Since moving to Hanford, CA from San Diego, CA in JUN2020 I haven't used anyone else to tint my cars. The customer service was second to none, the work was high quality, the turn around was acceptable, and I ONLY live a few miles from the shop. I have gotten my 2002 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 3, 2004 Chevrolet Corvette ZO6, 2012 Honda Civic Si, 2014 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG, 2015 Chevy Equinox LTZ, 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club RF, and 2021 Nissan Kicks SV all tinted here. I'm about to get a 2012 Cadillac SRX Premium I just purchased tinted here. They have yet to disappoint. Eddie is who I go through. Was a bit hesitant because of some reviews but honestly when I called Eddy seemed super chill about every question he was pretty patient with me and booked me a appointment, the place is super nice to be honest I was surprised it had a waiting room and everything. Before they started on my car we did the payment (it was a financing so I filed out some paper work) and I was approved once the car was ready it looked nice to me but I don't know too much about cars so when I got home my dad and boyfriend where surprised on how nice it came out and for the price it was good the tint did come out how I wanted it to and hopefully in the future I get my home windows done and see how that goes because iv only seen car reviews but time will tell read more

My husband and I had our VW Jetta tinted all the way around, they gave us a price of 430. When we picked it up it was 462. Plus we had to bring our car back because they had to fix the rearview mirror they knocked while doing the windows. When we took it back I also had to ask for a receipt because they did not give us one. When my husband picked up the car and receipt, said 433. Not 462. When I called about it the guy made up some kind of bull crap excuse saying the receipt was just a estimate basically. So make sure you know what your paying before you have it done cause they will cheat you. I feel we were cheated out of basically 30$ They did a good job just don't like to be cheated. read more

Have taken all of our cars there to get windows tinted. We pay extra for the life time warranty. We recently had an issue with one of the cars and took it in. We have original receipt and clearly indicates lifetime warranty. The receptionist has horrible attitude and won't help. We had to "get approved by manager" who was not there and would not tell us when or what time to return. Finally went in on a day he was there. He JOSE requested the receipt and said they no longer use that manufacturer and nothing he would do. read more

My son & I took his car at 10:30 this am, There were 2 cars in garage I figure to have their windows tinted, we figured I had a dr appt plus some errands to do , being that we live out of town I figured they'd be done, by 3 pm. Well we were done by 2:00 waited 30 minutes, by that time, we had parked in the parking lot, when I noticed a white new truck , that had not been there when we dropped car off, Needless to say amazingly that truck seemed to have tinted windows!! Which makes me believe, that guys truck was done first, even though the other 2 cars plus our sons were there first. Also you don't get an appointment, which I think is BS! Because then you are not assured a time that your vehicle will be ready. The guy said it would take 3-4 hours. Like I said I didn't buy it, but my son still left car , came home and picked up car at 6ish. Lesson learned will not be going back. read more

Not a customer friendly business. Young lady working the counter has the bad attitude and I almost walked away when she started to help as if she had something better to do. I was the only customer at the counter. I was lazy and said screw it, maybe they'll do a great job tinting my windows, so I let my car there for them to tint. Long story short worse tint job I had over many decades and cars. Then they missed up my interior was as if they just squeegee the soap and water on my panels and seats. Didn't bother cleaning up their mess. Never again will I go back to The Tint Doctor. They are more like ghetto doctors with no class. read more

I took my 2010 Honda CRV in to have the windows tinted a few months ago. They did an awesome job. Today, I took the same car back in to get a new front windshield. Asked them to match front windows to back. Front windows Factory 70%, rear windows factory 20%. Installer says 20% will look good and match. I then tell him I think 35% would be better, he says they cut the 20% out and that I would have to pay for the two sets of tint. Then assured me the 20 will match perfectly. Then later in conversation I overhear him telling a customer they don't have 20% and that it's 35% or 15%. Well the vehicle gets done and the windows in the front are extremely noticeable that's they are a darker shade. I returned and told him I was not happy and that it doesn't look right. They think it's funny and start making a joke of it to the other guy. He tells me if I want it fixed I would have to pay for removal and tint. Refusing to make it right being the owner wasn't there and I can wait a week to have it fixed. Did some research figuring out the percentage the Front at 15% tint over 70 is now around 10%. Meanwhile 35% would have been 24% making it the perfect combination. Called them again and asked if they have changed there kind about fixing it. He still says I need to come back in a week. I did use a credit card, and they will help sort this out. First and last time I will use this place. read more

