This preschool has changed incapable hands a bit in the past which has caused major strife for both parents and kids. However, luckily, the new owners, director, and teachers have taken a sinking ship and turned it into a brilliant educational and loving space for families. These women have taken on this struggle head on and I am beyond thrilled to be a part of it. My son has blossomed here both educationally and social-emotionally. He can even do two-digit mathematics, uses "magnificent" and "superb" in a sentence and he's four! But beyond that, let's get down to why this school has my heart: -every teacher puts in such incredible effort in ALL they do. I posted a few pictures so you can get a sense of the rich environment; walls covered in creative artwork, tablescapes beautifully decorated for their holiday celebrations...(this is not part of any curriculum. This is unpaid work after hours with their blood, sweat, and tears just to make these kids feel special, appreciated, and so loved) -multicultural curriculum (uh, my four year old can school me on Chinese numbers? Yes please!) -they encourage parent/family participation like reading in the classroom and have these great fundraisers like "parents date night out". -they had their own Olympic Games! -on a funny note, my son actually comes home clean. His old preschool would send him home filthy with dirt in his hair, food on his face, shoes full of sand which caused all kinds of problems with his feet. These teachers love their students to the level where they keep them clean! (Don't mistake this for keeping them away from hands on fun. There's still plenty of that like gardening, painting, and plenty of sandy play. How they keep them clean, I will never know). They also encourage good hygiene like counting to 10 while washing hands (Thank you, Ms. Cynthia!) -their curriculum in the 4 year old class is Kindergarten level! I went to the open house of my son's potential elementary school for next year and he could do what those kids were doing. -they just successfully implemented a HEALTHY meal plan FREE OF CHARGE for families!! The director worked her tush off applying for funding so she could rid of the old food program of frozen, preservative foods and instead, without up-charging the families, will provide FRESH, clean foods for our kids starting March 1. This plan wasn't easy to get and won't be easy to continue but she'll do it because what she feeds MY kid is a priority to her. Unreal. Anyway, no, I'm not getting paid to write this. I just come from a family of educators so I know how much time and work goes into what is being provided to us and it's in need of some major recognition. I also don't want families to lose out on this gem of a school because of outdated reviews. AND I know how hard it is to find a good school for your babies so if I can help guide in anyway then that's what I'll do. I could go on and on and on. My son absolutely loves going to school! New management and the amazing teachers make it worth it all. I love the fact my son has homework every week. Quality time finishing his homework packet is important at my home and a great way to keep him on a schedule each day. My son had a speech impairment before getting his tongue tie operation. Literally I kid you not, from a year ago when he started to today. He's talking amazing, and in all full sentences. I've seen a huge change & I thank them all for all they have done. Let me not forget that he knows his ABCs all in Spanish! New management and ALL the teachers there are head on with each and every child. This new year with them has been a huge shift in the wave, but it's been an AMAZING change. I've been surprised with all that's been planned and all that's been done. There are a bunch of activities that include parent & child. One thing I must give it up to is The director because she really cares about the facility and it's need to improve and be even better. She's worked so hard to get funding for a healthy meal plan that is absolutely FREE. She wanted to change the old food program that supplied frozen foods from the last owners. She cared about what our children were eating. That alone meant a lot. She did not expect or ask any parent to come out of pocket and pay whatsoever. Starting March 2,2018 FRESH FOOD will be served! All of 3 of my sons have been to this pre school. My first two went here when Mr. Bob owned it back in 2010. From being in room 1 to having their pre-school ceremony. This school has always been caring, fun and safe. Now my 3 year old goes here, he started in September 2018. The new staff here is amazing and very trustworthy. It's hard to find a school where you don't have to worry about your kids being safe, being taken care of, eating well, or even being messed with by other children. I love these teachers and aids. They have so much patience for the kids, they make it so much fun for them when learning, they care for them like if their one of their own, and the school is very secured too. So much dedication that comes from this staff. My son is currently taking a Spanish class in the morning before nap time. Yes they have a SPANISH CLASS to teach the kids a second language. Their meals are amazing,Freshly cooked everyday. Every month they also have Parent Night out where they stay after hours and take care of the kids while you and your spouse can go have dinner or even run errands for a low price and siblings are welcome too!!! It's amazing to here my sons teacher be so excited to tell me about the new things he's doing or has learned. It really shows they care. My experience has been great with this school in general. Ms.Ana the school director is Great! My child has been at the school through the 3 owners over the past 3 years and it has greatly improved from the last owner and management! The original owner, Mr.Bob, of the location who retired after 45 plus years in 2015 was Amazing of course! However, the people who bought it from him obliterated all of the small school family oriented reputation he had built. They owned the school for 1 YEAR and it was during that time I almost took my child out. Luckily I stayed the course because of the Wonderful teachers that they kept from the Original Owner. The New Owner who turned the school to a Spanish Immersion Montessori, has been wonderful! She truly understands what children need to thrive and grow and like Mr.Bob, has worked with preschoolers for decades and really understands the needs of toddlers and preschoolers. The New Director, Ms. Ana is AMAZING! Hands down! She is very professional, kind and understanding of the needs of the children as well as the needs of Parents, she is very supportive and empathetic and she has made our family feel like we are a part of their school family once again! I would encourage any parent looking for a Quality Preschool that has wonderful enrichment programs: dance, sports, and swim lessons in the summer to definitely take a tour of the school and see for yourself! read more

