused, he threatened a lien again and hung up. The only way I got out of this one was to pay in person in cash with witnesses present. Extortionate, unprofessional, unacceptable Is there a 0 star option?

Zach called…read moreimmediately - asked a couple of questions then told me the claim would not be paid through AHS, but that I could hire him directly - $210 travel plus $150 / hour. I contacted AHS - and they said they would take care of it. Zach called shortly thereafter - said the claim would be paid and he would be here at 9 am the following day. 9:20 he had not arrived or called. Did not answer his phone. Finally responded to a text that claim had been cancelled. I called AHS again - claim is open and waiting on contractor to complete the work. Now I'm out my service fee and still have clogged drains.

    I have seen the other reviews on this business and can see that Buddy's has improved their customer…read moreservice since they were posted. We first moved to Clovis in 2022 and had Buddy inspect the house. He was brutally honest on all things that needed fixed and we had the major ones fixed right away. However, this was our first house purchase and we didn't know exactly what to expect from a home inspection. We didn't realize that part of a normal house inspection doesn't require the inspector to run a camera down your sewer line to make sure that it is open and to ensure that the previous owners didn't do things to get the house sold because they knew he wouldn't check. (Long story short the air conditioner drain line was clogged, causing the air conditioner to dump water on the floor). We have used Buddy a few times since living there and, while he is hard to get ahold of directly, he now has a secretary that schedules everything for the business. The first time he came out in mid 2022, we didn't know where the filter was on the old A/C unit. He found it right away and it was completely clogged so we assumed that was why it was dumping water in the floor. A few months pass and it starts dumping water again. We call a few different people (not Buddy) who tell us the Air conditioner needs replaced completely. Fast forward to our move out and we call Buddy, whose apprentice diagnoses the problem as a clogged drain line and cleans it out. Turns out that was the problem all along. A few months prior to our move out, we paid Buddy just under $5000 to have the sewer line (that had been giving us issues since the moved in) replaced. His team was there within a day and had the job done within 2 days. It drains perfectly and they didn't make that big of a mess. I know this post is long, but the tl;dr of it is: people change. Buddy's business has improved immensely since the past reviews and they do very good, quick work. Home inspections don't typically include sewer line cameras or A/C system deep dives. Just ask the inspector and they will probably do it.

    Buddy did a home inspection for us in Clovis. We were out of town buyers. He was supposed to…read moreadvise us of any issues. When we moved in, we found that nearly all the plumbing was shot. Galvanized pipe that had all collapsed in on itself. The water wouldn't run through the pipe at all as the supply lines were totally clogged, it also wouldn't drain. We've had to pull up the floor and replace drains, replaced all the interior plumbing with new etc. I'm sure he knew the house was in horrible shape, because he's married to one of the women at the real estate office. He's either totally inept, blind or a thief, you can decide which. There's no way he couldn't have known these issues. Do not hire this guy to inspect anything for you. He shouldn't be allowed to work. You are throwing your money away giving anything to him.