And when she tried to make a claim they would not let her leave with HER car that they damaged and took apart with out her consent they made her pay for her tint before they would let her leave. Husband took his car at 1:30pm for a tint visor, was told by the girl in the front that it'd be ready within one hour. Called hour & a half later and was told it would be ready in 45 min and they'll call us! 4:45 and still no call to us so we head over and discover the place is closed!! No one to be found.. car no where to be seen! Waited for 20 min, went down the street and rolled back around and discovered a worker pulling up to park a tow truck. We asked so our car was going to stay overnight or what since no one called us! We didn't authorize the car to stay, and husband had to go to work at 7pm (Carless). Good thing we came back and found that worker pulling up otherwise our car would of stayed overnight. Also keep in mind online it says they close at 6pm mon- fri yet their door says 5pm!! And they charge for cars overnight stays. So sketchy, I'll never go there again!!! DO NOT USE! Recently used Tint Doctor to replace my windshield and was appalled by the service provided. I read the reviews and took the risk after seeing multiple bad reviews from several years ago with poor responses from the management team at Tint Doctor. I figured it was a couple years ago and things could be better. WRONG. The windshield was repaired but none of the shattered glass had been cleaned out of my vehicle let alone the hood. I went back inside and politely asked the associate at the desk if I could get someone to clean out the glass as I have a 17 month old and the last thing I need is him finding a piece. She went to the back and had the Techs come back out. One of them inspected the car and asked "what's the problem", to which I respectfully pointed out all the glass left on the floor, dash, and hood. Under his breath, he responded "This Guy". I was not entirely sure if that was what he said so I asked him to repeat himself, to which he started walking towards me to get in my face and repeated "This Guy." All this happened with my Wife and Son standing right behind me in the parking lot. If I had not backed up when he got within 2 feet of me he would have continued to get even closer. I called almost every other day to talk to the Owner and never got a response back. I am a big proponent of using local businesses, but I would not recommend this one. read more

Got my challenger tinted by them. Was told the tint had lifetime warranty. Comes that my tint started to peel off so I called to make an appointment to have them replace the tint. Receptionist said my tint was only a year warranty. I said you guys guaranteed your work. She repeated claiming the person who did my tint no longer works for the company. tint came out good for now....but the whole customer experience was horrible. went in at 8 am 2/27/21. inside waiting room was very cold. the two guys working on my car were not wearing face masks or taking any precautions. They seem careless and not being about the customer. cant see your own vehicle being worked on. How are you supposed to build trust like that. Very sketchy place. They have a door with glass but the blinds are shut and they do not leave the door open at all. Peek in and then shut it if ever left slightly open. Creepy and makes me think they are doing something they are not supposed to be. Definitely don't recommend taking your car if your a clean freak like myself. They could have move front seats forward or used protective blankets or mats while in car. THEY LEFT FOOTPRINTS ALL OVER THE BACK OF FRONT SEATS! they need to work on giving the car back as clean or if not better than when they received it. No respect at all for my brand new vehicle! also left swirl marks of excessive windex on exterior of car windows and on paint. they left my click type fuel door open. We took our car to get tinted on Saturday but noticed there was a little piece of trash on one of window between tint. So I called the owner on Tuesday tells me to bring it in Wednesday evening, so got off early to take it. When i get there owner tells me to busy To Bring It In Thursday, So Wife Gets Off Early To Take Car And They To Busy Again. So as owner should worry about correcting issues not just take more cars in and promise people what you can't do!!!! Ur Web page says any issues bring it back and you will fix with no questions asked, you won't ask questions but you sure will give people the run around. To me they did a careless job on my car. I turned my car on and the A/C was blasted as high and cold as it could be., just seemed weird to me. When I got my car back the door panels were dirty. There was/are drip spots that I can't seem to remove and on my back windows there's small chunks of adhesive on the corners of the window. Oh and they don't even have 3M tint anymore so their website is out dated. I don't recommend this place. Living in the area I'd rather take the drive to Visalia or Fresno for another place. read more
