The location "entry" way is actually in the back. It is on Colima, but you must turn into Jellick Ave and turn right before the car wash. The shop is on your first right. I got my 4 door, 2012 Toyota Corolla tinted from Tint Zone; for the price of $140.00. The price is their basic package and comes with a lifetime warranty! I walked out happy. It took a little over an hour to get my windows tinted with appointment. But there was a car ahead of me; so if I came in the right time and no other car was there; I would have probably been out of there in 45 minutes. The customer service was great, helpful and not pushy at all. They will advise you about the laws and the tint options. They have variety of choices; from tint shades to brand, etc. The waiting area is right where the shop is and only with 3-4 chairs, but it's good that the shop is surrounded by stores / shops. I normally go to Rich ' s for tinting but wanted to try a new place. I looked up on Yalps and decided to try this place with my brand new van. I called the same day for a same day appointment. The gentleman on the other side told me to come in at 10:30am. I arrived at 10:17am and picked a $400 package including the front windshield tint. The shop told me it would take at least 2 hours for the tint. I like the location and was able to walk to a near by restaurant for lunch. After lunch I went back to the shop and was able to find a seating area in the shop next to 2 other customers. I waited for about 10 minutes while watching the workers and shop owner tinting a customer's black car. The owner was at the same time chatting with a friend that came to visit possibly from a few door down. All of a sudden, the owner offered his friend a cigarette and they started puffing away in the shop. 2 other customers and I were sitting about 15 ft from them. I am pregnant and allergic to cigarette, so I walked out of the shop right away to the next shop where my car was worked on. Owner or workers smoking in the shop is a star knock down. I sat at the round stool against the wall for another 20 minutes and finally the worker told me that he was done with my van. I was so excited looking from the exterior of my brand new van. The tint made my van looked really sharp. However, when I went into to my van I was .......super super disappointed because they didn't do any prep work before tinting my van. I saw dry water spots on the dashboard, stereo, and mirror. My passenger seat had a light dirt spot from the tint. I turned around and looked at my brand new carpet and you could see mud stain on there. This is my brand new van and I am heart broken. :( I will have to knock down another star. before I left the shop, I had to get the owner to help me lift up the shop door, so I don't hit my roof to the garage door while driving out. Had my tC tinted here about 3 weeks ago. Their shop is a small garage right next to the car wash and the "waiting" area is a few seats inside the shop. They seem really busy and are also very quick! I made an appointment for 10 am on a Saturday and it took about 45 minutes with 2.5 people working on my car. There is no "high tech" equipment needed for putting the tint on so everything is measured and cut around your windows. I'm not sure if it's because they "hurried" it or etc but I did not like how dirty and wet the inside of my car got. After they were done, all the seats and insides of my car/door were super dirty and wet (like puddle wet). Also, all my windows were very blurry due to the dirtiness of their clothes that was used to wipe the windows and also the squeegee. Overall, I would recommend this place because of the price and the warranty. But just beware that your car will be dirty after getting your job done especially if it's a 2-dr and you're getting the rear windows done. read more

I needed tint for my Tesla Model S and called around a few places. I picked this place because they were the only ones who was able to schedule me in, the wait was only an hr for the job, and had great reviews on Yelp. This was my first time getting a tint job, and I just bought my car so I had a lot of questions. I had a couple of people help me. The first guy explained about the different tint options and price differences. I didn't plan on spending a ton of money for tint so I really wanted to know the value of the higher priced options and is it really worth it. Then, the owner started helping me, and he was very helpful. He asked me how long I plan on keeping my car and I'm thinking probably 5 years max as I plan on upgrading by then. If that's the case, he recommended the less expensive option - I appreciated the honesty instead of a pushy sales man trying to up sell you on something you don't need. My only regret was that I chose too light of a color on the driver and passenger side based on recommendations from the owner to avoid getting a ticket and almost asked to get it redone. When you're getting your tint job and choose different tint colors for front and back, asked to see it on another car before deciding as it's basically permanent from there (unless you want to pay double to take off and reapply). read more

I heard about this place from a friend and it was a drive from where I live but I made an appointment and I'm glad I drove the extra distance. I made an appointment and Kevin helped me out. He was very knowledgeable and helped guide me to what would work best for me. I have a Tesla model 3 and I was getting a lot of heat coming from the roof panels. I chose the crystalline cr70 for the windshield and roof panels and cr20 for the side windows. They did an outstanding job ! I've had many cars tinted and this is by far the best as far as quality of the film and the attention to detail from the installers. The only thing I would've done differently is gone a shade darker on the roof panel above the driver and passenger because it would have made the side windows look darker. They have 3 packages but i decided to go with the Llumar ctx which is better quality film but just a little pricey. Took about an 1 1/2. But the work was done very good. I just had my 5th car (2 of my cars, other 3 are family) tinted by David and it came out perfect. I scheduled an appointment for Saturday, he was ready soon as I got there. He told me it would be an hour and he finished just under an hour. David was straight up with explaining the different brands of tint he carries and their prices. He has three movie theater seats in the corner of the shop to wait and they were pretty comfy. Beats the plastic chairs at most other car shops. Bring a book or something and the time will just fly by. As for the people complaining about the dirt or black grime on their car, clean your car. The dirt is from the water run off when he wets the windows to size up the tint before he applies it to the inside of the window. Watch him as he is tinting and you will see for yourself. I came here about a week ago to get my windows tinted on my new 2014 Accord. I chose this place because of referrals from friends and family. My father told me it was one building when he took his car but I guess business is good and they now have to garages next to each other. I was fortunate to have them squeeze me in around 5-5:30 when they close at 6p. There was another Accord ahead of me. They work really fast and do a great job. I gave them 4 stars just because I think they can do a better job with prep work. Maybe cover/mask a few areas in the car that can be damaged from overspray of the water. I also gave them 4 stars because I think they damaged my right speaker tweeter with overspraying. But David the owner was very nice when I called in and complained about the possible damage. He answered my complaint professionally, said to wait a week til the water dries out and said he'd pay for the damages if it arose again even if it was a month later. Had my tints removed here a couple months ago for like 25 bucks because a cop pulled me over. Really cool people.. i forgot my wallet and they let me go home and pick it up and come back to pay for it lol! On the way out I requested a quote for my tints to be redone when i get the time and they actually know their stuff I have a BMW 335i and the thing is with these cars, theres a rubber gasket inside the door that scratches the tint if tint is put on. They knew that and they recommended i take that gasket out (or have them do it for a small price which was like 10 dollars each door). Wow, $50 to tint a 12"x30" piece of glass?!?! I even carried the car window glass in, which would make it a hell of a lot easier and faster to tint! Then he starts asking me what kind of car the glass is for. What does it matter? All he has to do is tint the glass and I'll install it the glass myself. I told the guy that I could buy a glass already tinted for $40 and he said "that's what we charge". I know people who paid $140 to tint an entire car at this shop. That means having to measure, rough cut, roll the glass on, etc. I just had a piece of glass that I wanted to tint before I installed it. So annoyed.
