Went in after I completely screwed and fried the wiring to my head unit hoping for the best and got Nothing less than! The original RCA's from Sonic Electronix was CHEAP and didn't carry any power (Thank You Sonic, I appreciate your Poor Service). The Tech took maybe two hours to fully diagnose and repair my atrocity of the art! Lol.... Not only that, He completely explained everything done in 'English' touring with how the head unit can be used to gain access to the crucial features for 100% Effectivity (Hope that becomes a word one day!). I Received complete **NEW** Wiring to my speakers and back to the head unit with a 1200 amp THUMPER Qoofing out of the trunk! Made sure to pass by my ex house with volume stuck on F-IT! Lol. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP. This shop scams people out of their money. They post Groupons for great deals but once you buy them they tell you they won't honor that Groupon and they try to charge you a price that was higher than Groupon price before the discount. The manager, Jake, told me I should have read the fine print. Because I had already viewed the voucher I had to spend an hour trying to contact Groupon in order to get a refund. I had my tints done on 7/27/19. I trusted the staff to install the tints flawlessly. After a couple of days I inspected the work they did and how the film was doing in the "drying process" saw some bubbles, and this thick line on the driver side. I came back that Friday to ask PAUL what it was and he said it was just water and wait til Monday 8/5/19 to see if it goes away to complete that 3-5 days curing process. I came back that Monday. Guess what, Paul was not there and there were not Tint installers in the building. Just Jake, the audio guy. Apparently all the installers were on vacation. Jake told me to come in whenever I'm available. So it's 8/12/19. Had my truck taken in to get re-tinted. I inspected the driver side, and saw DAMAGES on the weather seal edge molding (rubber seal) and the leather trim on my door panel. Come on really? I've paid almost 500 Dollars and get the crappiest service and install. This is not my first go round with window tints and I have to say I'm really disappointed. PLEASE do you research and actually read people's rational review. I do doubt PAUL and his staff will fix this issue. I hired Tint World to apply paint protection film to my new car( 1 month old) . Tint world said for an extra $125 I could have windshield protection added & I agreed. Dropped off to them and 2 days later, I went to pick it up. Not only had they done an amateur job, they had broken my windshield. ( they denied having done it and just for good measure they charged me ( more than the agreed price ) for putting protection on the broken windshield. Needless to say, even their insurance company saw through their lies and paid me for a new one. They did good in selling their services but I won't ever take my vehicle there again, nor do I recommend them. Thieves & liars read more

I was looking for a car alarm and I saw them on FB and decided to give them a call. I left a message and the next morning I received a phone call to come on in and look around to see what deals they have. Wasn't really buying that day, but the deal that they gave me was hard to pass up. So I got a car alarm and a set of 6x9 speakers...the manager was very professional and so was the technician, which he walked me through the process of downloading the app that goes to the alarm. He insured the most practical package for my vehicle was selected - he didn't try to upsell. Upon pickup, I was met with continued sincere friendly service. The job was completed during the window I was advised and my vehicle looks even better than I anticipated! Although this location isn't the most convenient for me, I intend to be a returning customer for other products as well. I called this place the morning of 04/29/15 for a quote, at which time I was placed on hold twice and forgot about. The third time I spoke to someone in auto sales.... The receptionist didn't ask what kind of sales I needed when I asked for sales, not knowing they dabble in three areas of auto sales. She didn't apologize after I advised her I was left on hold twice. I then spoke to the owner Paul who advised me of the prices and that if I wanted to acquire his services I would have to make an appointment, which was fine. As I make my way down there I walk into a deserted showroom! So when she comes out from the bathroom she tells me every single one of the tint installers are out on a job, and that's it...... No, what's your name and number and I'll have someone call you. Just awkward "whatever ness" smh just horrible customer service which is sometimes the first sign of nothing good. read more

Please BEWARE! Very unprofessional, botched up car detailing job. I paid over $200 for a $50 detail job. I was so disappointed. So much was promised; however, not done: did not clean the trunk, application of cheap wax, half cleaned and conditioned the exterior and leather; did not buff and paste wax as promised, the same dead bugs residue was not removed, and put liquid wax over top of bug residue. Noticed Nick (the customer service agent), often uttered wrong details about the sale. There excuse was, it was a Groupon($89). Also, I paid an additional $113 in upgrades. Not even one star! I am completely & totally dissatisfied with the work that tintworld has done on my brand new car . Is looks like complete & total shit . They told me to wait 2 weeks because the bubbles would fill &I a whole month later they did not fill. So I went back &I the tech told me that sometimes it fills sometimes it doesn't ? So I told her I wanted them redone. She presented the idea to me that they could apply a vinyl strip to the top , which they did today & it just seemed to add to the not so near looking work done by their establishment . I will be back there , maybe even to ask for a refund &I to have the tints taken off altogether . I could not be anymore upset that what I am right now! read more

