Nice place to workout but very bad customer service desk experiences. We had a temporary membership…read morefor a trial class and later joined membership through the customer service desk, but they created a new record rather than deleting old temporary ones or merging them. Then they gave us membership cards with wrong spelling of our names and would not correct them when we asked. I tried to sign up for a class and pay the fee for members but was overcharged despite what was being advertised as the price on the flyers and course catalog. We went back and spoke with a different person to credit us the overcharge. But he would not credit us the amount nor would he look into what the issue was (why we were charged the different amount). He just said the price is different than advertised. Jeff said he would take down the flyers advertising the "wrong" price but he never did. Since we were not reimbursed the overpayment we opted instead to just drop the class and get the whole fee reimbursed. We were told in the future we could do it online because classes were listed there, but when we checked, our membership record did not have any of our classes listed. I assume they were on the other "records" with our names in the system instead. Later when signing our child up for a different class, yet another lady at the front desk was rude. She said the class is in a few minutes so we might not be able to get in if it's no longer listed on the computer. I had already confirmed with the instructor that there was room in the class and that we could in fact sign up that day and had written confirmation. However, Beth said it does not matter what the instructor says. I have no idea what the point of her saying that was because she did in fact accept my payment for the class registration. So there should never have been an issue. She also said we have four records in the system but she did not offer to merge them, delete them or help in any way with what we are supposed to do about that. It would be helpful to train customer service how to be polite with customers and also to problem solve and correct things that don't seem right (wrong charges or duplicate records) even if it means taking the extra time to go to their supervisors to get help rather than ignore issues that customers are having.

I just wanted to see if there was any way Family Wellness could facilitate and they just said NO. No alternative or suggestion. I am on a very tight fixed income and I do not need a full membership. I just want to swim. Why do they not offer a discounted membership for people with disabling health issues? It's not as if I would be able to utilize all the GYM offers. I don't want free. I just want to pay for the services people like me can use. I don't need treadmills, weights, or an elliptical. Doesn't seem too unreasonable to me.

It's the perfect…read moreplace to run, walk or bike along the windings paths, to enjoy the playground, sit and picnic, play soccer or other games, and so much more. Though I am partial (and totally unbiased) for Stonebridge #1 for Fargo Parks, Brunsdale really gives some stiff competition. It's like a mondo-sized park- there's several soccer fields lengths of just open grass. There's a running path that goes along the park for at least a mile and always winds around. It also has an underpass under the busy 32nd Street that's touching the south side of the park, so you don't have to worry about crossing traffic. The playground is fun because it has a lot of goofy, less common play equipment that looks like an absolute hay day for a kid. There's an adorable gazebo to sit at and even a little bridge across the tiniest valley. I recently discovered there are pickle ball courts here that are super clean, and Brunsdale also includes Brunsdale Baseball Park, which I've gone to on numerous occasions to play myself (softball) and watch others. They have a concession at times, and bathrooms. Another new addition is the interactive storywalk along the running path that has signs telling kids to do different things and it's so sweet and good fun. It would take a long time to get tired of this park with all there is to do!
