The school kept him safe and healthy (they only had 2-3 covid cases, never in his class) and also provided an enriching, fun environment. Once he started the pre-K section he was stimulated, learned all his letters, and began learning numbers. The class worked together on packets, while continuing fun and enriching activities on the side. He left very prepared for Kindergarten and had no issues transitioning due to their solid preparation. During his time there my son made great friends who he has continued with into kindergarten. When issues arose (as they do over a nearly 5 year period) we were able to resolve them quickly through meetings with teachers and staff. We always felt listened to and felt that issues were taken seriously and acted upon. I would highly recommend this Goddard to anyone looking based on our extended experience there.

I have had two children attend there through the years and the staff turn-over is very low. The director is incredibly thoughtful and friendly and caring. She goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable with your children in their care. One of the best parts is the school's flexibility. You can choose two, three, four, or five days per week, choose the days, and choose the amount of time. The regular day is 9-1 and the kids eat lunch at school. You can also choose a longer day of 9-3, and/or before and after care which would cover a full work day. They follow the LWSD school district calendar, for the most part, and also offer summer camps. While many parents focus on academics, I was more interested in how my children were learning new things, participating in concerts, and performing on stage. They gained a wide range of skills and became more independent. Ms. Kim and all the teachers are well educated and dedicated, always looking happy and smiling, and greeting everyone with a welcoming attitude. They treat the kids and their families like their own. Other children in the neighborhood who also went to this school have grown up to do really well.

They talked pricing but she didn't feel comfortable at this point so she said no thank you. Celena then insisted on getting her phone number down so they can "reach out after some consideration" which doesn't make sense bc after consideration WE have their number to follow up? My partner restated her no thank you and turned to walk out the building and Celene said " I look forward to seeing you again." So either they let anyone work there or Celena is in heat.

He is always eager in the morning. Last week he even told us his new school is fun! We appreciate having a bilingual Preschool nearby and we can see an obvious improvement just 3 weeks in. His teacher, Mrs. Chen is full of positive energy and has been a good influence by encouraging good behavior. She also prepares great weekly reports that are useful along with awesome pictures. Later in the day, the school also offers after-school care. This allowed our son to interact with older kids as well. He is able to mingle and learn from them like picking up chess.