I was really sad to see my last review and many other current reviews were dropped down to the none recommended section of this page. I'm a very active and involved parent at Canoga Park Montessori. My child started attending October 2017, during the change of ownership and the new management. I have witnessed this school go from a daycare style child care to a refined age appropriate preschool. This school is a unique type of montessori. It is unique to me and my child because we had previously toured and attended other Montessori schools that were too military for our taste and they didn't even do much art. This one keeps the child friendly activities and best of all it incorporates a dual language program. The spanish immersion class exposes my child to her native language which is important to us. The playground has gone through many changes, I love that it is becoming more of a reggio style playground and there is more to do for the kids outside. Although the new owners have been here for less than 2 years, you can tell they invest time and money in their program and teachers. When my child is sick and I have to keep her home, she cries because she doesn't want to miss seeing her favorite teacher Ms. Cynthia and eating her scrambled eggs with toast. My daughter has been attending this preschool since she was 3 years old, and now we have to say goodbye to our amazing teachers as she starts school. It has been an incredible experience, and we will truly miss our wonderful teachers -- Ms. Emily, Ms. Ingrid, Ms. Crystal, and Ms. Angelica. I have seen so much progress in my daughter. The education system at this preschool is effective, and I have no worries about her starting school because she knows everything she needs to succeed. The activities at this school were outstanding -- from magic shows and bubble parties to Friday pool days and even horse riding. These are unforgettable memories for our child and for us as parents. My daughter never had any accidents here, but even in small situations -- like when she once slipped and slightly scratched her finger -- the teachers made a report and informed us immediately. This gave me complete trust in them, knowing they never hid anything. The teachers are supportive, caring, and kind. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart! read more

Tiny Thinkers Preschool is absolutely incredible! My son previously attended another daycare where he often felt misunderstood and upset, crying whenever I left him and only calming down when I picked him up. But at Tiny Thinkers, the experience has been completely different. From day one, my son has been excited to go to preschool and even cries when it's time to leave--what a turnaround! The staff at Tiny Thinkers are exceptional; they are incredibly understanding and supportive, and their care for my son and our family has been truly remarkable. This is a very good preschool. They have exceeded my expectations, especially after Ms.Ana became the director and the new management took over. Both my son & daughter went here. They are reasonably priced, provide a nutritious lunch (included) and the teachers are very nurturing. My son learned to read and write here and is graduating soon. Ms.Ana is constantly in touch with parents and responds right away to any concerns. They are also flexible according to the parents needs. The classes are very diverse which exposes children learn to different cultures early on. They have a fun summer program and many events during important days like Mother's day, fathers day, the holidays, etc. Overall a good school and is very comparable to the more expensive preschools in Woodland hills at a reasonable price. read more

I wanted to share my experience as a teacher here because it makes me sad to see only the negatives and not the positives. Yes we have been through many changes and I can say with pride that I am one of the few teachers that chose to stay no matter the changes. I embraced the changes as a new opportunity to become a better educator. I enjoy coming to work everyday all the way from Palmdale because I am committed to my students and to a school that allows me to grow professionally. I understand change is never easy for some but for me personally, I have seen our school take a good direction these past months. The children are very happy and have fun every day. This school is amazing. I was nervous at first to leave my 3-year old son with no potty experience and not very verbal. All the horrors about day cares being bad on the news is terrifying for a parent. BUT not this place. The tour was easy to do, the kids look so happy. Signed up my son, and 6 months later, he is potty trained, no more Pull-Ups (yay), and he is now talking in full sentences both in English & Spanish (they have a spanish immersion class). I am so happy I found this place and so proud of my son who has grown so much. I can't wait for their summer program which includes swimming lessons. My son has been attending tiny thinker since March of this year and he loves it!! He loves his teacher, he calls his classmates best friends, he's very happy in his school. I have also seen a big improvement on his speech, social skills, and writing skills as well. My son is only 3 yrs old and he can write his on name. Knows his colors, ABC's, and 123's English and Spanish! The staff is very friendly, very clean, I love how professional they are. They communicate on everything that's going in on in the class, which I love. Also I haven't seen any other kid going into the school crying. They always seem happy going to their tiny school. Our little one who just recently turned 4 has been going to this pre school for a little over 8 months now and she's been loving every bit of it. She loves her teacher Ms. Cynthia and has made a lot of friends! Every time she comes home she gets so excited to tell us what new thing she learned or sing the new song that she learned. It's great that they're not only teaching them the basics of shapes, numbers, and letter, but she is also learning Spanish and sign language. This is regarding Rhiannon's post it is false My kids have been coming here since 2023, and my son receives speech delay services, child development therapy, and behavioral therapy. All three of his therapists come to the childcare center, and I also receive his sessions there. I regularly see other therapists working with other children as well, so it's clear the staff supports many kids with different needs The staff has always been patient, supportive, and excellent with children who require extra care and every kid at tiny thinkers I wish I can give more than 5 stars every staff member is amazing ! read more

My 4-year-old started at Tiny Thinkers Preschool a few months ago. This is her first ever school. I thought she would cry on her first day, but surprisingly she held the teacher's hand and walked right in after waving goodbye. Her teacher, Cynthia, is a great teacher. My daughter would come home and sang the songs she was taught. She even showed me how to pronounce certain words that she learned. Not only the teachers (also Ms. Jocelyn, etc.) are wonderful, the place is very clean and well kept. My daughter enjoys going to school everyday and I'm glad that I've found this place. read more

This school is absolutely wonderful. My daughter has been here since she was two and although there were some rough times while the school changed ownerships the care the teachers put into the education and care of the children never suffered. Its been 1 year since my daughter has been attending this school. It's a very clean and safe environment for my daughter and that's what I like most. She enjoys the Spanish immersion class Ms Vanessa is AMAZING. All of the teacher there are very sweet and caring!! I'm very impressed with the things my daughter has learned while attending this school. She loves the karate class on Monday and the science class on Wednesday. I would definitely recommend this daycare. The teachers are great, friendly, professional and on top of that great to work with. They were more than happy to answer any questions, and always take the time to answer my calls, when I do decide to call in.
