Steve came out and gave a very fair estimate. When scheduled, he was on time and cleaned up. We had our turbines replaced and a few minor repairs done, including a few things that weren't in the original estimate. Even though it now gets dark early, he stayed to finish the job. I can't speak highly enough about him and the job he did. I am usually skeptical about reviews, wondering in they are really true, but Tip Top roof delivered. On January 20, 2025 a severe windstorm swept through Hemet. Winds got up to 70 mph. It tore up my Mother's mobile home roof, which was getting old in the first place. These guys are great! I called them to repair a leak. They were out for an estimate in 2 days and managed to fix it the following day to get it done before rains came. It turned into a bigger job but they stayed until after dark to ensure it was fixed properly at no additional cost. I will need the entire roof and will definitely go back to Tip Top. read more

They were really helpful and patient with me, as I was months out after the quote due to other non roof related issues. The main office was very responsive . They handled the permit, were fast and even worked the day before thanksgiving. The price was in line with everyone else. The tear off guys were nice and showed me the roof when they were done, framers did a great job in where my chimney was removed, and replacing most of the facia board. And the installers were informative about what they were doing. The only complaint was I didn't know they were coming until they showed up. Josh had missed telling me a time/date. The other day during our last rain event, I stepped out into my garage, and I heard and observed water dripping on top of my close dryer. Tip Top Roofing did an outstanding job on our roof. We had a few scheduling issues but once they got started it was smooth sailing, day one they tore off the old roof, day two they replaced a few boards, laid down the new roof and installed the new whirly birds (3). At the end of each day they cleaned up the work area better than we had expected. Any issue we had was dealt with either immediately or as soon as possible. The cost of the total job gave us sticker shock but their expertise, expedience and professionalism made it all go down a bit easier. I requested a quote through their website. I missed their return call and tried 3 times to get in touch. The 3rd time someone answered the call and was ignorant of my request saying the person that called me had left for the day and someone would reach out to schedule an appointment. Having heard nothing more from them, I tried calling their number a few weeks later and it went to voice mail where I left my contact info. The rains of March gave way to 3 roof leaks. Tip Top Roofing said they would send out for an estimate...The estimator Isaiah came over within the week and the work was finished within 2 weeks from then. The 4 workers were the best. They did three days of getting rid of 45 + tiles and finished the job not taking any down time. I had my roof repaired with Josh at Tip-Top Roofing. Josh was great and kept me updated with photos throughout the project. He also did a full roof maintenance to seal all the vents, replaced broken tiles & secured the other tiles that were slipped out. I waited a few days to put my review because we were waiting to see how the roof was going to hold up after the heavy rains that showed up the following days. Everything held up great and no leaks. So I called them and the lady who answered said Isaiah called me three times and I didn't answer to which I responded that is incorrect because I was home near my phone all day (after having taken the day off because of their time window). So the lady said she would have Isaiah come out bwtween 9 to 11 today and no one has shown up AGAIN. I called at 9:50am and got a voicemail and I left message which has not been returned. Bate and switch! Beware! They sent me an estimate for $1,450.00, then the owner, Steve called me to say it would be over $8,000.00! He claimed he never sent the original estimate, until I sent him a copy if It! The proposal called for "change orders" for materials not included in their bid! Very irresponsible owner, Steve Bowen. A couple of months ago, during his spraying on of sticky roofing materials - which resulted in damage to surrounding homes and automobiles...he acknowledged his culpability when confronted....then as soon as he had left the premises, he refused to cover ANY expenses for homeowners reimbursements to have their homes and cars cleaned of these very sticky and damaging materials. This has been an ongoing attempt to re-cover expenses - also involving the owners insurance companies Steve Bowen and Sharon Richardson, owners of Tip Top Roofing, have been completely negligent in responding to numerous requests and complaints of a very careless execution of their roofing work. We used Tip Top Roofing for a small project and the did a good job for a good price. A year later we had a large project and called them again. We expected good results like last time. No such luck! We had delays in starting the project, then there was rain to deal with because of the delay, more water inside. Once they finally started we were told the estimator made a mistake and they wanted us to spend more money. They didn't actually repair the leak on part of the building and we called them back under warranty. They tore off the roofing material and left it exposed without permission. When I asked them why they did that, they thought we would just pay them to complete the roof tear off & replace it. When I told them I had to call another roofer and get a quote the owner told me if we used another roofer that it would void our warranty on the rest of the roof. Of course I told him NO! He will warranty the rest of this work. When I asked him as to why this major dry rot was missed the first time, I was given the excuse that it was raining (because they delayed the project) and they couldn't tear off the roof material. When I told him that wasn't good enough he blamed the former estimator. Well, needless to say we hired another roofer to replace that section, but not before it rained again & flooded the building because to roofing material was torn off. I think Tip Top tried to force us to hire them by removing the roof material before the rain came. I don't believe it was a "miscommunication" with his staff. read more