I just recently purchased a new vehicle and I wanted my windows tinted to protect my leather seats from fading. A coworker recommended Tint World on North Point Blvd.My appointment was for 9am,however I arrived at 8:15am because I was unsure of their location. I was checked in and the job was started at approximately 8:30.The nice lady completed the job in about 2 hrs and I also used a $30 off coupon which is located on their website. please by all means I know this is long just please take the time to read this complain about tintworld I'm going to keep this real and authentic as possible this business tint world where I should begin I have a 2003 Chevy Blazer that I'm putting together nicely I should say I went to them the first time told them what I'm trying to do far as my truck and getting nice out they gave me a quote of 4,700 and some change I was finding that was a little too much for my wallet so I went to different places and got different quotes okay for some strange reason I've decided to go with tint world first I started my radio and the speakers all the rewiring for $1,500 I'm thinking to myself that's not bad so I'll get the box installed later later come along I decided I wanted to get mine box 12 inch Memphis speaker there was another 1500 all together I went from 4700 to 3000 it took them all day each one it took him all day to just put in a radio so I had to come back and wait all day again just for them to put in the box to remind you they did such a half-ass job I had to come back and stay again all day for them to do another half ass job then I had to come back again and stay all day again for them to do another have ass job so with that said I was done with them for 4 days straight while I was there he was testing the Box and blew up the box so you had to give me another speaker right then and there and previously before the Box I paid 1500 just for my radio in my speakers alone and when I pulled out the shop after being there all day soon as I pulled out they close and 5 minutes later my radio stopped working so I so I didn't have a radio until the next day I was super pissed so when I went back the next day I had to wait all day okay previously what my total came to 1500 that's not include the hundred and something dollars and taxes so I figured to myself I only have 1500 can they let me go with the hundred and $35 in taxes I told the check out front to call her boss my boss didn't even want to talk to me number one that's bad business number 2 that's bad business number three that's extremely bad business so I had to come up with $136 right then and there she called the boss the second time he still didn't want to talk to me I mean these people are ridiculous I should say the boss is ridiculous now let's go back to my box right now my box is blown up I have to wait 3 weeks into another box come three weeks without listening to my radio to add in my complaint about them my dashboard is cracked so he had to order me another dashboard which that should be in in 3 weeks hopefully there's no excuse for that which most likely it will be okay far as putting in systems for your car I strongly suggest don't nobody go to them they are like mr. I needed warranty work done on an invisible bra that I had installed when i lived in florida by tint world. This store said they called the store that installed it and there were out of business and could not get any information. Then I was told two weeks later that tint world warranty would not warrant a blister on the film. I decided to call the original tint world that installed my film, and guess what they were still in business and in the same place. I even called 3m and tint world warranty and they said I am covered under the warranty. Bottom line is these people are dishonest, I would never recommend or go there again. I also filed a complaint with the better business Bureau for this store. read more

I slept on this one because I was irritated. Ultimately, they installed my car starter and it's working good. However, their business practices and procedures are out of Wack. Simply put, when you drop a car off you shouldn't have to wait for it to be done until the very last minute before they close. A good business practices time management and fits things into appointments appropriately. My vehicle didn't start it's installation until 4PM when it was dropped off at 9AM. So, I spent the entire day without my vehicle when they could've simply told me to come at 4PM had they knew how to manage customers and time properly. In business, consumers don't want to be left in the dark. I was told install was 5 hours which meant it should've been done at 2PM. Only when I mentioned my displeasure did they claim I was told it would be done at the end of the day. We both know an install doesn't take 5 hours or even more than 1.5 hours. Why would a business make things easier for themselves by not committing to times rather than make their customers happy? 3 stars in generous but considering the young guy that installed my starter was super professional and apologized (unlike the owners sitting behind the counter playing on their phones) and did a really nice job. Wish I could give this place 0 stars. I Spoke with Paul about getting tint done. He upsold me on their "premium" package tint. He advised I show up at 9am, so I could be "in and out". I was the first person to show up that day at 9. I didn't leave til 1:30. 4 1/2 hrs for a tint job, when I was first. Fine, as long as the work was done correctly. Since I paid $450 for it, I figured I'd get good product and labor. I couldn't have been more wrong. Work was POORLY done.... bubbles everywhere, finger prints on the inside of the tint, and the worst part... when they did the rear window, they didn't even attempt to hide the edge of the tint in a defroster line. The edge of the tint was clearly visible with a seam, in the middle of the back window. It looked TERRIBLE. 4 days later, I ended up getting a window replaced (unrelated to Tint world). When I got the window replaced, the window guy asked me if I did the tint myself. That's how poorly the tint job was done. He said the tint they used, is the same tint his company uses... they get it from amazon for $100 a roll. He said as soon as he put his suction cup on it, the tint just peeled off in big sheets. I had their tint removed, and took it to another company. I will never deal with overpriced tint world again. read more

