Called Monday to make an appointment for a repair. The scheduler mentioned both my wife and myself had to be present, I told her that's not possible in the near future as we both work and have kids so we scheduled a time for Thursday afternoon. On Wednesday the scheduler called back to confirm and ask that both my wife and myself had to be at the scheduled appointment to which I reminded her that wasn't possible. DO NOT USE BERRY ROOFING! We paid $4,000 to have them fix a leak on our roof. They claimed they would patch and replace tiles. After the first rain WITHIN 30 days of work being completed, water was leaking through our roof and into our garage. I called multiple times with no return. All I want is for them to fix the leak that we have already paid for. **In response to Ron's response: This is not true. We called you to fix a leak, we did not call for a "maintenance visit." You placed the patch where you thought the leak was coming from. If you were not aware there was an active leak, then how did you know where to place the patch. If you thought this was a new problem, and not mistake on your end, why can we not get a call back? Please give us a call back so we can get this taken care of, or refund our money. read more

This review for Berry Roofing is long overdue. I waited for a good rainstorm before writing a review, and the roof passed this week's rainstorm test 100%. Berry Roofing replaced my 476 sq. ft. solid wood patio roof in November 2024. Many roofing companies I contacted said my job was too small and not worth their time. Not Berry Roofing. They responded quickly to my request for a quote and sent someone out within a couple of days to look at the scope of work and provide a quote. The salesman was very knowledgeable, addressed all my concerns, and treated my small job as importantly as a $25K whole house reroof. Once I decided to proceed, the job was scheduled the following week and completed in two days. A final inspection was done on the third day by the foreman, who did some touch-up and additional cleanup. I really appreciate him coming out. There were a few issues with the gutter that needed fixing, and he took care of that immediately. I want to point out that they did not just replace the rolled asphalt sheeting; they replaced the wood decking too. They removed the old wood decking down to the beams and painted the replacement wood decking to match. The new roof looks great and is watertight. Berry Roofing did an excellent job replacing my patio roof. The roofing crew was skilled and knowledgeable. The sales and production teams provided outstanding customer service too. We found wet drywall in an upstairs room after recents rains and with the roof being 30 years old we needed to get it repaired before more damage took place. I did a little research online and found Berry Roofing had high scores so gave them a call and within a couple days, Shazz came out. After showing Shazz the interior damage, he took several moisture readings then climbed on the roof and did a complete roof inspection that included pictures and videos. Shazz explained some different options, materials and processes that would be used; we chose to get about 600 square feet of roof repaired over the problem area. Within a couple days work began then after completion, Shazz came out for a final inspection. This was by far the weirdest interaction we have ever had with any company who has given us an estimate for work on our house. The man from berry roofing came by to do his assessment. We then got a call to make an appointment later in the week where BOTH my husband and I were both present...ok...when the guy arrived, he came inside and proceeded to give us a PowerPoint presentation about their company and how loved they are that went on and on. It felt like we were in an intrusive timeshare presentation that we couldn't get out of. We finally stopped the presentation and let him know that we needed to speed things up as our kids were melting down, and he looked so disappointed and said he would speed through as fast as he can, and then kept going. A couple minutes later we just ended it and let him know we would make our decision if he'd like to send us his quote. He said, "That's disappointing," before packing up his laptop. Marcus couldn't be more professional through the whole process. He doesn't try to upsell you on anything, he gives you options on what else can use attention and he will breakdown the cost as far as what you need to do to get the roof repaired and what repairs are optional to upgrade your roof. The pricing was very good (better than what I was expecting based on other quotes that I have gotten). The company as a whole is very easy to communicate with, every time I called with a question I was able to get ahold of someone that could answer my questions. That is a very good business practice especially when your customers are spending this kind of money. The workers who repaired my roof were on-time everyday and they also had very good communication as they were doing things.
