I purchased my Havanese whom I affectionately named "Girlfriend" from Brenda back at the beginning of 2019. As Girlfriend is approaching her 3rd birthday in November, I just wanted to take the time to say how much of a joy she has been for me, my daughter, and even my parents who have never been into animals of any kind! In fact, as we speak, Girlfriend is at the grandparents house in NC with my daughter and has been for the past month! I wasn't sure how the dog thing would go but working with Brenda was a breeze. Girlfriend has this far been a healthy and happy pup. We've only had to see a vet for check ups and minor things. She is everything I could ask for and more. Her personality is so much like mine, laid back...calm and collected, that it's unreal. I've been thinking about adding another Havanese soon. Beautiful puppy however came home with all kinds of issues none of which could be identified by vet 24-48 wellness check. A variety of worms, as she was obviously not dewormed and Giardia parasite which has now been passed to my two other dogs. Giardia has to be sent out for special testing which is not available in the 24-48 breeder request. We are now on a second round. This has been a nightmare because it is extremely contagious to humans as well. So keeping things sterilized around the clock is difficult. I have much more to add and feel free to contact me. I did advise her and she said she took all her dogs for testing I call bullshit on that, how does she know who's poops is who's, to get tested, This is very close to a puppy mill so don't be fooled by the beautiful website and promises of doggy door trained, family trained etc! It's not true! The live in huge kennels. The address on the website is not where they breed these dogs. They live at a location they don't want you to know about....i do have that address wish they would publish that and be honest. BUYER BEWARE AFTER SPENDING THOUSANDS ON A DOG YOU WILL NEED MORE TO MAKE THEM HEALTHY. We are now on our third round of treating Giardia. Let me tell you this is exhausting keeping all areas sanitized, bedding constantly washed etc. I have two other dogs, they have been treated as well. vet bills, compound pharmacy prescriptions (because the medication is really foul tasting) all $ that add up. how can this breeder possible send home a healthy puppy. Remember you sign your rights away when you sign that contract. This is a very dishonest person! will look you straight in the eye like a saint, but she is not, the devil is looking at your check instead! 4/7/22- I first reached out to Brenda in November of last year to inquire about a Havanese puppy. I shared with her that I needed a dog that would do well in an apartment and that didn't shed and wasn't a super yippy dog and was small enough to fit under an airplane seat for travel. I had heard that Havanese were the most popular dog in New York City. She reinforced that that it was a perfect breed for me. It was the perfect apartment dog. They didn't need a lot of exercise. If you worked Alot they did fine on their own. They kind of became what you wanted them to be. They were hypo allergenic and weren't yippy like other small dogs were prone to be. The price was way higher than I imagined I ever would spend on a dog but I had been trolling the shelters for month's and it seemed like every dog was not a fit for me. I arranged a meeting with Brenda and a Havanese pup she had in mind for me. My sister, Michelle, and I went over that wednesday to meet Ivory (the Havanese). My sister and mother live together here in houston. It was important for me to get my sisters buy-in because I thought she and my mother might be a surrogate home should I ever be traveling. Ivory was delightful but she was tiny. I expressed these concerns when Brenda called me to follow up a few days later. I told her I thought the breed might be too small for me and I would probably kill it if I accidentally stepped on it. She referred me to another puppy on the site called maya. That was a mixed Havanese/King Charles. I told her I would think on it. A couple days later I happened across the pictures of "Holmes" on the Tiny Jewels website. He was advertised as beautiful AussieNese. Which Iwas later clarified by Brenda to be 75% Havanese and 25% Australia Shepherd. That would make him slightly larger than a regular Havanese but still under 15 lbs so he could fit under an airplane seat. My sister and I went back to their showroom to meet Holmes and it was live at first site. After sone back and forth with this breeder I completed the purchase of Holmes a couple weeks later and picked him up shortly thereafter. In looking for a vet I happened on a deal that was a package deal that basically covered the first year's services for a new puppy. I wasn't aware but it also included a DNA test. When I received the results I was more than a little stunned. I believe I was purchasing a 6 week old puppy that was 75% havanese and 25% Australian shepherd. The DNA results showed Homes is a 12.5% Bishon Frise, 12.5% unknown, 25% Havanese and 50% American Miniature Shepherd. So my Aussie/Nese (25% Australian Shepherd/75% Havanese) was anything but. My puppy is through and through a shepherd. He may as well be 100%. He's sweet and I don't intend to give Him up but I really doubt my ability to make a good, happy home for him. American Miniature Shepherds are not good dogs for apartments. They require constant stimulation and exercise a house with a yard and kids are recommended. They shed seasonally and are prone to alarm barking. They also have this really charming habit of trying to herd you whenever you're in motion. so until I can break him off this I really can't have him around my 81 year old mother because in essence he is constantly trying to trip her wherever she leaves her. Basically everything I was trying to avoid in a new dog, I have now in Homes. I have contacted this breed but they have offered no resolution and no explanation. I guess it's like a used car. I recommend you have any puppy purchased From this breeder DNA tested before you fork over thousands of dollars. Because they clearly have no problem playing with the puppy breeds just to get a sale. I have them a 3 in the off chance that they may do sorting to make things right. I'll give it a little time and see. If it drops to a1, you'll know their did nothing. If you see a 4 or 5, at least they made an effort. read more

We purchased Jaxxon in January 2021. He has the best temperament, is really smart, cuddly and is super friendly. I read a lot about Yorkies and am glad I chose this breed. I can not tell you how perfect my beautiful fudge is. I have never loved a fur baby more. I received her at what you might think is a little older (12 weeks) but I really think that is best. I don't know what Brenda does to socialize her pups but it is awesome. I was scared she would have anxiety when I picked her up but she has been my lap baby since the first hour.. Fudge loves all people and all dogs she is great with babies. Fudge is the BEST car dog ever and I swear she can do algebra. She Was totally housebroken when she got home. I found this website and was absolutely amazed at how adorable their puppies were! After talking to one of the girls (Brenda) for a week about "Cherry Blossom" saying how interested i was, how i was in the middle of moving, and planning a flight out to Houston after being told they are no longer shipping (which is understandable). My frustration and the root of this review comes from the disappointment i have in the way everything was so unprofessionally handled. Like i said, i reached out as soon as I saw Cherry a week ago and asked if i can place a hold towards the end of the month (since i was moving) to which i was told "you seem busy" and after telling her I would do anything to get Cherry she said "let me know what you can do." I really wanted this dog and knew she would be gone soon so decided if i had to get her earlier than what literally seemed like we were planning a date (as she was advising me what airport and stuff) I was super happy that Cherry would most likely be mine. I looked through airline policies, researched flights, was planning for the trip, and was working out how to make it in the middle of moving. Today I woke up to a text saying someone called and put her on hold... what? Shocked at how greedy and inconsiderate someone could be; they didn't care about me as a customer at all, or my situation. :/ i really wanted to leave a 5 star review with Cherry but I guess that won't be happening now lol *edit* i must add that immediately after posting this review, she called me, once again showing how greedy this individual is as she only cares as soon as her reputation is challenged; she spam called me 3 times as well :) read more

I have to say , our experience with tiny Jewel Havanese was outstanding. Brenda was great to work with. Her daughters work with her , seems like a great family business. They seem very caring about the puppies but also about the family looking at the puppies. There was another family there while we were there and they treated us both with the upmost respect and compassion. It was a very enjoyable experience. We knew everything we needed to know before we got there there was no surprises. We took our little female Havanese home last night the whole family is very excited.
