    Beautiful sports complex park

I was running some errands in Apex and decided to stop by for my daily walk. The parking lot is huge and wraps around the whole park. Although, there was a lot of parking; the park is quite boring with a huge soccer field, a small basketball court, a baseball stadium, and tennis courts. Also, a small play area that is closed for the time. Other than that, there's not much. I was hoping for paved trail that wraps around the facility. The closest thing were side walks. This would be a great place for a walk on a not so busy day but I would avoid it if there are events going on. Overall, super clean and well-taken care of!

    Happy Birthday Sal!

What a beautiful stadium! Lots of covered seating (for just $1 more) in the shade or kept dry. Even huge fans to attempt air circulation. Great views of the field regardless of your seat. We were here celebrating Sal's birthday. This is the mascot Sal the Salamander. For $10 more it was all you can eat crappy ball park burgers and hotdogs, bags of plain ruffle chips and pre-popped old popcorn. Very limited toppings--basic condiments only, don't look for a slice of onion, tomato or lettuce. Came with all you can drink warm Pepsi served up by two overworked teenagers unable to see the end of the line. So if you're going to do the dinner special, come before first pitch. Beers are cold, not included in the all you can eat special. Field is beautifully manicured. Artificial turf looks great. Lots of free parking in dedicated safe well lit lots--easy in and easy out. Cute competitions between innings to get the kids involved. Great family fun--just not a fan of the all you can eat stadium food. When it's above 80 degrees crank up the fans to high!

My boys have been playing lacrosse for seven years In that time frame they have played in a numerous amount of facilities. Of course we have travelled the state of Florida, but we have also travelled to many other states including North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Vermont. This past weekend my 13 year old played in the Raleigh Lax Fest in Ting Park, located in Holly Springs, NC. This was by far the nicest facility either of my boys have ever played at! For a few of his games, my son played at the 1800 seat multi sport stadium with a turf field. This field is home to a collegiate baseball team and has all the amenities one would expect from a small stadium including a digital scoreboard & sound system, lighting, and bathrooms! Believe me, my boys have played at plenty of facilities where all they had were nasty Porto Potties so I appreciated the large, clean, heated, indoor bathroom! It was so nice not having to put myself on a "liquid ration" because I was afraid to use the bathroom! In The stadium also had a concession stand. My son bought a few items there, including a pulled pork sandwich which was excellent. We were not on the baseball field all day. My son's team also played on the other beautiful pristine turf fields. I did not see them but I also understand Ting Park has eight tennis courts and two basketball courts. Thoroughly modern and comfortable facility....bar has been set!

Watched some high school baseball Sunday. Outstanding field, seats, parking and more. A delightful outing at a great place.

She has a forehand. She has the back and she has serve not everybody does and that's OK but for this session and for this class for the amount of money that has been paid. It should be something along the lines of , helping the kids get better so they could be prepared for the next level. In this case is for her to play high school tennis helping the kids get better so they could be prepared for the next level. In this case is for her to play high school tennis.. they really need to get a little bit more organized to where they do not know what's going on with the students. They have a few teenagers there who help out really just feeding the ball, but for the rest of them, it doesn't seem like they care as much they sit on the bench and rarely give any kind of attraction , sarcastic humor but for a child I don't think that's really necessary. unfortunately, though this is one of the better tennis programs that are in the area and is relatively local to me so until something else can be found or another, we found this is what we're stuck with

The best part was the customer service. We had our 3 year old with us and the staff came out to offer him chicken fingers or a hot dog and fries. My son wasn't complaining or anything. They just offered. They brought him chicken fingers and french fries and these were not frozen chicken fingers. This was real breaded chicken and the tastiest fries. The staff was friendly and pleasant and we didn't feel rushed for a second. One person commented that the staff knew what you needed before you did. I don't usually gush like this but I left happy and well fed with a child that was able to hold out until well past his bed time because this place was so awesome.

One of my brdiesmaids had a 3 year old and the wait staff just brought him out these delicious chicken fingers and fries without them even asking or without him even making a fuss about not waning any of the food! The wait staff also came around individually to the table where my fiance and I were sitting to congratulate us on getting married the next day. Beyond the fact that the place was beautiful, food was excellent and the dessert was out of this world, AND my drink glass was never empty, the people working the event that night went above and beyond their duties to ensure every person at our dinner was satisfied. I could not have asked for more and would recommend Bentwinds to anyone who has a need for an event space!

However, the stadium is quaint, new, and clean. The absolute best part for me was the shaded seating and ceiling fans. For those sun enthusiasts, there is a tiny section left unshaded. They have a big screen that introduces all the home players, AstroTurf grass, wooden bats, and the stadium is well lit when the sun goes down. The mascot Sal the Salamander is a delight; great with the kids and fun to watch. Concessions are adequate for the size of the clientele and they offer the basics of hot dogs, beer, ice cream, and more. The parking was convenient. The lot was large and a short distance from the stadium. If you are in the mood for smaller crowds and a hometown baseball feel, north main athletic complex is a fantastic choice.
