There is a lot of paved parking, one main entrance and two ticket booths, concessions (I could smell french fries), male and female bathrooms along with a unisex/family bathroom. Our field had a small section of bleachers and there was plenty of flat space for chairs and sports bubbles. Sidebar: Our son played baseball from the age of 7 all the way through high school. That's 11 years of us sitting in the wind, rain, sleet and freezing temperatures. Sports bubbles weren't around then so I was fascinated by them and yes, JEALOUS. People had wagons loaded with their own snacks and drinks but I doubt that would be allowed for the Minor League games. Plus, I think concession food helps make the baseball experience even better. They have a large community building which was open for people to use the restroom. They have two play structures and a swing set, all set atop a squish foamesq material. There is also a basketball court and a large dog park. Parking was easy, it seemed like most people had walked or rode their bike there, they are in the middle of a neighborhood and a Greenway stop. One play structure was designed for kids aged 2-5 and the other was for older kids. My son loved the baby swings! We will definitely head back to this playground again soon.

Kiwanis Park is a great place to park and run/bike/walk on the Capital Area Greenway. There's a large covered picnic area capable to seat 36-60ppl with 5 tables, 2 grills, $9/hour to rent but no electricity (Mami Nora's is down the street, so you could take your meal to go and eat it outdoors here!) The park includes a neighborhood center with a meeting room large enough to hold 85 people, rentable for $50/hour (which includes warming kitchen, tables and chairs). Overall, it's a good park, it seems to be a popular place to park and eat lunch on weekdays and a safe place to park and utilize the greenway.

The ProBatter video simulators allow batters to hit against pitchers, and they offer batting cages and camps. Indoor facility perfect for all year long training. My daughter had her first private lessons with Mia who is an experienced and amazing coach! Mia was so wonderful, loved her energy and made my daughter feel so confident. There is a nice seating area for parents to sit and watch. Booking is easy and packages are available.

It's never too busy which is great as the worst thing is to get psyched to play and to go to a public court only to find the courts all taken and having to act like a beggar asking how much longer each court plans which can annoy a lot of people. Unlike the other public facility where you always have to wait to talk to a person (who is usually busy and not their fault), Kildare is in 2020 and has online reservations which make it more convenient to not have to call and wait or leave voice mail.
