Adrian and Katie are genuinely nice people but their business practices are questionable. I called ahead last Friday and was able to get in to have my tints taken off, but the price that Katie told me on the phone ($340) was different from the price that Adrian told me when I arrived ($300) and then after talking with Katie he told me another different price that was higher than what he originally quoted me ($320). I was told a few times that I didn't need to make an appointment to come back and have my tints put back on, but when I came back on Tuesday there was a closed sign on the door that said "be back at 3", so I hung out until 3:20 but no one came back nor answered the phone and I couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full. I called ahead on Friday and Adrian told me to come in if I didn't mind waiting, so I was there about an hour when someone else came in who had made an appointment and he ended up having to wait an additional hour. Also, when Katie was talking with this customer she quoted the peel deal to him and it was an even LOWER price than any price I had been told so far ($280)! All in all, it was a moderately frustrating experience and $40 isn't a lot but in the future I will go somewhere that has their prices listed on the website and utilizes a scheduling system. read more

I googled a competitor prior to booking but the competitor was 3 weeks out; fortunately I was able to get in with Tint King in two days. My two windows was done within a hour, I watched tv and checked my work emails, Great lounge area. I even received a free upgrade on my tint at no additional charge; Not because I did anything special but because he was out of the regular Tint so the owner independently gave me premium tint . The shop is a retail tint store and is not open on weekends. i asked owner to tint my car on a sat and he laughed and said he would not work on a sat. after a few weeks the owner called me back and said he would come in on a sat to tint my windows. i had an appointment which the owner was 20 min late showing up to. 8 months later my wife had gotten a scratch in the tint and called him to see if he could repair the scratch. the Owner was very rude and stated the warranty did not cover scratches. offered to re tint the window for $200, seeing as i only paid $190 to have my whole car done i laughed at the guy. It is a professionally run business that uses super accurate machine cut templates and quality film. The downside is that they are more expensive than most of the hole in the wall hood shops. I first spoke with a few buddies and they told me check out Dave over at Tint King. I must say I'm glad I did. I stopped in just to check it out and get a price quote. I walked in the front door and was greeted by Dave and he asked what he could do for me. So I was told him I was looking to get my windows tinted. He told me the price would be $270 and than he showed me some examples of tint shades. After deciding on a shade, it was time make an appointment to my delight he was able to get me in within a half hour after a quick stop by my bank to grab the funds. The quality of work, and service accommodations, from Dave at Tint King was exceptional. I've had other tint jobs done before elsewhere and the finished product may contain embedded dirt, dust, and sloppy cut lines. The Tint King difference is that his shop (and personal vehicles in the shop) are squeeky clean (a very good sign of how your vehicle will be cared for!) and the patterns are computer cut. It is barely distinguishable where the tint film edges are on my job. I guess this review is long overdue, but I wanted to take the time to say that Dave continues to do a superlative job when it comes to window tinting. First, I should mention that the old Shop on Central got decimated by a truck last year, and they are working out of a temporary location until the new site is ready. With all of this, they were professional and very accommodating to our schedule.This was the third car I've had done by Tint King; the first was my Jeep in 2008, the second my Subaru in 2014. Eve with all the offroading I've done in the Jeep and the abuse it's taken, the tinted windows STILL look like new. It's crazy. This time it was a belated birthday present for my wife. Dave tinted the windows on her 2016 Forester. She loves the car, but felt is wasn't sexy enough and, while she likes the visibility out in the car, she didn't like the visibility in. Dave took the time to explain the tinting options and she couldn't be happier with the results. I have to admit, it really does make a big difference cosmetically and now she also doesn't need a shade stuck to the back window for our 9 month old. I went to Tint King at the recommendation of a friend who had had home and car tinting done by this company. From the moment I called to inquire about their services I was very pleased with the manner in which I was treated. I was able to get an appointment based upon my convenience. When I arrived I met Moe who was very knowledgeable about their products and also very approachable, welcoming my hundreds of questions about window tinting as this was my first tint purchase. We purchased the window tint for my daughter's car as a suprise for Christmas and she LOVES the way her car looks. I did notice a small tear in the tint on the driver's side window the following day after we brought the car home. I called TInt King left a message as it was Sunday and my call was promptly returned on Monday morning. I have been assured this will be taken care of after the first of year as the business is closed for the holiday which is completely understandable.
