My car needed a check up and mentioned to them what was wrong with it, was told that it would take all day. Keep in mind i was under an appointment at 9am. The employee from the beginning seemed unprofessional because they didn't ask for basic information other then my phone number not even maintenance history info on the car. It was close to closing time (7pm) and hadn't gotten a update call on it ALL DAY. I decide to show up and everyone was already leaving??? I ask the employee where's my car and what was wrong with it and couldn't give me a solid answer. All i got in return was my car with less gas then what i turned it in because they needed to drive it in order to find the problem which was never found and on top of that noticed they went thru my personal belongings like my middle compartment and glove compartment. I don't recommend bringing your car unless you seek un professional help. This location and employees were a joke to be brutally honest. read more

This Hyundai dealership is not honoring the factory Complimentary Maintenance for 3 years or 36,000 miles. Although you can find proof online that this maintenance plan does exist they just tell you verbally without any factory documentation that you only get 4 free oil changes in the three years. I tried researching anywhere where this was the case and I could not find anything to back this up. When I contacted another dealer they verified that this plan does come with the free maintenance. I am deployed with the military to the Middle East and before I left I researched all the brands and their maintenance programs and Hyundai blew them all out of water with this. Unfortunately Brownsville Tipton Hyundai has ruined this purchase buying experience. I hate to think with it's large Hispanic community I think they figure most individuals will not research this information and just pay for oil changes. Take your business elsewhere Tipton Hyundai is not the place to purchase your next vehicle. read more

These people are the worst at their job, had a new hyundai sonata 2021 brand new drove maybe 3 times till a woman backed into my right side on the front of my car. We go to this idiotic place and of course they got their $500 from us and did a terrible job, leaving it there was the biggest mistake while there it obtained scratches, scuffs, a dent mark on the bumper. The paint job was terrible they buffed and buffed and still couldn't get the job correct, they left a scratch as well as I had just saw it after I left I went back quickly and my mother spoke to the general manager a 80 year old something probably on his death bed and yes those are my words, he then proceeded to say he couldn't see anything and that the bubbles were little imperfections & let's not forget the paint job was terrible, and was lifting from the light area and even after leaving it for more than a month they still couldn't fix it. We got told they couldn't do a 1:1 factory paint job or anything of the sort. I'm sorry you're working on a almost 35K car and can't get it correct? + the $500 that we're paying out of our pocket and of course the insurance as well. Y'all couldn't do your job if a little kid tried too, generally disappointed and disgusted at the management, workers, and everyone in that building. Quick summary: Brought my vehicle in for a flat tire repair, and through a variety of issues, took almost 2 days to resolve via miscommunication, wrong parts, etc. At first, I was extremely displeased as my history with this car dealer has been less than stellar. Update: Service Manager Joe Villarreal, while I first assumed he was brushing me off, actually was working some sort of magic finding a spare tire for my Veloster, which unknown to me at the time, doesn't come with one, and also working to find a replacement tire jack and working to repair and smooth the general disdain I had developed for this facility. He did an outstanding job, above and beyond, and Adam at the Service counter did his best to be a solid middle man getting things moving and working with what he had. While not 100% on board here, yet, this has been a great turn around and I would consider going back for my next new/used car now. Additional note: The Customer Relations department for Hyundai reached out to me regarding my initial post, took the time to read and then listen to what my qualms about this dealer and facility were, and worked their best to inform and update me on said issues. They didn't have to reach out, but they took the time and that extra step, and definitely made a difference in my mind. More companies need to do this, and their customers will respond accordingly. read more

what can I say. dropped my car on a Monday without an appointment. I had been having trouble with my car and got taken care of by mr. john wells. I explained my problems and was immediately handled despite having a busy Monday. was informed they would see it and call me back to let me know what had been found. I got the courtesy ride home with minimal waiting. while waiting in the area ms. Amelia Moreno was very cordial with me and proceeded to share with me some of the tricks of the car in case I got stuck. she was very interested in finding out the nature of my problems with the car and reassured me that all was being taken care. thank you to the staff of tipton Hyundai for going above and beyond in providing excellent customer service. I was very pleased when I went to pick up my car later in the day to find out the repairs had been covered undedr a recall even though my car is out of warranty. thank you for doing your customers right and for fostering the dealer- customer relationship. I have no qualms about taking my business to tipton ford. keep up the good work and for taking it up a notch in customer service. read more