Not even ZERO star! Bad customer service/ Have bunch of young kids who doesn't know what they are doing. I took my 2015 Lexus GS350 for tining in winter 2016 and found out all windows has air bubbles in them. I called them and they asked me to bring the car and they will re-tint windows. If I could give 0 stars, I would. They are incompetent workers and had my car for almost 10 hours before anything was finished. The customer service was awful as well. We brought my car in at 8:45am and were told they would be done in "a few hours." We called at 3pm and were told that it wouldn't be done until 5:30-6pm. We arrived at 5:30pm and did not get our car until 7:10pm (they closed at 6pm and workers started to leave). When we got the car, the automatic starter did not work and had to take it back to look at it. We did not leave until almost 7:30pm. Worst experience ever. The only saving grace was that the worker who worked on my car profusely apologized and said they had given him too much work that day. I kind of felt bad for him. read more

My daughter called at 8:30am (in front of me) to get a price for my car. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift. She thought the price was good. Made an appointment for 11am. We went to drop the car off at 9:30 am due to having to do things between baby naps, etc. When we arrived they told her the quoted price was wrong. She showed them her phone with the time and date she called and price she was quoted. They said they guess they'd have to honor it, but wouldn't give her "35" legal tint. It would have to be "42" which is lighter. I suppose they have it laying around and can't get rid of it? The whole thing seemed shifty to me. After all the bad reviews, I just got a bad feeling and asked her to take it somewhere else. As she went in to tell them she'd changed her mind, she said there was another woman inside complaining about the work she'd had done. Glad I didn't take a chance with this place! read more

I asked for legal tint with the lifetime warranty to be put on my brand new 2017 Honda Accord that I got for Christmas. I later found out the tint was illegal from a vehicle inspection for a job. I called and spoke to the owner Paul and told him the problem and he asked if I had the receipt. I told him that I would have to check but if not than It should be in the stores computer. Keep in mind that I also had my sons car done with tint and rims and my second car I had a car starter. This man Paul had the nerve to tell me that they DONOT have records in the computer. What legit business does not keep computer records of sales. So far I located the receipt for the car starter and it was computer generated with a customer number. I moved twice and had no idea if I could find the other. After spending all that money. What a joke. A lot of business come from repeat customers and referrals. You will never ever get anymore business from me, my family or friends. When you are not getting any business or as much as you would like, you should look back at all of these bad reviews. read more

Customer service sucks at this place . The representative seem like a corrupt lil *****. He didn't explain everything in detail . He tried to hide important information about my purchase. Basically, trying to swindle me into buying something that might potentially backfire . When I started to change my mind on something , he hurried up and snatch the papers away from me so I couldnt make any other changes. Then , later realizes I needed to sign something so he gives the papers back to me. After I paid for everything, he was all of sudden willing to tell me more .... like oh you could have got 35% on the back window and another percentage on the door windows . Why wasn't this mentioned earlier in our conversation? The warranty sucks . Make sure you understand what this feature includes. It's lame , The people who worked on my car were nice and quiet . I had a good interaction with them because they didn't say as much . The tints so far look great tho. They do deserve credit for that . However, I did notice a few bubbles . DO NOT COME HERE!!! I had paint protection film put on my 16 Escalade and what a pS poor job they did!!! The film was unevenly cut and started collecting dirt underneath. My car was still exposed in key areas like hood and bumper. I am going through my CC company to get money back as I have to have it reinstalled by actual professionals!!! This company has poor customer service and terrible techs. Go to Absolute Perfection in Sykesville if you want quality work. This place is flat out garbage. I left work early today to make it in time for a 3:30 appt to have my windows tinted. I contacted Tint World the day prior to schedule my appt after being told that my 2 door car would cost $99. When I arrived they told me it was going to cost me $179! Not only did they tell me the wrong price, they treated me awful when I arrived in person. Their customer service was the worse I've ever seen & I would never recommend anyone to waste their time by going to Tint World! read more

Horrible experience!!! Run and managed by incompetent and completely dishonest workers. Work took much longer to be completed than what I was told. Had to bring my vehicle back several times afterwards due to their stereo installation mistakes. Attempted to install different alarm than what I initially ordered saying they no longer had that particular brand and only when I canceled the order did they suspiciously find the correct brand. WTF! Alarm installation also had to be corrected to allow all features to function. At no time did they acknowledge their errors or even attempt to apologize for them! No professionalism whatsoever. Old cut wires and debris were left inside my vehicle. Also, I ordered limo tint but got a lighter tint applied instead. As a hard working individual with a full time job I simply don't have the time or patience to continue going back to this awful place.
